“My favorite Italian sandwich place in the East Bay. They get busy at times, but it’s worth it. The food is good and they are consistent. Parking is easy on the side streets, but very limited in the front. There is a lot in the back too if needed.“

“We had food catered & delivered from them. All the food was authentic, super tasty, well packaged and presented. Everyone loved it & mentioned multiple times. I recommend them wholeheartedly. We ordered Chicken Curry, Dal Makhani, Paneer Veggie Sabji, Raita, Naan, Rice, Salad & Rose Kheer. Rose Kheer was so yummy. Chicken Curry tasted homemade Punjabi. It was delicious. Paneer Sabji & Daal were also very yummy. Spices were mild. You can't go wrong by ordering from them.“

“I had a great experience at this Thai restaurant. It has a nice cozy mom n’ pop atmosphere to it. Service was good, I ordered a cup of tom yum soup with a side of jasmine rice and it was very yummy. My friend who I went with is from Castro Valley and they always order the Pad Kee Mao. Super solid option if you’re craving noodles and a bit of spice! This is just my preference but I really liked how they used glass cups for water rather than plastic like how most restaurants use. The only thing that I wish they included on their menu is a papaya salad. I love papaya salad so I was a bit disappointed when I couldn’t find it on the menu. Overall, this was a solid Thai restaurant so I would recommend trying it and supporting their small business!“

We do always remove the fries in the gyros bc they're just a filler IMHO & I think they take away from the rest of the flavor. Better to add some cucumbers & olives instead. I did get an extra steak skewer on the side this time for my Dad & he was disappointed as it was VERY dry, that's why only 4 stars.“

“This is an amazing find in Castro Valley! We went there because we needed a place to have lunch. We were surprised with not only an amazing selection, but extremely welcoming, owner and servers, and the food! The food was incredible. They do not cater to American taste. This is the real thing. The vegetables with tofu sauce were incredible as was the pork and everything else we had the dessert of tofu with mantis or ginger is a must. Highly recommend!!“

“One of our go-to places with super friendly staff which always goes the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, seen and appreciated.

The Food - especially their Dinner Special - is great, portion sizes just right, different options and still assembled and delivered to the table within minutes of ordering. And both Nigiri and Sashimi have sizable chunks of Fish and well prepared!

Kid-friendliness: Servers interact wonderfully with the kids, recommending suitable food and engaging with them in conversations. There are often families with Kids here, a testament to their appeal.“

“We have been twice fist just my husband and I. The next day there was 6 of us. Food is good does lack a little flavor. When it says with sour cream it is less then a tsp. Constantly having to ask for coffee refills, and for breakfast I feel quick refills are a must. Food did come out really quick and hot, despite how busy it was. Patio seating was more like musical chairs as everyone kept moving tables due to the sun being in your face and umbrella coverage not great. Overall I would recommend this place, but they definitely have room for improvement. None of the staff looked happy or smiled. I didn't drink but the cocktails were nice looking and they did enjoy them.“

“Do yourself a favor and get their chimichurri steak wrap with guacamole. Bursting with flavor and veggies, they made it super quickly and it was still pleasantly warm when I got to my classes. The atmosphere is quirky in a good way- reminds me of classic Berkeley restaurants. Can't wait to try their coffee smoothie.“

“They expanded their menu. Great Korean dishes as well as Japanese sushi roll. This place is great quality and probably the best priced compared to neighboring sushi restaurants. Their Korean BBQ plate is better than Mama Cho's that used to be in Castro Valley. This is the only good Korean food restaurant in Castro Valley. The sushi rolls are wonderful as well as their ramen. This place is a must try.“
