“Decent place with surprisingly tasty food. The decor is very basic, parking is very limited, and the place may benefit from a little decoration (even some artificial plants would help please). The web site describes only meat dishes but they have a large vegetarian selection and a happy hour till 6 p.m. What lacks in presentation is made up in taste of what they serve. Just spruce up the place please and make it less bright.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at this pizza store! The pizza was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Navv made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in and provided excellent customer service throughout.
It’s rare to find a place with such great food and such genuinely kind staff.“

“Visited Aug28,2026 Food- dahi puri is good, goat shammi kebab not that good needs improvement, spices missing, Butter chicken too much sour needs improvement, goat biriyani is good. Too long wait time , food And service both needs improvement if they want to serve authentic Indian regional food.We waited for garlic naan for too long which never turned up.“

“As other reviewers have noted, this is an Indian cuisine with a twist of its own. Very well presented and garnished dishes. It is expensive and hence something we would consider for special occasions. Our previous experiences have been overall positive. The most recent experience was lukewarm. The sprout chaat was poorly made - the red chana was sprouted but not cooked and was very hard to eat as it felt at best partially sprouted. The tava subji was nice but dripping with a lot of oil. The ambiance was nice but the Lous music with high base volume made it difficult to have a conversation. A nice place and definitely better than most Indian restaurants in the area but would be hard to return here given our mixed experience.“

“Rare case of South Indian restaurant exceeding expectations.
Gobi 65 to start off was disappointing but they quickly upped it with kizhi parotta which although looked unauthentic tasted pretty good. Then the seeraga samba biryani and nei dosai were amazing! Authentic Tamil style with right amount of flavors. Sambar and chutney were great too. Kuzhi paniyaram was fantastic - soft and fluffy with proper marination and salt. I’m a fan of that hand grounded garlic - kaara chutney.I recommend this for Tamil food in east bay.“

“We stopped here on our way to Yosemite after a quick run at the Target opposite to pick up some supplies. We originally came in just planning to grab some tea and a few snacks, but ended up staying for an early dinner instead, and we’re so glad we did!
The food was absolutely delicious with an authentic homemade taste. We ordered the non-veg thali and the tandoori chicken, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It was such an unexpected find and easily one of the best meals we had during our trip.
If you’re passing through the area, this place is definitely worth a stop. Highly recommended!“

“Biryanz is a cool, no-nonsense place in San Francisco when you’re craving authentic Indian biryani. The flavors are bold, the spices are well balanced, and the biryani feels satisfying and comforting—just the way it should be. The rice is cooked well, the portions are generous, and the aroma hits you as soon as the plate arrives.
The vibe is casual and relaxed, making it a great spot for a quick meal or an easy catch-up with friends. It’s not overly fancy, but that’s part of its charm—the focus is clearly on good food.
Overall:
If you’re in the mood for solid Indian biryani without too much fuss, Biryanz is definitely worth checking out.“
