“The food is good and the service is pretty fast. You have to order food and then the food is brought out to you. We tried the kalua pork hash, ube latte and mochiko chicken and pandan waffle. The food was very tasty. The mochiko chicken was perfectly crispy and the waffle has a great pandan flavor as well. We were not a huge fan of the ube latte, you can't really taste the ube.“
“Karin's baked goods are delicious! We go to her stand at the Menlo Park farmers market nearly every Sunday. We love the mixed fruit scones, the fruit cobbler, the flourless chocolate cake (it's amazing with raspberries on top). Really, everything is just great! It is the perfect bakery.“
“Food is always tasty and I love their ingredients. The pepperoni crisps to perfection. I have always like the dough at mountain mikes and feel like I get a quality, consistent pizza every time. Prices are a little steep but that's what pizza costs nowadays! Sometimes the wait times can be a little long but it's worth the wait. They also have a yummy cinnamon dessert pizza. “My daughter and I walked into such a great bakery. The ambiance was amazing and the customer service was great. We met the owner and couldn’t believe how young he was. Tried the burnt almond cupcake and ordered a cake for the bridal shower. Overall wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.“

The chive savory malasadas was to die for. Their service is amazing and patient. The line does get wild. They do run out of donuts.“
“Don’t be fooled by the outside of this place. It’s in a strip mall, but the food is DELICIOUS. Super fresh ingredients and loved the flavors. I had the Chicken Tikka Sandwich and my wife had the Reuben Sandwich, both were super delicious. Pasta salad had blueberries, beets and other yummy ingredients and was great too. Super friendly staff.“
“I ordered a birthday cake for my 3 year old from here and I wish I had known about this place sooner. The design was SPOT on, executed perfectly, the cake itself was maybe the best cake I’ve ever had (and I do not like cake), the frosting was not too sweet, and the service was great.I have never seen my family and friends eat cake like this before. I’ve spent hundreds on beautiful but inedible cakes. Never again.I cannot recommend this place enough and will use them exclusively for all my baked good needs!!“
“Cute little bakery, and the cupcakes are amazing! I have never tasted better. The 'better for you' cupcakes use almond flour, less sugar, and taste better than traditional cupcakes. It is a nice place to sit and enjoy a conversation. The owner is very cheerful and friendly.“
“I love this place! The guy always behind the counter is super friendly & helpful. And his wife definitely knows how to bake. I’ve never had anything but yummy here. Especially the cream puffs! They also bake their own Persian bread, which is incredibly hard to find in the East Bay. Highly recommend don’t listen to crazy bitter customers =)“
“This place is amazing! The pastries are so good, the bread has a perfect balance and crumb. I love that the sugar level in the breads is lower than store bought. I buy all my bread there now. Everyday of the week is a different bread feature. The Tuesday bread is perfect for sandwiches and the Sunday bread is perfect for French toast!! The servers are always polite and don’t mind my mispronunciation of the pastries every time. Thank you so much for being here in Castro Valley!!“
