“This place is great, they got nice coffee and really good empanadas, The staff is friendly and service is fast. A must try if you are in the area. They offer non-dairy alternatives for your drinks. Parking can be challenging, but that's almost expected since it's next to trader Joe's.“
“Love this place. The manager is very nice. They're one of a few places that still make frozen banana dipped in chocolate and nuts. They also make excellent pies, especially mud pies. They have delicious assortment of chocolate. They even have sugar free chocolate. Must try if you haven't had it. ‼ They'll be close for renovation from Xmas till March 2024. I ordered my mudpie for Xmas dessert. Not sure what I'm going to do with them closed for 3 months.“
“My friends and I bike here a lot, and for a good reason! The popcorn chicken is amazing, and they've got wonderful drink customization as well. One thing I recently found out was their seating in the back, which is so cute! Very quick service and wonderful staff. They did not get annoyed by us rowdy teenagers!“
“Ordered a chocolate Oreo mochi donut and a Crème brûlée boba milk tea.The mochi donut was decent quality and very presentable but the flavor and “mochi” parts just were not there. Top top that off, they don’t carry just a plain mochi donut, which is what I really wanted. The price at $3 is reasonable for this type of donut. The crème brûlée milk tea was quite delicious and I would definitely order it again. Keep in mind that this drink is sweet! They pre-adjust sweetness due to the cream so I could not order less sweetness. You are not allowed to make adjustments to the drink, as noted on the board. I appreciate that my receipt indicates that organic milk was used. The price at $7.25 seemed a bit expensive for a 16 ounce milk tea, but it wouldn’t stop me from ordering it again. This shopping center is typically always busy and parking can be challenging, but doable. The restaurant had several tables to sit at but the atmosphere could be more inviting. The girl that took and prepared my order was nice and professional.“
“Yummy bubble tea! So many bubble tea options it’s kind of overwhelming and not sure where to start. Overall it was really good. Will come back againGot basil popcorn chicken. I think I have tried better, it’s a bit too much flour/dry in my opinion.“
“So far so good! Both dine in And take out are great the coffee is always hot. They always have lavender syrup even if it's not on the menu. I get it in a latte. I also like the Maple scone. They heated up just right. the free WIFi always works.“
“Cool little coffee shop kind of outta the way. The people working there don't know if they were the owners or not but the customer service was up there for a coffee shop got a large caramel macchiato which was delicious and a jalapeno cheddar bagel with cream cheese could have been more cream cheese on the bagel but not going to complain it was good.“
“It's a Great Place to visit from Time to Time for a Treat from the Daily Grind. The Parking is Very Tight SO Please be Prepared to squeeze in at a moments notice. The inside is very Clean & well kept with comfortable seats around. Prices have increased & the Many Products size has been considerably reduced, like for example a Simple Scone use to be Palm sized & Now they are a tiny Triangle 2 small bite size. :))“
“Classic coffee place: this is a staple of the community in Castro Valley and has been there for many years. When there are so many corporate options to choose from, this place offers an alternative: have something local. It is well worth the visit if you are looking for a coffee spot to enjoy a pleasant morning with some friends away from the busy corporate business.“
“Cafe 4 has such great views and space to work. I often work from home so I lose out on the sense of community vibe. I go to Cafe 4 to work on my laptop and grab my cup of dark mocha or vanilla chai. It's nice to see the view and chit chat with other folks working or just chilling at the cafe. During the holidays the three crosses church have a Christmas event for the month of December with local food trucks, shops, ice skating, and a train (free!). We go multiple times and stop by the cafe for warm drinks and their amazing fresh ginger bread cookies. It feels magical with their Christmas decor and we just love coming back.“
