Scolari's Good Eats is a take-out spot with a shared bar area next door and picnic benches outside. The atmosphere might not be the best, but the food is awesome. The Good ol Boy Chicken sandwich is tender and flavorful, while the Scampi fries are fantastic. The Blueberry Bacon Blue Cheese Au Poivre burger is a must-try. The food truck at Almanac Brewery in Alameda offers excellent, juicy burgers, although they can be a bit messy to eat. The chicken salad is fresh, but the fries are a bit too salty. Despite the long wait times at the food truck, the delicious food makes it worth a visit. Located on the corner of Park St. and Encinal Ave., Scolari's is not to be missed among the lively eatery and drinkery places in the area.
