“I was headed to the post office on 13th street when I noticed this kabab restaurant. I thought, I'll stop in on my way back. What a treat, I had the curry lamb with rice. I must say that it has to the best curry sauce that I have ever had. The flavors were bold and rich and the lamb was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be going back!“

“This place has a lunch special that offers rice and naan, plus 2 kinds of entrees. I had the tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. The naan was nice and buttery and fluffy, no burnt or dryness to it, and both entrees were tasty. I had ordered ahead of time for pickup and it was ready right on time. I am giving the food 4 out of 5 stars because I would have liked both dishes to be spicy like I requested, especially the vindaloo (tikka masalas aren’t typically spicy so that’s ok!). I like my food to be pretty spicy though and they probably don’t want to overdo it for other folks. Overall good quality and portions for $17, the gentleman who helped me was quite nice and courteous, and I will be back :)“

“I have eaten several times in this restaurant. It is elegant enough to have a meeting or friends reunion, and reasonably priced for students. You may treat yourself for a 'tandoori' delicious dish, or just go vegetarian. The owners are almost always there and give a nice atmosphere to the place. I just love this restaurant! “AMAZING momos. The pani puri is FANTASTIC. it’s packaged perfectly so you can take it home and eat it. No problem. The chili chicken momos r my favorite. And always get pani puri. 10/10. Favorite spot in Oakland.
