“Stopped by for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon and ordered the lamb tikka masala (medium spice) along with two butter naans. The lamb tikka masala came out with a generous portion of tender, well-seasoned meat and a delicious sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the enormous size of the naan, which was easily 1.5 times larger than any I’ve had in the Bay Area.

Dipping the naan into the sauce was incredible. The restaurant and restrooms are exceptionally clean, and the service was attentive—my water was refilled without me asking, and they even brought out a hot cup of chai at the end. I will definitely be back.“

“Amazing food at a reasonable price. The sun room is beautiful with tall ceilings and large windows. Norman, the owner, was very kind. Great variety of vegan and vegetarian food with offerings outside of what you find at other places. They also have lunch buffet menu! You can tell this is an authentic place and an old SF staple. “A rather odd place. First of all, the tandoori chicken and the palak paneer were fantastic – the best I’ve ever had, I think. However, the naan (we got plain and garlic) was the worst I have ever had. Think thin, bad pizza dough. The basmati rice was alright. Service was friendly but a bit slow and scattered. The women’s bathroom was dirty enough that I decided to wait until I got back home. The tension on the door to the women’s bathroom was set so high that the door slammed into me quite hard.“

the naan was my fav coz i’m so picky about naans. It’s light but not too light. Naan should have some weight to it and the flakiness comes from the top crust.

“Tiya is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff genuinely make the entire experience feel special.

And the cocktails are in a league of their own. Izler Thomas is easily one of the best bartenders in the Bay Area, incredibly creative, thoughtful, and technically brilliant. Every drink feels like it has a story behind it, and the execution is flawless.

From the food to the cocktails to the hospitality, Tiya gets everything right. I’ve tried plenty of the other highly regarded Indian restaurants around the Bay, including Copra, and for me it’s not even close. Tiya is the one. Cannot recommend it enough.“

“Our experience at Copra was memorable due to the high quality and creativity of the food and excellent personal service. Everything we ordered felt like a labor of love from the kitchen, and our server Antonio was warm, helpful, and a true professional. The dosa and accompaniments and the rasam poori were just so much fun to eat, so flavorful and surprising. We especially loved the bone marrow, with plenty of parotta to dredge in the gravy - decadent and delicious. "VOD" vegetables of the day and beet salad were excellent. “I had their lamb roganjosh, aloo Gobi, and chicken chettinand. People might say Pakwan is the place to go for good Indian food in the city, but I was thoroughly impressed with what I ate at Keeva. This is not watered down gringofied Indian food. Absolutely loved the lamb roganjosh, the cauliflower and potatoes were very well spiced, and while I personally didn't like the chettinand, I understand the flavor profile and what that dish is. You're missing out on really delicious Indian food if you're not eating here.“

“It’s my first time getting Indian food in San Francisco, and I was very satisfied with eating at Noe Indian Cuisine.

Our server Subi was very friendly, kind, and sweet. The food (samosa, chicken tikka masala, chicken biriyani, naan) was all delicious and freshly cooked. The two of us really enjoyed all of the food and had nothing left on our plates.

“$120 for 3 people including tax+tip, this is a very nice spot and great location, don't come here if you're in a hurry though the service and food was a little slow haha. The smashed samosas were so good! Also really liked the chicken dumpling tikka masala“

“Our favorite Indian food in San Francisco. They truly go above and beyond for their customers and their food is always delicious. They forgot to add my Naan into my Togo bag this evening and personally drove it to my house to make sure that we were able to enjoy it with our meal. Have eaten in house a few times with my in laws and their table side service is just as attentive.

Their Chicken Lolipops (appetizer version) or the Chicken 65 (entree version) are always a must/go to especially when we bring our family and friends!“

I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. We were exhausted and so hungry! I placed my order late and they still filled it; the service was excellent and kind even though it was POPPIN’ in there; and the food was so good that it made up for all our struggles. The dahi sev puri and the Delhi special chole bhature were standouts, but literally everything was delicious. Washed it all down with mango lassis and beer and a whole lot of gratitude. “Been eating here basically since it opened. Used to be another Indian place that I frequented but when Tilak took over, the food took a leap up.

It's still one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Easily. Everything is so good and flavorful... from basics like dahl and butter chicken to more unusual dishes like masala lamb racks and goan prawns. If something on the menu looks a bit unusual, that you don't recognize from other Indian places, I recommend going for it.

Tilak himself and the rest of the staff are friendly and awesome, but the food... Just great stuff all the way down the menu.

So, yeah, easily my favorite Indian place in SF and the place we've been doing our company holiday dinner for the last five or six years.“
