“I haven't been to Wendy's in a long time so I was surprised to see the hamburgers were tiny, the little pieces of bacon were paper thin (I really had to look to find them and didn't taste them at all) and the frosties were not the same frozen treats that took forever to thaw. That's being said, I don't think that's a reflection on the staff who did their job professionally but I don't think I'll be spending my $40 at Wendy's again any time soon“

“I haven’t had a milkshake at Jack in a box for many years . They used to be so good but the one I got today wasn’t good at all. When I tried to drink it nothing would come up in the straw. I took the straw out and sucked the whip cream put . Put it back in and still no ice cream . I got vanilla and I never even tasted vanilla . All it tasted like was whip cream and it wasn’t a good taste . So I paid over $5.00 for a shake with hardly any ice cream in it . If I ever get a shake there again I will ask for no whip cream .“

“The burger is absolutely phenomenal! It was so fresh! The portion was good too, as the burger was not too big, but still very filling! I got their original double burger to be safe. I will definately come back for a signature when I’m in the area! Perfect size and amazing flavor!

I loved pairing it with ketchup and mustard! Wish for condiments they had relish and Korean bbq sauce too!
Also wish the had sweet potato fries!

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

I have enjoyed many different burgers here but I do love the western style with onion rings and bacon and cheese and of course barbecue sauce. I have been here after trips to the Oakland zoo. I have been here with family members that decided to meet here for a great burger and some fries. I've also been here with just a minimal amount of money in my pocket to enjoy a burger and some comfort close to my home neighborhood off of Davis Street. I have to say this place is a hidden gem and if you know it's worth it to go and have a nice burger the way you like it and enjoy your time in San Leandro. It is close to St. Leander's if you are headed there, but it's also really close to most of downtown San Leandro within walking distance which is really enjoyable if you're looking to go up and down East 14th and enjoy all the different businesses of San Leandro has to offer. I really enjoy this place for the flavor and the burgers the way that they're dressed and the size that you can have. It is definitely worth a try.“

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.“

BY the standards that In N out sets, of which the bar is EXTREMELY high, this particular In n Out is, in my not very humble opinion, without the shadow of a doubt, most definitely, absolutely, and consistently, at the very least, in the TOP 3 NATIONWIDE!!! OMG! How are they so efficient with their drive thru, at the same time as their indoor service. And the workers? Top-notch!! Bathrooms are clean! These guys must be making Billions per year at this location alone! I love it!!“

“Came here on a whim after some golf with a friend. One of the best gyros I have had in years! Really kind and attentive staff as well. I would not hesitate to go back if I am in the area again.
Seating is a little sparse and the layout is a little cramped, but absolutely delicious food and really friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for some great lunch.“

And they have a little hidden oasis in the back where one can eat a crazy good burger & spiced fries.

“Sparkys has been in existence since I moved into this area over 40 years ago. The menu has evolved to include salads (like teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon)and some healthier options like quinoa bowls. That said, I still love their bacon cheeseburgers, various fries and tempura zucchini/mushrooms. If you like matcha, the milkshake is a creamy delight!“

Atmosphere is not great -it’s right across from the Coliseum BART station -but it’s the only place in the immediate vicinity. I was running late to a NIN concert so hadn’t had time to grab something beforehand. There are only two sidewalk tables, so I sat on the fire hydrant. Perfectly fine for a quick bite before a show. “Val's used to be a regular spot for me when I lived in the Bay Area. Even managed to make a visit or two since I moved out of the area.

However, it seems the absurdity and stupidity of COVID has taken its toll on this establishment. Where as it used to be a line out the door and a fantastic atmosphere, the destructive rules of COVID, and especially governor newsome's hipocracy forced this age old family owned and operated business into hard times. They have embraced true American spirit, and are still open, although fighting to survive.

It's only burgers (their bread and butter), and only take out. Please locals, and visitors... Go get the world's best burger. 1/2 lb and 1 lb being served, (my personal feelings) Let's get this business back up and a line out the door again.
