They have seasonal favorites like hot cross buns, things with bunnies and such for Easter, the cookies...there is a large selection available. They have great birthday cakes, party cakes, cup cakes, all flavors. I have never been disappointed with an order that I made.“

“I was really impressed and honestly my expectations weren't that high walking in. The wine list had options you don't see everywhere and the bartender actually knew how to talk about each one. My friend ordered the burrata and I got the steak frites, both came out fast and cooked perfectly. I'm picky about steak and this one was genuinely good, juicy and seasoned well. The whole vibe was relaxed too, not pretentious like some places around here. We ended up staying way longer than we planned just because it felt so comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back and already told a few people they have to try it.“

“Absolutely fantastic, this is about as authentic as you can get it. The golubtsi taste identical to my grandma’s, and while every borscht is different, this is certainly a good one. Definitely a hidden gem and I would encourage anybody curious about eastern european cuisine to come try it.“

“This is one of my very favorite restaurants in Martinez. I love the window seat when I can get it. Love the charming privacy it lends itself too. The service is amazing; especially if you get Darlene! She is friendly, efficient, clearly loves what she does! You are greeted as if your a long lost friend! The food is so fresh and very tasty. I've never had a bad meal in this place. They bring free bread with a balsamic dip to the table that is so good. I could drink the dip. Lol. Their CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD, DELUXE DUNGENESS CRAB MELT, GEMELLI PASTA WITH ROASTED SEASONAL VEGETABLES, AND THEIR COASTAL LINGUINI, (I substituted with chicken.) are some of my favorites. All theirs food is off the hook! Their prices are just slightly higher than the average; however, their food is great quality and they give a huge portion. They have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. I've not been there on those nights. I feel quite confident that it just adds to the already charming atmosphere.

Just love, love, love this place.

“Just picked up my chicken soup this afternoon,my granddaughter wanted to go to the park,I ordered it over the phone and they said 10 minutes but we stayed at the park for. 45 minutes the soup and croissant was still hot not warm but hot my granddaughter loved the bread man lol“

“Walked in on a Tuesday evening and the thin-crust pepperoni looked textbook — almost translucent in spots, with the cheese browned just right at the edges from a gas deck oven. The sausage came fennel-forward and crumbled, not pre-formed, which made a noticeable difference with each bite.

Prices sit around $17-18 for a 14-inch specialty, which is fair for the quality. The counter service was quick and patient, even when I asked for half-and-half toppings. The seating is simple — a few booths and tables with a clean, uncluttered vibe. No gluten-free crust here last time I checked, just the regular dough and a solid sauce that leans slightly sweet.“

“I had a craving for a good old fashioned Chinese lunch special. You know the ones that include maybe some soup if you're lucky rice and one entree. I saw this place when I had a few minutes to myself. I went in and ordered not expecting much but it was absolutely delicious! The soup was hot and sour soup which is one of my favorites. It was incredibly well done and then I had kung pao shrimp with stir fried rice. The rice was okay. Nothing special but my God the kung pao shrimp? The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were crisp tender and the sauce was spicy enough to catch your attention without burning out your stomach or your throat“

“You couldn't find a better coffee shop - the baristas are so kind, helpful and friendly. The coffee is the best we ever had and latte drinks perfect, rich, and soothing. Every bite of baked goods is delicious - the best chocolate croissant ever (including Paris) The avocado toast made with focaccia bread is so delicious - Lever is a little piece of heaven in a crazy world. Love the ambiance too. Parking can be difficult, but you can always park at Safeway shopping center and easily walk across the street! It truly is such a treat in our day.“

“Really good pizzas, good amount of pizza options, we can get thin or chicago style pizza. Lots of topping options and the small is actually not that small. The service is pretty good too. Awesome manager as well, we had a small issue and this was resolved proactively. Definitely recommend this spot!“

“I really like Pancoast. Wife is a newyorker and Pancoast’s pizza style is right up her alley. They have 4 tap beers and they’re some of the best in Norcal - nice to see somebody cares about great beer. I order to go, get a beer at the bar, and take home. They’re seemingly busy all the time so Pancoast has a following.

Parking sucks, they have to share with their neighboring businesses so plan to get a spot on the street.“

My favorite sandwich is the Italian, though I've tried most of the menu, and everything has been good. In the craziness of preparing for the party, I set the pickup time as the day and time of the party, when I meant to set it for the afternoon of the day before. I arrived at the store to pick up the order when I thought I had set the pickup time for, only to realize my mistake when they couldn't find the order. I was frantic, because my party was the next day, before they would open. The staff was pleasant and generous. They offered to quickly make my order, if I wouldn't mind waiting 15 minutes. “I’ve been going to Ike’s since they only had one location, and was thrilled when they opened up in WC. Sandwiches are still just as stellar all these years later. Prices have increased significantly over that time, obviously they’ve gone up everywhere, but noticeably more at Ike’s than anywhere else. Still great, just more of a treat than a go too now.“
