Had an amazing experience here. I had been moving into a new apartment all day and had just gotten a couch stuck in a stairwell for hours (my friends and I eventually disassembled the thing). We were exhausted and so hungry! I placed my order late and they still filled it; the service was excellent and kind even though it was POPPIN’ in there; and the food was so good that it made up for all our struggles. Jalebi Street is a lively and well-decorated North Indian restaurant. It can be hard to get seated and is usually busy, with a sometimes chaotic service. The food, however, is phenomenal and top notch. The chole bhature is a standout, described as authentic and the reason to visit. The pav bhaji is really good with crispy, buttery bread, and the samosa chaat is nice and crispy with lots of flavor. The hot jalebis live up to the restaurant's name. Portions are nice and the food comes out quick. It is worth the wait.
