neighborhood is kinda sketchy but I felt fine.
food was absolutely delicious, burger patty, although thin, was perfect (get the double patty burger).

“Amazing kebabs for a great price! For $18 you get enough for two people with leftovers. We tried the chicken and the lamb and they were both amazing. The kebabs come with a large serving of delicious rice, a pita, a cooked tomato and a salad.

Takes about 20 minutes to come out and there is no seating inside, but it was completely worth the wait!“

“This place serves CHEESE STUFFED NAAN. It's just so legit. You can ask them to stack multiple as whole cheesy pillows or get the standard single-sliced-into-4 basket. Also everything on the menu I've tasted so far is deliciously layered and complex, satisfyingly spicy and salty, and just good solid comfort-food tasty. Only short is that it gets chilly during dinner with the doors open for when they bring out our tandoori (sizzling plates). Dinner here on the weekend brings out families and friend groups along with me and my trans partner.

“The chicken halal plate from this place is Beyond DELICIOUS! If you like halal food, you won’t be disappointed eating here. It’s pretty good. The block it’s in can be sketchy at times, so practice caution when parking, stay alert and quick purchasing. They also have really good herbs, seasonings and products to purchase.“

“Tried it for the first time yesterday. We’ve walked by many times during lunch, thinking it was just another fast food chicken place…..finally gave it a try. It was excellent and staff was friendly. Chicken was fresh and crispy. They have many spice levels to choose from. Medium was plenty hot for me. The chicken tender was great, but the sliders were even better. Totally recommend this place!“

“We got egusi with oxtail & fufu, and a jollof rice plate. They also have a homemade sea moss drink here. The food was super flavorful and kinda felt like eating in someone's home, which we loved.

“I bought the oyster combo with DoorDash and I absolutely loved the deep fried oysters. The fried breading was very tasty and the oysters tasted like they were cooked just right.

I chose potato salad for the side, I liked it, however, I do not know if they make it fresh.

The combo also comes with a Shasta brand soda, but cola and lemon lime are the only offered flavors.

I definitely want to order from here again.“

“I had the most heartwarming experience at this spot in Downtown Oakland! After a while, I finally got to reunite with my best friend, and we decided to meet here for breakfast. The buffet was fresh, delicious, and had a great variety to choose from. The coffee was strong and smooth—just what we needed to start our morning. “Our kids really wanna try food here as they have seen the menu and pictures. Finally we manage to go on her birthday to celebrate with family and friends . We had Mango lassi, pani puri , samosa, chicken Momo, Briyani, paneer lababda, muglai chicken, butter naan, butter chicken,jeera rice ,Chicken Briyani, tres lache cake and lal Mohan with ice cream . Of course gentlemen had wine 🍷 too.All the food were yummy , desent portion . I was expecting 8 pieces of Momo but it was only 5. Shout out to Briyani . It was yummy . Do visit this place . Great atmosphere – The restaurant had a warm and welcoming vibe ,you can reserve your preferable seat.

🍽️ Good variety of Afghan dishes – The buffet included traditional Afghan items like Qabili Pallow, Eggplant Borani (Bonjan Borani), Kofta Challow,Bolani,Mantoo dumplings etc.

Buffet Iftar: in ramadan good value for a buffet – Reasonable price considering the amount and variety of food.Dates, appetizers-Pakora and all the other Afghan dishes.Well-timed service – Food was ready around sunset which made it convenient to break the fast.

“I ordered the falafel salad and an appetizer similar to dumplings. The appetizer was excellent and reminded me of Cincinnati chilli but as a dumpling. The Falafel salad was was ok. It's likely better as a wrap. I'd eat here again.“
