“Best burgers in the Bay Area! Super nice and humble store owners. Thank you so much for treating me and my family, like family! I’ve been coming here since I was 10 yrs old. ( now in my 20’s). Yesterday me and my boyfriend dinned in and the cook hooked it up with some homemade salsa and jalapeños. Thank you so much! This is a MUST try burger place!“

“I haven't been to Wendy's in a long time so I was surprised to see the hamburgers were tiny, the little pieces of bacon were paper thin (I really had to look to find them and didn't taste them at all) and the frosties were not the same frozen treats that took forever to thaw. That's being said, I don't think that's a reflection on the staff who did their job professionally but I don't think I'll be spending my $40 at Wendy's again any time soon“

“I haven’t had a milkshake at Jack in a box for many years . They used to be so good but the one I got today wasn’t good at all. When I tried to drink it nothing would come up in the straw. I took the straw out and sucked the whip cream put . Put it back in and still no ice cream . I got vanilla and I never even tasted vanilla . All it tasted like was whip cream and it wasn’t a good taste . So I paid over $5.00 for a shake with hardly any ice cream in it . If I ever get a shake there again I will ask for no whip cream .“

“Came here twice so far. First time it was great. Second time I came on my birthday and the owner gave me extra chicken pieces. She is so sweet and kind. The bulgogi burger was tender and juicy. I loved that there were fermented onions in it. And the vanilla milkshake was creamy and honestly gives the In and Out milkshakes a run for their money. Hard to pick which one is my favorite.

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.“

“Just go! There's a parking lot so you won't need to circle to find a spot. The food is INCREDIBLE!
And they have a little hidden oasis in the back where one can eat a crazy good burger & spiced fries.
It's the little things that matter - the special sauce, the sink in the back where we could wash our hands before / after eating, and the incredible service & smiles we received when we walked in. We'll be back anytime we are in the neighborhood!!“

“Sparkys has been in existence since I moved into this area over 40 years ago. The menu has evolved to include salads (like teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon)and some healthier options like quinoa bowls. That said, I still love their bacon cheeseburgers, various fries and tempura zucchini/mushrooms. If you like matcha, the milkshake is a creamy delight!“

“Rocky's has been a great place to enjoy for quite a long time. I have enjoyed many different burgers here but I do love the western style with onion rings and bacon and cheese and of course barbecue sauce. I have been here after trips to the Oakland zoo. I have been here with family members that decided to meet here for a great burger and some fries. I've also been here with just a minimal amount of money in my pocket to enjoy a burger and some comfort close to my home neighborhood off of Davis Street. I have to say this place is a hidden gem and if you know it's worth it to go and have a nice burger the way you like it and enjoy your time in San Leandro. It is close to St. Leander's if you are headed there, but it's also really close to most of downtown San Leandro within walking distance which is really enjoyable if you're looking to go up and down East 14th and enjoy all the different businesses of San Leandro has to offer. I really enjoy this place for the flavor and the burgers the way that they're dressed and the size that you can have. It is definitely worth a try.“

“Fast, friendly, hot, and good. Hard qualities to find. I got the single cheeseburger with grilled onion. Little to much mayo for me but it was good, fries were piping hot and there was alot of them. Top it off with a pineapple shake they was very good. Great find will be back.“

“The people working there were really nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese & fries. A little over $6 -not bad these days. And they were good, too. Atmosphere is not great -it’s right across from the Coliseum BART station -but it’s the only place in the immediate vicinity. I was running late to a NIN concert so hadn’t had time to grab something beforehand. There are only two sidewalk tables, so I sat on the fire hydrant. Perfectly fine for a quick bite before a show. They also have a really large menu. I’d stop by again.“

“Where do I even begin, this diner has always had a special place in my heart. I say that because once I walked 3 hours to get here and back. Not only that but their breakfast special made it worth it. I’m also thankful that I get to take my dad here for brunch. My favorite breakfast item has to be the ‘love me tender’. Their chicken fried steak is to die for. Not only that but their burgers are especially delicious. I love the Jalapeño cheddar burger myself.Given the prices now of fast food now this Diner’s food is even more justifiable. Given the fact they’re very generous with their portions especially to regular customers which I have honor of becoming. I’d recommend this place in a jury of my peers. Or just in passing.“

“One of the best burgers ever had in my life. Forget about In & Out Burgers. Be very honest, Val's burgers are pricey, but well worth it. If you like Super Duper burgers 🍔 😋, these might beat them. The fries & milk shakes are great too. The only down fall are take-out & cash only. Is not a problem for local, but people who travels might be tougher for them. They might want to wash their hands or use the restroom.“
