“As someone who’s lived in Pleasanton for years, I’ll admit I’ve become pretty particular—and honestly, a bit disappointed—when it comes to the breakfast and brunch options around town. It’s hard to find a place that really gets all the details right. But this spot was such a refreshing change.
This morning, I met a very close friend for brunch, and we were lucky enough to sit outside on their beautifully decorated patio. It had such a calm, inviting atmosphere—exactly what I look for when I want to actually enjoy a slow morning and good conversation.
I couldn’t help but notice the little touches right away. The coffee cups and dishware were absolutely beautiful—thoughtful and elegant without feeling overdone. And the coffee itself? Genuinely excellent.
I ordered the veggie omelette, and it was exactly what I wish more places would serve—perfectly balanced, not overloaded, and not skimpy either. Just the right portion, cooked well, and satisfying without leaving me feeling weighed down. The fresh fruit on the side was a lovely compliment.
I walked away from brunch feeling completely satisfied—not just full, but happy with the entire experience. I’ll absolutely be coming back.“

“Vic’s All Star has it all for the whole family: your vegan cousin, your picky kids who only eat pancakes and bacon, your friend who’s a bottomless pit for humongous omelets. Want something lighter? Check out their healthier options. Craving a Mediterranean wrap? They’ve got it. In the mood for a classic brunch? Go for it— they have delicious, traditional dishes that hit the spot. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to because the food is SO good you’ll want to try everything on the menu. The chilaquiles omelet was incredible—no canned salsas or beans here, folks. Everything tastes homemade and authentic. The quality is high, and the ingredients are fresh; you can tell this isn’t some plastic-wrapped plate heated up in a microwave. Their potatoes make an amazing side, especially with the breakfast dishes. And the best part? It’s the kind of restaurant where you’re greeted with a warm smile and instantly feel at ease and welcome. Highly recommend—such a great place!“
“We came for an event hosted at this restaurant. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The menu was all vegetarian so we didn't had high hopes with it knowing it's all American restaurant. But it turns out that the best part was the food. The vegetarian lasagna was the best I had! Compliments to the chef!!“

“Wonderful employees and kind to everyone that comes in.“
“After a long day flying into Oakland from the east coast in December with bad weather, we arrived frazzled & tired but ok. Since we were on east coast time, we just wanted to eat & go to bed. Michael, a front desk attendant, gave us outstanding customer service - the best we have ever seen from a front desk staff. He went out of his way for us as they tried to help us figure out a way to get to Lake Tahoe in between blizzards. There was also a female front desk clerk who was helping also but I forgot her name. He went above and beyond to make our stay. Thank you, Michael. Room was your typical Courtyard. It is an older hotel & definitely needs an upgrade. Good local owned restaurant next door. Right off the interstate 580 & about 20-25 minutes’ drive to Oakland airport without traffic. Cons: Hotel charges for parking. Not sure if they have problems in the area, but it seemed to be safe. It seemed strange to pay for parking for a hotel in the suburbs. “Big shout out to the service at Denny’s over the Labor Day weekend in Pleasanton. Javier personally accommodated a group of 20+ all week long while we were in town for the Scottish Highland Games. He is what is missing from the service industry! Take notes.“

“I went for my monthly turkey dip again last night. Once again the French fries were perfect, the dip was giant and the au jus was piping hot. The multiple screens all had different sports, so I could watch spring training baseball while my dad could watch his thing, ( I don't much pay attention once I focus). The service is impressive! There were only three of them, including the bartender, and we had everything we needed before we knew we needed it. Love these guys and I look forward to seeing them next month.“

“We had an event after a memorial service at Sidetrack and can’t say enough good things. Todd and everyone that helped us were amazing. The food (big kudos on the cauliflower), the atmosphere and service was incredible. We were in the Angela Patio on a rainy night and the patio was cozy with the heaters and the perfect place to have a special event. Thank you Todd.. everyone was so kind and you all took such great care of our family! I would recommend you to everyone.“

“Love this place. Can't really go wrong. But I prefer the steak fries“
“I came here for Michigan vs UCONN and left knowing I'll be back with the family to have them try some of the fantastic food options. This visit was very unexpected, but really glad that I came to enjoy the food and drinks that were offered. Three drinks with appetizer and entree later, every part of me left happy.“
“The gym is great. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Giant tennis area, 2 basketball courts, lots of cardiov machines, yoga studios with lots of classes, I usually don't have to wait for anything in the weight room. The big drawback is the cost. Very expensive membership. I wouldn't be going here if I had to pay for cost of membership.“

“Came through to Pleasanton to visit my German cousin and we stumbled across this nice little Austrian restaurant. He hadn’t been to downtown in a while and this was a nice surprise for him as he didn’t know this place existed. The inside was nicely decorated and was a good looking bar. The seating was a little bit crammed as there were a lot of small tables inside. The food was on point and really hit home. I especially liked the spicy bratwurst as it was a lot spicier than I was expecting for a European style sausage. It was a pleasant surprise. What was strange to us was both servers available did not seem to comprehend what we were ordering each time. We pronounced the food and beer names as they would be in German and they had no clue what we were referring to until we pointed. One even asked us if we were sure the restaurant had the item we requested even though we were literally reading off the menu. It seems like the staff could use some additional refresher training. Other than that, it was a cool spot for some Austrian/German food and drinks. We’ll be sure to visit again.“

“Thank you, Carlos the manager and Carlos, the server. You guys are the absolute rockstars. Back story - a kid’s ordinary pizza 🍕 birthday 🎂 party was made so efficient and fun for the kids by the team members that it felt like a five star ⭐️ event center venue. So glad we decided to host our daughter’s birthday party at your place.“

“Had been here today (Sunday) for lunch. I had a good experience overall. We sat outside as the weather was nice and sunny. The staff is very friendly and courteous towards guests. The food menu is good with variety of options for both veg and non veg lovers. I had lemon pepper chicken and it was very well prepared, it was nice juicy and tasty. Yes, i would recommend this restaurant in case you are looking for a good food in Pleasonton.“
