The goat curry was the highlight—the meat was tender, flavorful, and packed with a real blast of flavor. The portion size was quite generous and honestly felt heavy for a single person.

The restaurant is also very clean, spacious, and well maintained, which made the overall dining experience comfortable.

I'm not a drinker but was once, and the bar looks quite well stocked and with bartenders who are quick to smile. On the smaller side but nicely cozy inside. Some outside seating if you don't mind the visuals of the not overly busy parking lot (with meters, FYI), but which was *very* nice on a recent end-of-summer evening. I'm told they do a fair amount of take-out, but would never have realized it myself across several visits as it is well handled in ways inobtrusive on the dining experience.“

“Absolutely delicious home-style desi food! Uma’s Kitchen has become one of our favorites. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and genuinely homemade, and the food is always super clean and well prepared.

I especially love the weekly menus and the occasional weekend feasts, which give us something new to look forward to. The flavors are excellent, and they can adjust the spice level to your preference, which is a big plus.

We ordered butter/ garlic naan, palak paneer, samosa onion and potato, onion dosas and idli/ Sambhar ! We earlier tried their cut mirchi / pakora and paneer biryani - really great taste! “November 13th, around 4:50 PM aimlessly walking around decovering new places to see and dine in when I stumbled upon ANARKALI ( Pakistani/Halal/Indian ) The lady who took my order made me feel like I was the only one there (even though I was for a while) She made sure I toured the restaurant/store with a light and easy futter. My order took longer than expected by her, but honestly, I watched her put my meal together, and it was not rushed... She repeatedly apologized, but honestly, I loved the dedication to the craft. Another customer came in as well as a delivery order, but she gave all of us special attention. I loved how I felt in the atmosphere as well as wonderful. “The best south indian food we had in a very very long time. Parotha was the most flakiest parota we ever had. The food served was so freshly prepared we couldn't stop ourselves from setting a limit on the quantity to eat. Irresistible. Dosa's and other items served so promptly. We were a group of 4 mostly from south india and had the most yummiest sambar sadam / sapadu rekindling our childhood homely memories. Totally impressed with the homely hospitality of Ravikumar and his team which added a motherly flavour to the food. Yes that's something money can't buy for you.“

“I went here the first time with a friend for lunch and the food was very tasty, we both had the chicken biryani - medium spicy. We both like spicy but I am not sure I would go beyond medium for myself but maybe - it was perfect. The portions are huge, I am a big eater and will have lunch for another day or two. They provide two additional sauces, one yogurt based and the other spicy- both were very good. I plan to come again. Very reasonably priced for the portions and terrific good. Staff are super nice and attentive. Only odd thing is when they ran our check they did not leave room for a tip, luckily we had cash but normally I don't carry cash.“

“Great food, service and ambience in downtown Concord. Decent selection of wines and beers. Went with a friend for a $20 buffet lunch. Good selection of curries includes goat curry and fish in addition to chicken. Plenty of salad options. Very good naan bread. Ample parking. Only downside is they charge a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card which you don't find out until after you pay your bill. Hence 4 stars. But overall, a nice clean and well-appointed place with enough space between tables for a private lunch/meeting. It's quiet enough and the staff is attentive and friendly.“
