“Good place for to-go sandwiches and coffee because the place is small. I got checkin Pesto and Cappuccino, and both were really good.

Parking: There are plenty of parking. However, I am not sure if you have to pay because most of the meters are not working.“

“I had a great conversation with a very friendly cashier, and the vibes of the place were amazing! The coffee isn’t expensive compared to other places, and there are so many unique options. I got the ether iced coffee, which is a darker toast, and it was phenomenal. There are a lot of spaces to sit there and do work/study, as well as a reading nook!“

“Cozy, family owned cafe, that I cannot recommend enough if you’re in town or passing through Lafayette. You will not find any place with better freshly baked scones on this side of the tunnel. They are baked every morning, and if you come in early enough, they might still be warm. Each batch comes out with the most perfect fluffy interior, with a crisp exterior crust. No hockey pucks here! The photo doesn’t do it justice because I couldn’t hold back eating it before posting. The chai tea is a house made blend, with all organic ingredients. Try it as a latte with a shot of espresso. It’s so much better than the chai syrup concentrated drink you get at Starbucks, and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. This is the best place to stop by before walking the reservoir, before/after your trader joe’s run, or to sit down and catch up with a friend over coffee or boba tea(also incredibly fresh and chewy boba). Not to mention, it’s a great study spot you can sit and study at all day. They now offer breakfast burritos and sandwiches, which makes this place even better than all the competing chain coffee shops in the area. The owner, Apple, is one of the hardest working people you will ever meet, and so kind and welcoming.“

“Food was good, all organic and made there. Restaurant was empty on a Saturday late morning. The server and the cook were friendly. A little odd that we were charged $3 for an extra plate to split a burger for my kid (apparently this is stated in the menu). Overall good but probably will not visit again.“

The owner was Very friendly and made my food exactly how I wanted it. I’ve been craving a chicken Caesar wrap for weeks and haven’t found one the way I like it and they did a perfect job. “My kiddos and I love this location. Staff members are friendly, place is clean and welcoming but best of all the boba is fresh and tasty. I love the match with the strawberry jam. Wish they had strawberry cold foam, but other than that this place is perfect!“

“I love that my work allows me to travel the bay and find awesome little lunch spots like this. I was met by extremely friendly staff who explained their menu a bit and also that they had been open for almost 3 years. I ordered a pancake breakfast and decided to try the cinnamon coffee which was wonderful change of pace for me. This would totally be a go to spot if I ever have business around here again. The neighbors are very lucky to have a wonderful Cafe like this nearby.“

“I am so grateful that we finally have a late night chai/street food spot in east bay. Chai & co located at 2115 Pacheco st, Concord is a wonderful addition! We had the anda-shami royale, samosa chaat, and fresh naan khatai from khalifa (if you know, you know). All items were excellent and authentic! The space is well decorated with board games available and most importantly clean! We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu!“

“Kava is a new thing for me. To be honest, I'm still not sure about the taste. But the culture here is amazing. I found myself having actually-delightful conversations with the folks around me, and my date and I really enjoyed being able to curl up on a convenient couch and chat just by ourselves, too. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and even gave us a few samples of things so we were able to follow along with our senses.“

“OMG, I think my sister and I just found our new favorite place! My sister was the one who discovered it, and the menu instantly caught our attention, so we had to try their drinks. We both ordered the Pandan Cream Cheese Thai Tea and were completely mind-blown by how delicious it was. I’ll admit, I struggled to choose because everything of their drinks and food looked so good. We were definitely not disappointed, and honestly, the drink might have been the star of our little fridate hangout!

“I catered a small surprise party from Toastique for my husband's 50th. The plans were last minute, but Linh was most helpful. She worked with me to sort through options, and helped me come up with a menu that worked well for a Sunday brunch. Loved the toasts we ordered (avo smash, greek and pb crunch) and the fresh juices were an absolute hit. The fruit platter was oh so good. Everything looked beautiful! Linh was very flexible and delivered on time.“

I usually go for their mocha which has a little less weight than other mochas but it seems lighter so I guess I’ll take that as a win

All their baked items are amazing and you will definitely balloon if you eat them all every day lol.

But seriously I’ve never had a strawberry and cream scone until this morning and I ate it so fast I could not even take a photo to put it up here. I can never have a scone at Starbucks ever again.

They have a six dollar breakfast sandwich, which is an English muffin with eggs, cheese, and a home made spread. You can add bacon or sausage if you want, but I usually don’t.

At some point, I’ll stop filling up on breakfast and bakery items and leave enough space to try their sandwiches and soups which I hear is excellent“

OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. “I saw the ratings and didn't know what to expect. Brought my family here to avoid the Berkely Parents' Weekend crowds. I was so pleasantly surprised the quality of the food and service. The roti is so fresh - perfectly crispy and chewy. The spices on the food and house coconut dipping sauce offered so much flavor - we were all blown away. Our kids loved the Thai Tea. “We stopped in at the recommendation of our local hosts. If you’re a Starbucks person or a cop, don’t come here. This is a real neighborhood cafe. The community is outstanding, the people are incredibly nice and social, and the chai I had was amazing. Vegan baked goods are also delicious. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Oakland!“

“What a gem! In the courtyard of the Anthropology Museum, you’ll find this charming oasis. Everything from the furniture, landscape, menu, and soundtrack are all thoughtfully procured. Afternoon tea consisted of 3 refreshing flavors of tea and 3 sweet dishes. The chia seed porridge was a generous portion with a delicious flavor profile as well as texture. The toasted hazelnuts added a tasty crunch. Blackberries and gooseberries were a nice palate cleanser, and the chia seed flour brownie bites were addictive! The black walnuts and coarse East Bay salt were a perfect combination! I’m thankful they don’t sell these individually otherwise I would be eating them daily. In bulk.Not only was the meal unique and delicious, we also learned some Ohlone history and words as well as heard some lovely songs and spoken word that were pre-recorded. It’s such a nice experience and so much more than just food and drinks!“
