“Had just arrived in San Francisco, and hit the road heading to Sonoma for a wedding this weekend. Looking for a place to have lunch and we found Avatars on line. So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! Friendly staff and a place we will fondly remember and look forward to trying again on our next trip out here!!“

“I just had the lunch buffet at Indian Palace Restaurant. There was a plentiful array of food. I chose the tandoori chicken, chana masala, saag panneer, basmati rice, and naan. Complimentary tea was included in the buffet. I also ordered a mango lassi. Service was good: attentive, but not hovering. I very much enjoyed my lunch and recommend the lunch buffet to others.“

“I loved this place. Huge fresh slabs in Naan, the samosas are just perfection. They have some two person combos that give you so much to try. Sizzling hot tandoori, just the right level of heat. The service was great, just a fantastic Indian food experience in a cute neighborhood.“

“I had their lamb roganjosh, aloo Gobi, and chicken chettinand. People might say Pakwan is the place to go for good Indian food in the city, but I was thoroughly impressed with what I ate at Keeva. This is not watered down gringofied Indian food. Absolutely loved the lamb roganjosh, the cauliflower and potatoes were very well spiced, and while I personally didn't like the chettinand, I understand the flavor profile and what that dish is. You're missing out on really delicious Indian food if you're not eating here.“

To say everything exceeded my expectations is understatement, Food was delicious and generous portion, and ate all of it ( usually I would not eat full but it was impossible to stop eating). Inside is very cozy and warm, and this will be my place from now on to eat. 12 out of 10 would recommend this gem“

“Amazing food at a reasonable price. The sun room is beautiful with tall ceilings and large windows. Norman, the owner, was very kind. Great variety of vegan and vegetarian food with offerings outside of what you find at other places. They also have lunch buffet menu! You can tell this is an authentic place and an old SF staple. Highly recommended and will come back next time I’m in town :)“

the surprise was the hyderabadi vegetable mix w apricots - delicious

the naan was my fav coz i’m so picky about naans. It’s light but not too light. Naan should have some weight to it and the flakiness comes from the top crust.

“A rather odd place. First of all, the tandoori chicken and the palak paneer were fantastic – the best I’ve ever had, I think. However, the naan (we got plain and garlic) was the worst I have ever had. Think thin, bad pizza dough. The basmati rice was alright. Service was friendly but a bit slow and scattered. The women’s bathroom was dirty enough that I decided to wait until I got back home. The tension on the door to the women’s bathroom was set so high that the door slammed into me quite hard.“

“Tiya is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff genuinely make the entire experience feel special.

And the cocktails are in a league of their own. Izler Thomas is easily one of the best bartenders in the Bay Area, incredibly creative, thoughtful, and technically brilliant. Every drink feels like it has a story behind it, and the execution is flawless.

From the food to the cocktails to the hospitality, Tiya gets everything right. I’ve tried plenty of the other highly regarded Indian restaurants around the Bay, including Copra, and for me it’s not even close. Tiya is the one. Cannot recommend it enough.“

“My boyfriend and I went to Copra for his birthday and absolutely loved it! We arrived a little early and were seated right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was great all night.

The food was amazing. Some of our favorites were the giant dosa, chicken curry, shrimp, and oysters. Everything was so flavorful and felt really unique compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The cocktails were also fantastic, and the restaurant itself is beautiful with such a great atmosphere.

“This place is a hidden gem on 4th street in San Rafael. They have an excellent lunch buffet. The staff is friendly. SD is a great manager and it is a joy to dine at his restaurant. The chai and sweets are on point as well. Highly recommended to all guests.“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

They forgot to add my Naan into my Togo bag this evening and personally drove it to my house to make sure that we were able to enjoy it with our meal. Have eaten in house a few times with my in laws and their table side service is just as attentive.

Their Chicken Lolipops (appetizer version) or the Chicken 65 (entree version) are always a must/go to especially when we bring our family and friends!“

“Had to meet my college friends after a long time. We found Trisara on Google after a pathetic experience at another restaurant. The host was welcoming and polite. Food was bland for our taste buds. But, we had a great time catching up. The place is open till 1am so good for us to meet post work, some traveling from as far as Cupertino to catch-up with friends.“

We were exhausted and so hungry! I placed my order late and they still filled it; the service was excellent and kind even though it was POPPIN’ in there; and the food was so good that it made up for all our struggles. The dahi sev puri and the Delhi special chole bhature were standouts, but literally everything was delicious. Washed it all down with mango lassis and beer and a whole lot of gratitude.
