“A rather odd place. First of all, the tandoori chicken and the palak paneer were fantastic – the best I’ve ever had, I think. However, the naan (we got plain and garlic) was the worst I have ever had. Think thin, bad pizza dough. The basmati rice was alright. Service was friendly but a bit slow and scattered. The women’s bathroom was dirty enough that I decided to wait until I got back home. The tension on the door to the women’s bathroom was set so high that the door slammed into me quite hard.“

“I had the buffet and it was delicious! I came near the end of the buffet on a Sunday, but the food was still hot with many entree, appetizer, and dessert options. It also comes with naan which is a plus. My server was also nice and gave a run down of the buffet.“

drinks: confusingly mediocre/bad for a place with food this good. the drinks were just… not very good. not well balanced, not skillfully made, and just… confusing. for a place with food this good, I’d have expected the cocktails to be at least Very Good. They were a little below average. That’s the only reason this is a 4 star review!

other notes: we thought/hoped this would be a romantic fine-dining vibe, but it’s actually packed with families and is not very romantically set. not necessarily a problem, just something to be aware of!“

“The karahi was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and tasted just like homemade food. The saag was fresh, rich, and went so well with the naan. “Fantastic experience. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed, high-end dinner. Drinks were on point - we tried the Negroni, Moscow Mule, and a chai-infused cocktail, and all were excellent.

Food was great overall. The lamb chops, chicken pepper fry taco, butter chicken, and dal were all excellent - the dal is a must-have. The aloo tikki was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The chili cauliflower was okay, but everything else really stood out.

Presentation was on par with a Michelin-star restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we’re in SF.“

“Seriously underrated. The owner wanted me to eat the panipuri in the restraunt when it was takeout order saying it would get soggy. I was like nah I'm still going to have that that takeout and he literally poured a bunch of the tamarind water into a Togo coffee cup with lid. The service is second to none. Also the lamb biryani is so good. Cost wise its not overly expensive. Taste wise its rlly good“

“It’s my first time getting Indian food in San Francisco, and I was very satisfied with eating at Noe Indian Cuisine.

Our server Subi was very friendly, kind, and sweet. The food (samosa, chicken tikka masala, chicken biriyani, naan) was all delicious and freshly cooked. The two of us really enjoyed all of the food and had nothing left on our plates.

“Our favorite Indian food in San Francisco. They truly go above and beyond for their customers and their food is always delicious. They forgot to add my Naan into my Togo bag this evening and personally drove it to my house to make sure that we were able to enjoy it with our meal. Have eaten in house a few times with my in laws and their table side service is just as attentive.

Their Chicken Lolipops (appetizer version) or the Chicken 65 (entree version) are always a must/go to especially when we bring our family and friends!“

“I had a great experience at Trisara. The food was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the lamb korma, garlic naan, and samosa, and everything was delicious and well prepared.

“100% recommend!! Pippal is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the Bay! We've been regulars at Pippal since they opened, and it's one of those places we look forward to coming back to as often as possible.

Today we got to try their Mediterranean collaboration (available for the month of June), sharing the family-style meal alongside the Journey Through the Mediterranean platter. It was such a fun way to experience a different side of the kitchen. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. I hope they consider running this collaboration again in the future!

But if it's your first visit, we have to mention the dishes that made us fall in love with Pippal in the first place. Our standing order is usually the chicken momo, gangura chicken, vada pao sliders, butter chicken, and plenty of chili garlic naan to soak up every last bit of sauce.

What has kept us coming back all these years is the quality and consistency. Every visit, the food is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and always delicious! The cocktails are also consistently creative and yummy!

The service is always wonderful! Truly, that's a big part of why we keep coming back. The staff always make us feel welcome! And it's been a pleasure to get to know them too.

“Arvin and Puja prepare authentic Nepalese Food that is delicious. My favorites are the Palak Panner, Mixed Vegetable, and Paneer Tikamasala as I am vegetarian. The Nan and Roti are to die for. I love the down to earth homie atmosphere and friendly service. It you want good quality wholesome food in a relaxed and friendly setting, this is your place. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

I was in love with the decor and the atmosphere was great with light music and a cosy feeling. Overall it’s a place I see myself going again.“
