“My Castro Valley Nation’s is great. I walked in for dinner and was greeted by Alejandra. She took my order correctly and asked if I wanted pie (very tempting). As I waited I watched Alejandra work. She pleasantly said goodbye to her colleague and took up her cooking station after she put on gloves. The phone would ring and she’d take orders, more customers were dropping in, and online orders were coming too. All along, she was patient, pleasant, efficient, calm, and sweet. I realized they were short staffed and she was stepping up as a hard worker. I haven’t seen that dedication in a long time. She was helping her colleague as her job became chaotic, as a team and a friend. It made me feel so good that there are people like her! Thank you.“
“This spot is my favorite burger joint. I usually get their regular cheese burger which is a giant burger, 1/3 lb of beef(I believe) with two slices of cheese, also fries and onion rings, and sometimes a chocolate shake. The food and service here are great! They always seem to greet me very kindly, which is a big plus.“

“The husband and I enjoy the burgers and sides at Habit Burger. The onions rings are yummy (hint- order them extra crispy) and their ranch dressing is great. Ordering on the app is nice because you can just walk in and pick up your items- just make sure to double check your order is right before leaving. Sometimes my ranch is missing which isn't a big deal but I really like it so I am sad when it isn't in the bag. They have good seasonal offerings- please bring back the asparagus salad! The patty melt I had recently is delicious as well and it is going to be gone soon. Great customer service and the store is always clean. I would give them five stars if they brought that delicious salad back!“
“One of the better Burger Kings I have been to. Food was filling and warm. Drinks were cold and thirst-quenching. With the app, prices were good and competitive. A gourmet meal it is not but for some good filling foods and drinks, it was great.“

“We desperately needed a place for the kids to play while on a long drive due to a family emergency. The play place was clean and in good repair. The kids had a blast and it was just what they needed after being in the car so long.The food was ok, I mean it's McDonald's. The workers were efficient. “The drive-thru was prompt, the food was excellent, and the service was good. My only quibble is that so much of the listed menu had signs on it saying the items were out of stock. As far as the franchise goes, this is one of my favorite locations because of its 24/7 hours of operation and the fact that they don't make me wait elsewhere to get my food when I order at the drive-thru like the Hayward location on Mission Blvd does.“
“This McDonald’s is our Saturday go-to, not for the gourmet (ahem) fries, but for the kid-tastic play place. It’s like a mini Disneyland, minus the long lines and overpriced souvenirs. Recently, they’ve hired a cleaning wizard, who’s always zapping away germs in the play area - a real-life superhero with a mop! The fries? Well, they’re like vintage wine if the wine were a bit… stale. But who cares? The kids are too busy making pals and pretending to be lava-monsters. It’s a win-win: they play, I get to chill with my laptop, pretending to work while actually watching cat videos. Plus, with Mr. Clean on patrol, it’s like dining in a bubble of sparkliness! “Castro valley does not lack for burger places. Since Val's has remained on such limited hours, this is the next best. They will let you have your burger rare and that is how ours came The patty is pretty thin but it was good They have lots of ideas for fixings-- various cheeses toppings dressings etc Chicken sandwich did the job. The salad was surprisingly ok. Lots of stuff on it. It's still a bottled dressjng but that's ok for this kind of place and I don't know if better salads in castro valley ( sad but true) It would be nice if the cashier knew what dressings are recommended for what salads.
