“Best burgers in the Bay Area! Super nice and humble store owners. Thank you so much for treating me and my family, like family! I’ve been coming here since I was 10 yrs old. ( now in my 20’s). Yesterday me and my boyfriend dinned in and the cook hooked it up with some homemade salsa and jalapeños. Thank you so much! This is a MUST try burger place!“

“I haven't been to Wendy's in a long time so I was surprised to see the hamburgers were tiny, the little pieces of bacon were paper thin (I really had to look to find them and didn't taste them at all) and the frosties were not the same frozen treats that took forever to thaw. That's being said, I don't think that's a reflection on the staff who did their job professionally but I don't think I'll be spending my $40 at Wendy's again any time soon“

“I haven’t had a milkshake at Jack in a box for many years . They used to be so good but the one I got today wasn’t good at all. When I tried to drink it nothing would come up in the straw. I took the straw out and sucked the whip cream put . Put it back in and still no ice cream . I got vanilla and I never even tasted vanilla . All it tasted like was whip cream and it wasn’t a good taste . So I paid over $5.00 for a shake with hardly any ice cream in it . If I ever get a shake there again I will ask for no whip cream .“

“Came here twice so far. First time it was great. Second time I came on my birthday and the owner gave me extra chicken pieces. She is so sweet and kind. The bulgogi burger was tender and juicy. I loved that there were fermented onions in it. And the vanilla milkshake was creamy and honestly gives the In and Out milkshakes a run for their money. Hard to pick which one is my favorite.

“Went for dinner on Wednesday night, party of 3. Had burgers, salads, fries and onion rings. Food came quickly and was hot, fresh and very flavorful. The person who took our order ( counter service) was energetic and friendly. After we got our food, she came to check on us and refilled our drinks. Great experience!“

“Good place to get a solid burger and breakfast. What makes this place stand out is Angel who is the manager. He is able to handle a long line of customers with minimal help. Always cooks the food consistently so you know what to expect. Has a good personality that is friendly, calm and efficient.

What Nations management can do to improve is to make sure he has adequate staff so he isn't overworked. It's sad to see him working all the time and sometimes with only 1 person or by himself. When I randomly go, this guy seems to be here all the time day and night.

The thing with Nations is that there is barely any marketing. If a store opened would have no idea and if Nations went bankrupt or closed, wouldn't know either. Also the prices are pretty high for what you get and there isn't a wow factor with Nations food. Pies are probably the best thing though.“

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.“

The menu has evolved to include salads (like teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon)and some healthier options like quinoa bowls. That said, I still love their bacon cheeseburgers, various fries and tempura zucchini/mushrooms. If you like matcha, the milkshake is a creamy delight!“

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

“The people working there were really nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese & fries. A little over $6 -not bad these days. And they were good, too. Atmosphere is not great -it’s right across from the Coliseum BART station -but it’s the only place in the immediate vicinity. I was running late to a NIN concert so hadn’t had time to grab something beforehand. There are only two sidewalk tables, so I sat on the fire hydrant. Perfectly fine for a quick bite before a show. They also have a really large menu. I’d stop by again.“

“Parking was tighter on this sunny Saturday afternoon, but didn't wait long. They have a parking lot but it seemed people were taking advantage in this busy neighborhood adjacent to Lake Merritt. There is no seating inside at the moment and a couple tables outside, with a walk-up window for food orders. I opted for the double cheese burger, onion rings and a banana+chocolate shake. It was ready fast, about 5 minutes! I always eat the fried food first, so onion rings were still hot. They use a delicious onion ring batter with a nice crunch that doesn't end up all over the place. A dipping sauce would be amazing but ketchup was good enough. The burger was solid, substantial but not fussy. The shake was great, thick and tasty. I love that they have so many great shake flavors. The price for the double cheeseburger is slightly higher than I'd like and there wasn't a 'combo' which is usually a better value. I am not blind to the current price of food and everything else, so I was more than willing to support a local mom'n'pop. Good food and happy that I live nearby for future visits.“

The fries & milk shakes are great too. The only down fall are take-out & cash only. Is not a problem for local, but people who travels might be tougher for them. They might want to wash their hands or use the restroom.“

“I just came to this restaurant for lunch and everything was amazing! The food was so delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the customer service.
