The chocolate cake was very moist and the strawberry filling was delicious! I loved the salt in the icing. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely ordering all our vegan cakes from here from now on!“

“Grabbed some breakfast and it was yummy! I would definitely come back to either dine in or get a pastry or two to go. I was a little confused on how dine in worked, and had to ask a guest about water refills but overall was satisfied with my meal and service. It was not very busy, the room was very clean, calming music playing. And I got my sandwich within five minutes or so. “A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). It was one of the best salads I have ever had in San Francisco; the brightness of the grapefruit cut through the richness of the duck beautifully. Desserts: Celebrating National Cocoa Day! To celebrate National Cocoa Day Dec. 13th-I couldn't resist. I highly suggest partaking in the Hot Chocolate for a decadent dessert item—it was rich, velvety, and a perfect holiday treat. And if you still have room, the Cheesecake with Brown Sugar is another truly fantastic dessert that offers a wonderful, comforting finish to the meal. “I only had take-out and delivery but everything was delicious! The pork wonton soup was amazing. I was expecting pork wontons but there were several meaty dumplings (obviously from scratch) with plenty of BBQ pork and veggies. I was sick at the end of my trip and this place got me through it. The combo rice, shrimp noodles, spring rolls, crab rangoons, fried chicken, and soup was the best I've ever had. Three out of six days we ordered Kung Food and were pleasantly delighted every time. There is nothing like this place up in Washington state.“

“#1 Fan ~ The food is amazingly delicious and healthy at moonbowls. I get a bowl at least twice a week, have turned many friends onto moonbowls, and have even had our staff lunch catered by them. I will say the pickup experience is a little weird but I'm slowly getting used to it. Using Doordash makes it super convenient and helpful. Regardless of the latter, the food taste and quality far outweighs the pickup experience so it is what it is.

Parking is a nightmare, as you probably already expect in San Francisco. But the shop is worth it - so cute and welcoming. The staff behind the counter were lovely.“

I got the cheese/green onion scone and a warm date latte and enjoyed both. Service was great and atmosphere was calm & relaxing. Came in on a Tuesday from 12:45-2:45pm and was very quiet and not very busy. I essentially had the whole upstairs table to myself for a couple hours.
Note: it seems like oatmilk substitute costs an extra 75 cents.“

They do close early , earlier than their posted hours though sometimes a half hour early so best to arrive over an hour before they close . I haven’t tried their banh mi but they do seem pricey at nearly 18 dollars each!“
