“I just came to this restaurant for lunch and everything was amazing! The food was so delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the customer service. As soon as I walked in, they welcomed me so warmly and made me feel comfortable right away. They were very kind and kept asking if I needed anything, saying they were there to help. It’s rare to find both great food and such excellent hospitality together. Highly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back again!“

“The chicken halal plate from this place is Beyond DELICIOUS! If you like halal food, you won’t be disappointed eating here. It’s pretty good. The block it’s in can be sketchy at times, so practice caution when parking, stay alert and quick purchasing. They also have really good herbs, seasonings and products to purchase.“

“Tried it for the first time yesterday. We’ve walked by many times during lunch, thinking it was just another fast food chicken place…..finally gave it a try. It was excellent and staff was friendly. Chicken was fresh and crispy. They have many spice levels to choose from. Medium was plenty hot for me. The chicken tender was great, but the sliders were even better. Totally recommend this place!“

“Tasty Lebanese food + other things like pastries, fruit drinks and coffee in a no-frills setting. I usually get the chicken shawarma plate which is quite filling and delicious in a homemade way. Spicy sauce is tangy and relatively mild. Yogurt sauce is incredible, next time I will ask for extra. Falafels are more soft than crunchy and very flavorful. Staff are respectful and easy to work with. Located in the Oakland City Center plaza.“

“Good size portions of good food at a good price. Great location too. They will see me again many times. Limited menu, but that’s not a bad thing. Perfect before or after a show or event. Plus they are open late.“

“I have to say this experience exceeded expectations from start to finish.

A dear friend insisted I try the pineapple coconut cakes, ordering four and telling me “you will see.” That level of confidence immediately raised my curiosity and it absolutely delivered.

From the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone. They were kind, informative, patient, and genuinely welcoming. That level of service matters, and they got it right.

I initially ordered four plates and appreciated the menu variety, especially seeing whole chicken wings offered. But the real moment came when I sampled the shrimp in my car. It was outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and memorable.

I turned right back around and ordered an additional plate with catfish and shrimp, and that sealed it for me. The shrimp are 🔥🔥🔥!

“This place was AMAZING. Transported me to a very cultural space. The fufu and egusi I recommend, it tasted amazing and perfect. Portion sizes don’t look like much, but that coulda fed me for three days. Met the chef himself and he was the sweetest man. I recommend to everyone trying African for the first time. “Our kids really wanna try food here as they have seen the menu and pictures. Finally we manage to go on her birthday to celebrate with family and friends . We had Mango lassi, pani puri , samosa, chicken Momo, Briyani, paneer lababda, muglai chicken, butter naan, butter chicken,jeera rice ,Chicken Briyani, tres lache cake and lal Mohan with ice cream . Of course gentlemen had wine 🍷 too.All the food were yummy , desent portion . I was expecting 8 pieces of Momo but it was only 5. Shout out to Briyani . It was yummy . Do visit this place . Great atmosphere – The restaurant had a warm and welcoming vibe ,you can reserve your preferable seat.

🍽️ Good variety of Afghan dishes – The buffet included traditional Afghan items like Qabili Pallow, Eggplant Borani (Bonjan Borani), Kofta Challow,Bolani,Mantoo dumplings etc.

Buffet Iftar: in ramadan good value for a buffet – Reasonable price considering the amount and variety of food.Dates, appetizers-Pakora and all the other Afghan dishes.Well-timed service – Food was ready around sunset which made it convenient to break the fast.

“Horrible customer service from the two women who work here. Been three times where I experienced unwelcoming behavior from the female workers. Not apologetic whatsoever for her unwelcoming behavior. So unfortunate and wont be returning. I tried to go back multiple times but each time I go it’s the women who work there that treat me poorly.“
