“Another last minute dinner at one of the local restaurant in San Ramon. Senri Sushi has that cozy, neighborhood spot vibe that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s not flashy, but that’s part of the charm, simple, welcoming, and focused on good food.

We ordered the crispy assorted tempura, which came out light, golden, and not greasy at all. Each piece had a nice crunch without overpowering the ingredients. The highlight, though, was the large sushi boat loaded with a variety of fresh fish. Everything looked beautifully presented and tasted just as good, clean flavors, soft texture, and high-quality cuts.

The soft shell crab was another standout—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of dish you keep reaching for until it’s gone.

We also tried the crispy salmon. The flavor was there, but it could’ve used a bit more crispiness, as the texture leaned slightly chewy instead of having that satisfying crunch you’d expect.

Overall, Senro Sushi delivers a satisfying experience with fresh seafood, generous portions, and a relaxed, homey atmosphere. A solid go-to spot if you’re in the area and craving dependable, well-made sushi.“

First off the food is top notch it’s so delicious and creative. There has not been a meal that has not been amazing. Mary herself is an amazing top notch person who goes the extra mile to alter the menu to your needs. She offers so many options to help cater to her customers. I wish her and her business the absolute best. “What a cute place with great food and atmosphere. Located in walnut creek this little gem of a spot is definitely on our come back to list. Our server was polite and well informed giving great suggestions when asked what should not be missed. Boy he did not steer us wrong. We really enjoyed the Lechon , pork belly with delicious pickled red onion..served on rice bites. Also the sea bass was very much enjoyed. We did start with the wedge salad with amazing blue cheese , very nice. Finished our lunch with some vanilla gelato Affogato...our server was attentive and friendly

“So many awesome Russian goods to buy at Babushka Market and Deli! Finally got to try their Piroskis, but they were running out already at noon. They didn't have the Beef & Chedder & Jalapeno so I changed my order to the Beef & Mushroom which was still good. They can heat it up for you if you will eat it right away, or you can take it home and heat it up when you are ready to eat it! Also tried the strawberry cake, the worker said it was her favorite cake. It was good, but wayyyyy too sweet. If you don't want a super sweet cake, the strawberry cake is NOT for you!“

Of course the butter croissants, American butter or French butter, is the best you'll find in the East Bay.

The tiny round pastries with the dab of jelly in them are super good, very sweet, but super good.

Always a line to get in. Only three or four people can fit inside at a time to order.

A little inconsistent, one day the croissant was dry and crispy a third of the way in. Most other times they are very moist and just the outer layer crispy, so if it doesn't seem the best you've ever had one day come back another day and it will be.“

“I went for my monthly turkey dip again last night. Once again the French fries were perfect, the dip was giant and the au jus was piping hot. The multiple screens all had different sports, so I could watch spring training baseball while my dad could watch his thing, ( I don't much pay attention once I focus). The service is impressive! There were only three of them, including the bartender, and we had everything we needed before we knew we needed it. Love these guys and I look forward to seeing them next month.“

“I really like Pancoast. Wife is a newyorker and Pancoast’s pizza style is right up her alley. They have 4 tap beers and they’re some of the best in Norcal - nice to see somebody cares about great beer. I order to go, get a beer at the bar, and take home. They’re seemingly busy all the time so Pancoast has a following.

Parking sucks, they have to share with their neighboring businesses so plan to get a spot on the street.“
