Stopped by without realizing happy hour had just started.
* I ordered the sangria, buffalo cauliflower, and mac and cheese and was really happy with my choices. The only negative was waiting about half an hour for the food, but the views and sangria make this a great happy-hour spot.
The patio has great views of Lake Merritt, which made the whole experience that much better.

This is a very nice place, everyone is very kind! there didn't seem to be any wait for small parties, or medium parties, we sat in the outdoor area, there are windows to the street and a flexible roof with lights all around, staff were very nice, we paid 15.95 for a Portal burger and 3.75 for a very sizeable one-person portion of chilli lime fries, which tasted awesome, with great flavor chipotle aioli sauce on the side. Was def umamimaxxing here. The pistachio crumble cheesecake was arguably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. There were so many layers to it, both in flavor and texture: creamy and nutty, floral and slightly savory, sweet with a slight tang(the yogurt base).
