“Amazing kebabs for a great price! For $18 you get enough for two people with leftovers. We tried the chicken and the lamb and they were both amazing. The kebabs come with a large serving of delicious rice, a pita, a cooked tomato and a salad.

Takes about 20 minutes to come out and there is no seating inside, but it was completely worth the wait!“

We had two birthdays and they gave us huge portions of saffron ice cream and Gulaab jamun on the house. Overall everything was excellent. The garlic naan is so buttery, so is the karahi and the Dum biryani.“

“This place serves CHEESE STUFFED NAAN. It's just so legit. You can ask them to stack multiple as whole cheesy pillows or get the standard single-sliced-into-4 basket. Also everything on the menu I've tasted so far is deliciously layered and complex, satisfyingly spicy and salty, and just good solid comfort-food tasty. Only short is that it gets chilly during dinner with the doors open for when they bring out our tandoori (sizzling plates). Dinner here on the weekend brings out families and friend groups along with me and my trans partner.

The food, ambiance & entire experience on Valentine's Day were top notch. The mushroom risotto w an addition of a lobster tail recommendation by Chris was out of this world amazing. “Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“The chicken halal plate from this place is Beyond DELICIOUS! If you like halal food, you won’t be disappointed eating here. It’s pretty good. The block it’s in can be sketchy at times, so practice caution when parking, stay alert and quick purchasing. They also have really good herbs, seasonings and products to purchase.“

Felt like hot coals lava the hottest thing you can think of I ran into a seven 11 and ran straight to the water section and didn't even pay for the bottle I grabbed and started drinking I was hunched over swatting and crying for a few minutes before heading to the line to pay for the water. “I love this place! The food really stands out and every time I go here the entire staff is so warm and friendly.

If dining in, the combo plates are great for sharing. Big portions and truly delicious hummus and baba ghanoush! And if you are on the go, their wraps are also very tasty and affordable.

“Excellent unique bbq meant for take out. Pricey but so worth it. Hit the line when it opens to assure food availability. I suggest older folks bring a stool. They sell until tgey run.out of food, but they do warn the line when it gets close. You might be able to eat next door with outside tables and get yourself a beer. The dino ribs are amazing, and massive. Sides are quite tasty.“

“I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!“

Came for a late dinner on a Wednesday evening and this place was packed! We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving at 8pm.

To start, we ordered the watermelon salad to share. The presntation was gorgeous and colorful, was a refreshing appetizer to get us started.

For beverages, I had a pour of the fieldworks Belgian and my friend had a mango lassi. Both beverages were served in bespoke glassware and were delicious.

For mains, we ordered the butter chicken and lamb curry (both medium spicy) to share, with a side of naan and two sides of rice. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, while the curry lamb had a nice balance of flavor and heat. Both were enhanced by the side of garlic naan.

Overall, a solid meal and nice ambience.“
