“Lake Chabot is a great place to walk - shorter walks or even the 9 mile very scenic loop around the Lake starting and ending at the Marina Snack Bar/Cafe. Not much of a place to eat through very limited selection - much much less than a 7-11.“

“I am a regular at this local and family-owned business, and I will say that this place DOES not disappoint.
Located right off of Foothill, it's at a prime location where you won't miss it -- because the coffee shop is right on an intersection.
The first time I went here, I was immediately blown away by the smell of the cafe de olla. As you can imagine, having a craving for it would have instantly brought me to it -- and it did. The owner, Sal, is always so welcoming each time. There's something about the coffee shop with the art and her energy. Their cafecito is one of the best in Oakland. She'll even ask if you want milk and sugar in your cafe de olla (when some cafecito places don't). Not just that, they also make the different pastries and arroz con leche from the kitchen (and from local sources as well).
They also make tamales as well -- from what I've heard! And their chilaquiles are also the BEST as well.
I would give this place a try when y'all have the chance!“

“Best breakfast sandwich in the area, and best prices too!!
Today’s special was chorizo and I was thrilled they let me add chorizo as the meat option to the breakfast croissant.
This was the best tasting breakfast sandwich, truly cooked and assembled to perfection, and the service is friendliest in the town for sure. Thanks Dimond cafe!!“

“It's basically a storefront at a small business park that serves Mediterranean food and a few American-style items too. The food is fresh and flavorful. However, there is no indoor seating, so it's either a take-out option or there are a few tables and chairs available under a sun sail in the parking lot.“

“Great local and family owned coffee shop. It's small but we appreciated the space and the wonderful service very friendly and she made our breakfast sandwiches to order. They take cash, Venmo, and Zelle just a heads up but that wasn't an issue for us. Would highly recommend to anyone.“

“I have now been to this location at least 5 times. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere cheerful, with enough seating both inside and out. I like that they have self-serve water. I keep wanting to try something new -- they have lots of options -- but every time I order the avocado smash toast, I am always so satisfied and delighted that I can't bring myself to order something else! The avocado is ALWAYS fresh and never past its prime. That must be hard to do. I appreciate their quality assurance. (I can recall from other restaurants or sandwich shops the disappointment of paying extra for avocado but getting fruit that has that weird/bad taste of old avocados.) The smash has these scrumptious little marinated cherry tomatoes and microgreens and the tiniest hint of heat from a little chili oil. Yum. A feast the the eyes, too. Toastique in Danville is a great place to have a leisurely breakfast with a friend or a post-workout snack. I also want to given a shout out to the owner who was working on June 2 for the Danville Restaurant Walk. Thank you for being so friendly and generous!“

“Went in to drop my ballot and had breakfast. A tuna sandwich with coffee. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely go back again. Lots of table to sit and a nice place to catch food before or after taking the ACE or Amtrak train ride.“

“This coffee place is definitely a place where you wanna go, when there's not that much people. I love the modern and hip vibe of the building in itself -- the decor inside the place a really cozy yet light environment.
I love how active they are about giving back to the community. That to me shows a lot. They're also proudly Latina and women-owned too, so that in itself shows a lot.I walked in and got an horchata latte -- and needless to say, they were one of the best ones I've ever gotten. It tasted really silky, not too sweet, and the cinnamon taste wasn't overbearing. One thing to note - they are closed on Tuesdays, which is odd. I will not question that.
They are also a vibe as well -- great hospitality and they treat everybody who comes in like familia. Now THAT is how you run a local and small-owned business and have regular customers like me go back time by time.
I definitely will be back to support this establishment!“

“This place has good food, but they really do need to focus on cleaning up the area where you eat! All the tables were filled with crumbs from people eating and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over a week and none of the staff seemed to care about it. They were busy on their phones instead of tidying up the place.“
“I was there on 3/24/2020, during the morning senior hours. I WAS BLOWN AWAY AND SO HAPPY, SO IMPRESSED WITH SAFEWAY'S CLEAN AND ORGANIZED STORE. Great job Safeway, I normally shop with you anyway, from now on, NOBODY BUT SAFEWAY WILL GET MY BUSINESS!!“

