“General poor service. Milk purchased here often goes bad within three days and long before the expiration date. Manager wasn't interested in why. All kinds of water on the floors from refrigerator and freezer leaks. I tried complaining to corporate but no interest. Out of stock on about 15% of the items I needed but that may be common now days.

I wanted to update my review. I'm happy to say that things have improved at this store. The staff seems more helpful and even a bit happier. They seem to have things in stock now and all the refrigerator and freezer leaks seem to be repaired. I think they put some investment back into the store. Changing my rating from 2 to 4.“

“This is an amazing cafe/viennoiserie. It’s small and unassuming, in a non trendy location. If it was in SF, lines will be out the door. For me, it blew Tartine out of the water. Food reviews are subjective in its nature and although some might disagree with that, you will know immediately this place is serious about their craft.

Orange and vanilla lattes are amazing. Regular latte is also very rich and dense in the best way possible. Orange latte is out sometimes, but I highly recommend you come back and try it.

I tried several pastries here and all were buttery, flaky, luxurious goodness. Black sesame Onigiri and strawberry moon were excellent. I thought there weren’t a lot of chocolate in chocolate croissant but somehow it was right amount once I tasted it. It’s also relaxing to watch barista going through rituals of espresso making without rush you see in most coffee shops.

I’m kinda impressed about this place. I was excited to come and try and it exceeded my expectations. I come here regularly now.“

“This place has seriously blown up lately. The fish and chicken sandwich are both really good, but personally I don’t think they’re worth waiting more than 15 minutes for. Your best bet is going early in the morning or closer to closing, and I’d definitely try to avoid weekends if possible because the lines can get wild.

A good rule of thumb: if the line starts around the door, you’re probably looking at about a 15-minute wait. If the line starts stretching toward the other stores nearby, you’re looking closer to a 45-minute to 1-hour wait. At the peak of the hype, I know some people were waiting over 1–2 hours, which is honestly wild. Thankfully, it does seem a little better now that the hype has died down a bit.

What I really love here though is the pineapple bun with butter. Honestly, I think it’s the best one I’ve had in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, because the lines have been ridiculously long the last couple of months, I haven’t been able to grab one lately. By the time I go closer to closing, they’re usually sold out.“

It’s one of the few true gourmet donut shops in the San Francisco Bay Area, which makes it feel extra special. That said, they are definitely on the pricey side. While the quality and creativity are impressive, be prepared to pay a premium.

San Ramon is lucky to have them at the farmers market. If you can, eat it warm while sitting in the shade at City Center. Trust me, it’s worth slowing down for.“

“It's a place of it all, sweet breads and mexican food too. Sometimes you can buy bread from them at a low price. There's a lot of options for the sweet bread though, sometimes with jelly, some with a whole lot of sugar, which are my favorites. The staff don't walk around, you just order, they give you your bread and you're out. Easy, but if you order genuine food, it'll take around 7 minutes for them to serve a basic meal. They have a lot of options for a bakery. And their cakes look nice, I've never eaten one but they have some for display and they look pleasing. Overall, 4 for me, I love going there for either bread, food or ordering some bread to eat at home with things like beans.“

Victor’s cheesecakes are like a cheesecake became the queen of England but it never lost its cool and warmth of a regular person! You still have the cheesecake, the smooth cheese taste and texture we all love but then the cheesecake gets so refined by the flavors that it comes in that you just have to stop after every bite and really taste the bouquet of flavor and sweetness that just makes you sit down and really enjoy it! If Victor lived next to me, I would be 500 lbs! I have loved every flavor I tried but my favorite is definitely hands down ube, and apple, and peach, and pineapple! Never mind, I can’t choose one! They are all to die for! Amen!“

The ordering window is just an open door on the side of the building,just look at where people are lining up. The prices has slowly gone up over the years but its still worth it. 2 dollars for a huge croissant that tastes this amazing is a steal. “i'm just a girl but this cake is so pretty to not post!! i've been ordering birthday cakes from this place for a few years now for my family, and asked to place an order for a mixed fruit n cream cake! initially, i ordered writing on it as it was a thank you cake, but i ended up finding out last minute that i couldn't give the cake to the recipient. but, that was completely okay, because my bday was coming up so this ended up being my bday cake. i can't complain because it came out absolutely gorgeous :') i've never received macarons or sprinkles on my cakes from ladyfingers, but this nice touch was so lovely. i also love the peekaboo piping on the cake, its so cute. “Dennis, the owner, is awesome. Great selection of bakery pastries like scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. He also has freshly baked French bread and dinner rolls. I personally go there for some coffee and a breakfast croissant, along with some French bread for dinner. Prices are way more affordable than the lee’s next door.
