“don't knock nothing Bundt cake! I used to because it's everywhere, but it's because they deserve to be that big. They craft solid cakes and mini Bundt cakes for any occasion. Brainless option for parties, gifts, get together dinners. The cakes are consistently moist and the signature flavors are all great picks, I love the red velvet and lemon. Plus, they offer cute decorated cakes for themed occasions. They did one for niece's 5th bday and my boyfriend's Easter dinner.“

“The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.“

“Wildly popular and mostly lives up to the hype! Although, I think the Breakfast Sandwich and the Morning Bun are overrated. IMO, the Smoked Salmon Tartine and the Pressed Ham & Gruyère Sandwich are the can't miss highlights of the menu. The standard baked goodies like the Almond Croissant are also v solid. The big open seating space give me "easy like Sunday morning" vibes that you can keep going by swinging by Heath in the same building or just taking a stroll through the neighborhood.“

While the coffee vanilla mousse looked amazing on the outside, it was a tad too sweet. However, the highlight for me was the Imperial; paired with an iced cold brew, the decadent layers filled with a crumbly bottom and a sweet white filling inside was my favourite.Pretty good!“

“My friend recommended this place to me. The place is fairly simple and clean. You order at the counter. There are a few tables for you to dine in, but I find most people order to take out.I like the Simurgh kebab sandwich. The kebabs were delicious but what stood out for me was the Turkish bread. It's not like anything I've had before. It is grilled, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is probably my favorite sandwich bread now. They make them all from scratch.I've only been there twice, but it's a place I would return again.“