“I had the pleasure of trying the lox bagel sandwich at Fairway Park Donut Shop, and I must say it was absolutely fantastic! This hidden gem of a place knows how to make a memorable sandwich. The lox was fresh and flavorful, perfectly paired with a soft, toasted bagel. The combination of cream cheese, capers, and red onions added just the right balance of flavors. It's a harmonious blend that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this place has got you covered. I can't wait to return to try more of their offerings. Fairway Park Donut Shop, you've won a fan in me with your delicious lox bagel sandwich. Highly recommended!“

“I wanted to try everything here! Had breakfast pastries, miso chicken bowl, desserts, and lattes and mochas on numerous occasions during my trip to the area. All were wonderful and tasted homemade. Egg tart was so smooth, flavorful, and not rubbery. I want to know their secret to this! My other favorite item is the walnut chocolate chip cookie. Omg so decadent!“

“I just went to sujues a few days back .I order my normal small or large iced Carmel macchiato with whip cream and extra Carmel .it is one of my favorite drinks when I go there .The people are kind at the cashier area .I sometimes tip here n there because I like there place .they have the food and snacks behind the glass which I can see clearly .There prices are a lil high but it's the bay area Ca .I might go back again tomorrow for another drink. Small is $5.75 and a large is $6.92.I wish they were only $4-$5 but that's the price we pay for the best weather state in America and in the west coast .“

“7.1/10 Sausage and Egg breakfast sandwich $9.50
A lot of bagel places have breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Their sandwiches are nothing special and overpriced like every other place
It's worth more to find a Noahs Bagels and get something with more in the bagel or sandwich for about the same price or a lil more
I wont be back here for any breakfast sandwich. They had a lot of options for shmears it probably would've been better just to get a bagel“

“The donuts and the people behind the counter are fabulous! the atmosphere... not so much.
The building needs a refresh, and the inside is a bit cluttered. They store things in areas that used to be intended for guests.
I think a bit of paint and reorganization would do it a lot of good!“

“So this is a small place. Food is good and served quick. Come in, sit down and order something fantastic.
I parked my emoto on the side of the building ( front) one entrance into the closed off path around the restaurant ( good bike parking) not for motorcycles ( too heavy and big) ,bicycles, ebikes and emotos are just fine.“

“Amy's is hands down the best breakfast joint in Hayward, hands down. The service is absolutely amazing every time we go (every other sunday for the last 3 years). They remember our names and our order preference, they even always remember to leave the powdered sugar off my pancakes whiteout me asking. The mood is wonderful, it's not loud inside, and they also have outdoor seating as well.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“I started going here like 4 months ago and I cannot stop coming back their sandwiches are so fresh and they have the softest rolls. I don't know what they put on it but it is very delicious and flavorful. Their service is very fast I go there all my lunch break and it doesn't take longer than 5 minutes. The staff is also very polite.“

“8-Twelve is a true neighborhood gem. It is the kind of place where kids can grab a snack and a fun drink for a reasonable price, and then just relax after school. Even though it is not as close to the middle or high school as some of the other hangouts, it has become one of our favorites.
I appreciate that it has lasted the test of time and I hope it continues to thrive. One of the best parts is that they offer non-caffeinated tea drinks for the kids, which is rare and so thoughtful.
8-Twelve has that welcoming vibe that makes it feel like part of the community.“

“Tasty fresh black coffee, peppery refried beans, and the right amount of crispy and soft machaca and eggs.
This quick stop turned into a wonderful family style diner where you can sit back and enjoy your meal and put down your phone for a little while.
The refried beans really tied my machaca plate together. The little bit of spiciness and black pepper pops and it reminded me of bean and cheese burritos growing up.
Stop in for fresh coffee and trust me on the frijoles.“
