One of my absolute favorite hole in the walls. Came back after 4 years, so happy the quality is the same after Covid. This is a no frills dining experience, you come for the food. This place has an old-school, not particularly inviting facade, but which gives it a bit of edgy mystery alongside its other Piedmont Ave neighbors. We got take-out which consisted of Chicken Makhani, Aaloo Tikki, Nan and rice. It also came with a chickpea dish, which may have been bundled with one of the other things or a mistake, regardless it was the best part. The rest was solidly so-so. Food was not very fragrant, service was mediocre (I had to go up to the front to get someone’s attention every time I needed something bc no one would come by for 10-20 minutes, which made me feel very rude but there’s a limit to how much I can wait;; we were only one of three tables there, too.), and the food is expensive for the quality you get.
