Moving up the star rating because we moved back to the area and this has become one of our go to spots. Still loving the grilled cheese after all these years. Onion rings are delicious and we always try to check out the pie of the month- French apple January 2024 if you are interested. Service is still great and the people are friendly. We will continue to enjoy this spot. Burgers are consistently juicy and I like that I can order online and typically pick up in less than 20 minutes.
I ordered the bacon cheese burger and chili fries, the burger was ok, but the chili fries was terrible, they put 2 slices of cheese that didn't even melt, the chili was cold and the fries were old.

My Castro Valley Nation’s is great. I walked in for dinner and was greeted by Alejandra. She took my order correctly and asked if I wanted pie (very tempting). As I waited I watched Alejandra work. She pleasantly said goodbye to her colleague and took up her cooking station after she put on gloves.
