“I had the opportunity to enjoy their food at a recent pop-up restaurant put on by La cucina in San Francisco! their cuisine is Algerian and very delicious! I have never had the chance to experience this particular cuisine and now I cannot wait until they open the Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco's tenderloin neighborhood! expected to open in July, KAYMA will be one of the stalls featured there. absolutely every morsel I tried at that dinner was delicious but they're brined black olives were incredible! hoping they will have them available in jars to take home!“

“So delicious! I really enjoyed my dinner here and recommend it to everyone from those who love uzbek food to those who have never tried it before.

The restaurant is large and has a lot of seating. They had no issues accommodating walk-ins. The food came out in a timely manner, and the waitresses were friendly.

It was my first time here so I ordered classic dishes like manti and plov, two dishes I enjoy and have tried before elsewhere. That was enough for my friend and I to share, so the portions are quite filling. I enjoyed the texture of the rice in the plov, and it came with this simple side salad of tomatoes and red onion but it paired nicely with the dish, and I found myself really enjoying it. Next time, I’d love to try some dishes I’ve never had before, or the kebab plates. I saw someone else order a kebab plate and it came out sizzling and smelling so so good!“

“Came here on a whim after some golf with a friend. One of the best gyros I have had in years! Really kind and attentive staff as well. I would not hesitate to go back if I am in the area again.
Seating is a little sparse and the layout is a little cramped, but absolutely delicious food and really friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for some great lunch.“

“Just go! There's a parking lot so you won't need to circle to find a spot. The food is INCREDIBLE!
And they have a little hidden oasis in the back where one can eat a crazy good burger & spiced fries.
It's the little things that matter - the special sauce, the sink in the back where we could wash our hands before / after eating, and the incredible service & smiles we received when we walked in. We'll be back anytime we are in the neighborhood!!“

“Coworkers and I were actually looking for a different restaurant, got lost, decided to eat here and I am so glad we did because this place is DELICIOUS. The naan bread was SO good, crispy and chewy and fresh. I had the veggie korma, my coworkers had chicken curry dishes, we all had rice, everyone was delighted. I got a mango lasse to go and it too was fantastic. Our waiter was very nice too and we were served quickly. Total stroke of luck to wind up in front of this place, since we all want to go again soon.“

“Old Jerusalem is one of my favorite restaurants for Middle Eastern food on San Francisco’s Mission St. I ordered the Mansaf last time and it was amazing, so I had to come back and order the Mousakhan this time. Dunya was amazing host again and very knowledgeable of the menu and dishes. The complimentary beets and olives were a nice little appetizer while the food gets prepared. The pita with the side sauces were also a great refresher. I ordered the coffee this time and it was a unique flavor that I enjoyed. The Mousakhan dish was a feast! Easily sharable but I devoured it. The chicken was well seasoned and tender. I liked how it was served over a pita bread which soaked in the flavor. Eating with hands is the best for this meal and the whole experience was exceptional. I was too full for dessert but I will be back for the kunafa!“

“Okay wow. My kids love this spot and I never tried it bc I thought it was just whatever but I finally ordered a single tender for myself to see what the hype was all about and it was so good!!! I got mild which is just a tiny kick but not where you need to find water and it was so good! Amazingly crispy even after waiting after I had driven home to eat it and the pickles and super soft slice of bread was the perfect complement. The batter is very tasty with a hint of sweet and the chicken itself felt like great quality and wasn’t dry. Okay I get it now! Will order myself some food the next time the kids ask for this!“

“I've been coming here since they opened. Since the 'rebranding ', I noticed that the pizzas are smaller and there's hardly any pepperoni on the pizza. I ordered cheese and pepperoni medium. It's usually more than enough, but not anymore. Please continue with the size and quality that you have done in the past. I know that things have gotten more expensive but it's too much of a difference.“

“The location is right next to a gas station, so it’s probably not the best spot if you’re looking to hang out with friends or have a date night. But don’t let the location fool you—the moment I pulled up, I could smell the food from the parking lot, and it smelled amazing.

The customer service was exceptional. The gentleman who helped me even gave me complimentary black tea with spices while I waited. It was piping hot and had a really good flavor. My food also came out fairly quickly.

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, which came with seasoned chicken, rice, pita bread, hummus, and a creamy garlic sauce on the side. Everything was hot, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. I was a little surprised that the chicken was shredded since I expected larger grilled pieces, but it was still delicious and had plenty of flavor.

The hummus was especially good—it honestly tasted homemade—and the creamy garlic sauce went perfectly with everything. Overall, the great service and delicious food definitely made up for the location. I’d come back for the food and hospitality.“

“I've been wanting to visit forever, and it didn't disappoint! We arrived near opening time with no wait, but there was a line by the time we finished.

We shared smoked brisket, smoked ayam lumpia, nasi goreng, rujak slaw, and macaroni goreng—just the right amount for three of us. The brisket was tender, and everything was flavorful, with the slaw providing a nice crunch. I'd definitely return!“

For drinks we had a dragonfruit mocktail and chai. Taste was the gold standard, and service was super attentive. “I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“First time trying- food is pretty great! The chicken was crispy and... crunchy if you can believe it, ever after a drive home and sitting while we wrapped up chores. It was juicy, and had just the right amount of seasoning which allowed for dynamic dipping flavor action. That this place is in a supermarket and the service is a bit here or there adds to the charm. Jambalaya is awesome, great kick. Mac n cheese is okay. Mashed tatos is what you would expect.“

“Dave’s Hot Chicken never disappoints! The chicken is crispy, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I love that you can choose your spice level, so there’s something for everyone. The fries and sliders are also really good, and the portions are generous.

“Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“Kiosk for ordering, so no human interaction. I can’t really compare what I ate with other Mexican restaurants because of dietary restrictions. We had tacos: hand made blue corn tortillas! Meat had a charred flavor and was of good consistency. Quesabirria eas nice the consume was on good too. Overall great experience.“

The food, though—the food is soooo good! The pizza is always a good choice, and I often find myself going for the rigatoni pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken. It's cooked perfectly, and it comes with garlic bread!

The salads are a good size for sharing, and we usually order the Caesar.

They offer halal meat options, which is not a consideration for me, but it's good to see that they are conscious of their customers' needs and preferences.

“great experience! from the moment we walked in, the sound of the piano bar, the host who was flexible and gave us a great table, our primary server, Chris, who was attentive, friendly, helpful but not overbearing, the team of servers that pitch in to help any customer that needs help, the quality of the drinks and food, the table side caesar salad (must have), our T Bone steak - so good. And to top it off, they gave us a hand written card as we were celebrating our anniversary. Well done!“

The only thing to keep in mind is that it is more of a self-service setup when it comes to the extras. You grab your own silverware, plates, napkins, drinks, and to-go boxes. It was not a major issue for us, but it is helpful to know what to expect going in.
