“I ordered a beef patty and coffee to go and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The coffee was excellent, and the beef patty was really tasty. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place.

“Owner RANI opened Café ChaiAum in the former Subway location to share her passion for a love of baking. The renovations took months to complete, but the results are charming and comforting. Relaxing music plays in the background, tables are gorgeous handcrafted wood slabs, and the vibe is genuine.

At the center of it all is the star performer, a delectable, piping hot chai, poured from a huge, shiny silver tea pots—the biggest I’ve ever seen! The chai is made with love, organic milk and spices from Nepal, which directly supports farmers there.

As I was leaving, Rani graciously refilled my cup and generously offered me a sweet Diwali treat. On the menu are also homemade pastries (both savoy and sweet) and all looked delicious. Come by and support your local small business owner, drink delicious tea and be part of a lovely community.“

“I have been searching for a nice quality matcha cafe on this side of the Bay! I haven't had an egg sando like the one here since I went to Japan last year. If you're not into pork, make sure you indicate “no bacon” and the strawberry cream sandwich is also so good! The owner of the cafe is very sweet. Please keep in mind that she is by herself so give yourself time to get your order. The cafe is super cute and it was a nice relaxing experience.“

I felt like the lattes were a little mild on the flavor syrups, but they were decent quality and enjoyable. The breakfast sandwich was also decent.

“Like others says, it’s a hidden gem. It’s literally inside a hidden area of an office building. GPS sends you to the opposite side where the cafeteria is. You just have to enter the building and cross to the other side. Then you will get nice pastries and great coffee. My favorite was the everything bagel with cream cheese and pickled jalapeños. You can’t find that flavor anywhere in Pleasanton. I’m coming back to get more.“
