“Came here on a whim after some golf with a friend. One of the best gyros I have had in years! Really kind and attentive staff as well. I would not hesitate to go back if I am in the area again.
Seating is a little sparse and the layout is a little cramped, but absolutely delicious food and really friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for some great lunch.“

“Just go! There's a parking lot so you won't need to circle to find a spot. The food is INCREDIBLE!
And they have a little hidden oasis in the back where one can eat a crazy good burger & spiced fries.
It's the little things that matter - the special sauce, the sink in the back where we could wash our hands before / after eating, and the incredible service & smiles we received when we walked in. We'll be back anytime we are in the neighborhood!!“

“Coworkers and I were actually looking for a different restaurant, got lost, decided to eat here and I am so glad we did because this place is DELICIOUS. The naan bread was SO good, crispy and chewy and fresh. I had the veggie korma, my coworkers had chicken curry dishes, we all had rice, everyone was delighted. I got a mango lasse to go and it too was fantastic. Our waiter was very nice too and we were served quickly. Total stroke of luck to wind up in front of this place, since we all want to go again soon.“

“Okay wow. My kids love this spot and I never tried it bc I thought it was just whatever but I finally ordered a single tender for myself to see what the hype was all about and it was so good!!! I got mild which is just a tiny kick but not where you need to find water and it was so good! Amazingly crispy even after waiting after I had driven home to eat it and the pickles and super soft slice of bread was the perfect complement. The batter is very tasty with a hint of sweet and the chicken itself felt like great quality and wasn’t dry. Okay I get it now! Will order myself some food the next time the kids ask for this!“

“First time trying- food is pretty great! The chicken was crispy and... crunchy if you can believe it, ever after a drive home and sitting while we wrapped up chores. It was juicy, and had just the right amount of seasoning which allowed for dynamic dipping flavor action. That this place is in a supermarket and the service is a bit here or there adds to the charm. Jambalaya is awesome, great kick. Mac n cheese is okay. Mashed tatos is what you would expect.“

“The chicken halal plate from this place is Beyond DELICIOUS! If you like halal food, you won’t be disappointed eating here. It’s pretty good. The block it’s in can be sketchy at times, so practice caution when parking, stay alert and quick purchasing. They also have really good herbs, seasonings and products to purchase.“

“I have to say this experience exceeded expectations from start to finish.

A dear friend insisted I try the pineapple coconut cakes, ordering four and telling me “you will see.” That level of confidence immediately raised my curiosity and it absolutely delivered.

From the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone. They were kind, informative, patient, and genuinely welcoming. That level of service matters, and they got it right.

I initially ordered four plates and appreciated the menu variety, especially seeing whole chicken wings offered. But the real moment came when I sampled the shrimp in my car. It was outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and memorable.

I turned right back around and ordered an additional plate with catfish and shrimp, and that sealed it for me. The shrimp are 🔥🔥🔥!

“My husband and I have been coming here for 5 years now and we just love the food here. We get the Quabili Pallow which is a lamb dish with fragrant rice mixed with carrots and raisins and it is absolutely delicious every time. We also get the chicken thigh kabobs which are reminiscent of Tandoori chicken in flavor and texture. We all but lick the plate clean each time.“

We had lunch here and the food was really delicious. We ordered the qabuli palo, house salad, and chicken wings — everything was perfect.

The qabuli palo was flavorful and cooked just right, with tender meat and aromatic rice. The house salad was fresh and a great balance to the meal.

But the crispy wings were such a WOW. Seasoned perfectly, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Easily the highlight.

Service was friendly and the place felt welcoming. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

“We needed a larger table for my mom’s bday in a last minute decision to have dinner here, and although during their busier time, we were lucky and got a table. Nity was so kind, attentive and accommodating from the very start of our first phone call. She recommended a set menu for our party size and gave great recommendations. The process was smooth, informative and her communication was good. The entire staff was friendly and professional while also being polite and respectful. Food was served hot and freshly made and everything we had tasted excellent and nothing was over bearing. This included the super yummy and summery watermelon salad, malai chicken, tawa shrimp, baigan bharta, chole, dum biriyani, butter chicken, kheer brûlée and some pistachio trés leches! Kudos to the chefs! I know it can be hard to make a choice for Indian food in Berkeley but I recommend Noor, 10/10 ! Beautiful ambience, fresh and delicious food, premium service making for a really nice and refreshing experience. Ty again to you and your team Nity!“
