“This was our first time. Food was authentic Northern Italian. My family are from Le Marche’. The pizza & polla Parmagano was loved by our teenagers. And the Gnocchi was cooked to order per my request. Definitely adding this to my top 3 restaurants“

“I come here 2 times a week. The staff is great!! Milly also knows my kids have a dairy allergy, so he always makes sure the drinks are made properly.

The quality of the macha is unmatched. It is whisked properly for each ordered drink.

The macha donuts are delicious and have a few great flavors.

I also have to give credit to the staff when they are busy and short handed. The staff has always kept their cool and balance taking orders and making them.“

Black Cod was okay, my husband enjoyed it. The cod was cooked perfectly and the potato cake had just enough crunch on the outside nice and moist on the inside. Beautiful dish 🙂
Waygu beef va de vi burger was “okay” the brioche bun that it was served on was saturated with butter and it wasn’t the freshest as it crumbled when I cut it in half.
Brussel sprouts were very good flavored with bacon, walnuts and lemon, absolutely delicious 🙂“

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did. The food was very fresh and delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality. The braised lamb sandwich had soft flatbread, crunchy herbs and vegetables, a tangy sauce, and perfectly tender lamb. The service was friendly, warm, and the food came out quickly. Fava is a lovely lunch spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant lunch in North Berkeley.“

“I am slowly working my way through the whole menu the sea bass was excellent today so was the salmon my friend enjoyed I've had the braised beef and we both had the chicken tenders we will continue to enjoy what is offer especially those new items that just came in. chef Raul and the crew know what they're doing very lovely outing every time“

“Both hands up for this wonderful coffee place I happened to stumble upon, right outside the skirts of Downtown Berkeley. They're located right on the intersection of MLK and University, right behind the Indian restaurant.

This coffee place is honestly a little bit small, so please proceed with caution at all costs. But it really makes you feel cozy at home. They do have upstairs seating, but rather really limited. It will be full at times, and at times, not at all. It depends on the time that you go.

They have a wide assortment of sweet and savory pastries available as well. I got their ham & cheese scone, as well as their speciality drink, their banana cream iced coffee. I love how balanced their iced coffee is with the banana cream, which surprisingly, is made with ACTUAL banana puree made from actual bananas.

The barista who made my drink was very nice and very chill, and served it rather quick. That's what's up!

A wide selection of amazing-looking salads to mix and match; I got one with figs, fennel, and goat cheese and one with sweet potatoes and roasted tomatoes, and both were super-good. The salads come with rice and arugula, and you can add extra proteins if you want. Very enjoyable — I’ll be back!“

“This place is the best! All of their pretzels are delicious and inventive (Meyer lemon filling? Lox dill & capers so good you'll laugh at Boichik? Check!). They also have Obatzda, which few people here know. Uli and Sabine are super nice, as is all the staff there. They do a monthly pretzel class that is a lot of fun and will fill send you home with plenty of baked goodies.

“We had a delicious lunch! The vegetable and potato momos were amazing so light and fresh that you don't leave feeling weighed down. We also loved the hand-pulled noodles; you can really taste how fresh they are. For the appetizer, we tried the stuffed eggplant wrapped in a garbanzo bean flour crust. It was really interesting because you couldn't even taste the eggplant! Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for fresh, healthy food that nourishes you. Plus, the owners are extremely friendly!“

“One of the best places to eat, have eaten here at least 100 times and had just about everything on the menu. Everything is fantastic, but do yourself a favor and come here for brunch sometime and get the huevos (egg) taco (or 2 or 3). It's one of the most delicious things you'll ever taste.“

“I’ve only had their smoothies and tasted the ice cream . It’s pretty good haven’t been disappointed . Thai tea ice cream is fire 🔥 . They do close early , earlier than their posted hours though sometimes a half hour early so best to arrive over an hour before they close . It was a hearty crumb kind of reminded me of a sweet cornbread. I don't know if there's any corn used in the making of the cake though. delicious! Raspberry buttercream on top or in the center as I like to eat my cupcakes. I wouldn't get the biscotti again but maybe if they dipped them in chocolate :-) I'm so pleased I live close to a gluten-free bakery! They had several GF offerings when I went there“

“First time trying the local eatery... beautiful food, decor, pricing.. very much practicing safety through Covid which I greatly appreciate. I ordered to go: harira, tagine, the honey cookie with orange blossom ice cream and green tea with mint. It was a comfort food I never knew I was missing. Each bite I couldn’t place the memory but it felt like home. Maybe because everything was made with love? I’ve never had harira before but it went down like grandma made it, tagine... who knew turnips and prunes would delight my taste buds so much, what was that bread?? It was perfect for sopping up the soup and also the tagine juice. Lamb was tender and flavorful. I had a few sips of the tea and decided to save it for tomorrow’s afternoon beverage because it’s a Saturday picnic kind of beverage. I took a nibble of the honey cookie and again, saving for tomorrow’s picnic. I didn’t want to eat it on a full stomach so I could truly, fully enjoy every morsel.
