Absolutely delicious home-style desi food! Uma’s Kitchen has become one of our favorites. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and genuinely homemade, and the food is always super clean and well prepared.
I especially love the weekly menus and the occasional weekend feasts, which give us something new to look forward to. The flavors are excellent, and they can adjust the spice level to your preference, which is a big plus.

Be it authentic north Indian food like Chhole, Litti Choka or chat or a Gujarti Handvo, Dhokla, or Maharashtra famous Vada pav , Pav Bhaji or Puran poil and if you want to try Asian cousins like Manchurian and Hakka noodles. Or even festive food like Til Laddoo or Gujiya . Uma's Kitchen have nailed it , never disappoint you !! Thank you for fresh authentic food!!
Uma's kitchen is my go to place for catering food for parties. Her food is amazing. It is very flavorful and healthier as she uses high quality fresh ingredients. I highly recommend.

Asian options like Manchurian and Hakka noodles are also available, along with festive foods such as Til Laddoo and Gujiya. The weekly menus and occasional weekend feasts offer something new, and the spice level can be adjusted to preference. Uma's Kitchen is a go-to place for catering parties, with flavorful and healthier food made from high quality fresh ingredients. First-time customers are often blown away by the authentic, clean tasting meals, nothing like typical restaurant food. Orders are fresh, homestyle, and healthy, with no extra oil and no dark gravies from overheating. The Gujiya and masala mathri for Holi were superb, with the Gujiya being a special favorite, fulfilling a taste from Uttar Pradesh. Uma herself carries a calm energy, is always ready to help clients, and goes out of her way to ensure satisfaction. Highly recommended for tasty, comforting home-style Indian food in the San Ramon area.
