“This is BY FAR my husband and I’s favorite Indian restaurant to eat in the Bay Area. It is ethnic, every item on the menu is full of flavor and it has a real loving atmosphere inside. Feels like home. I recommend Methi to everyone who loves Great food!”
“I tried this place out two weeks ago. The ribs were so good so much flavor. The brisket was so moist. Everything tastes great and I loved the beach. The beans were so good. I almost want to go back just to grab some beans. Thank you for all your hard work in hospitality.”
“Tatsu is a solid spot here that really delivers on atmosphere and flavor. The authentic Japanese design stands out right away - warm wood tones, pink Sakuras, clean lines, and a cozy layout that makes the space feel both traditional and welcoming.
On a packed Saturday night, the team was clearly working at full speed. The chef in particular was impressive - focused, efficient, and handling a nonstop flow of orders without missing a beat. You could feel the effort and care behind the counter.
The sashimi was fresh, clean, and genuinely delicious - exactly what you hope for when you sit down at a sushi bar. The specialty rolls like Flaming Dragon were beautifully plated with a bit of flair, and the uni shooters were the highlight of the night - rich, briny, and absolutely outstanding.
Overall, a lively, high-quality sushi experience. When a restaurant is that busy and still maintains this level of freshness and service, that says a lot. Definitely worth coming back.”

“When we visit NorCal we always make as many stops here as possible. I think we’ve covered a lot of the breakfast/lunch options and we’ve been very pleased. The food is always fresh and tasty but some standouts are any of the omelettes and Benedict dishes. I love their blueberry power scone, but a family favorite is the zucchini bread which personally I find just a bit too sweet. The salads are fresh and filed with a wide variety of veggies. My recent tuna salad was so big that I took half of it home.
The service here is outstanding, all lovely smiles and attentiveness.”
“If you're like me, and you are obsessed with Xiao Long Bao, you will LOVE this spot.
It can be tough to get solid Dim Sum in the East Bay, so this is a much needed spot in Walnut Creek.
Their Xiao Long Bao are perfection, especially the hot and spicy pork ones.
Their Siu Mai is solid too - highly recommend the shrimp and pork.
Their sautéed string beans with garlic salt are top notch, too. Perfectly seasoned.
This is a great lunch spot, with quick service. Will be back again soon!”
“One of my favorite pizza, I normally visit the one in Ghirardelli Square but I'm happy that we have one in Walnutcreek.
Excellent customer service, all the people who work there are amazing, helpful, corteus, they go above and beyond to make your Dining experience one of a kind.”

“Food: Our friend recommended this place and they’ve been dined in or ordered takeouts multiple times. We came here and tried the recommended dishes, and it’s probably by far the BEST I’ve tried near Bay Area. I can’t wait to come back again and tried other pasta dishes and see if Melo’s going to be my fav Italian restaurant of all time! 100% recommend the chicken parmigiana, the sauce and cheese are perfectly balanced. I’m very picky when it comes to cheese or cream, and they made it so well✨ Square pizza is also another highlight. It was slight over burnt on the edge but the honey complements the flavor of the pepperoni and crispness.
Ambiance: it was warm and cozy. We sat in the patio seats and it suddenly rained, and all the staff came out to open the shades, and they also helped with the heater and offering blankets which makes the dining experience enjoyable.
Staff: nice and friendly, very helpful indeed.”
“Yum the smell of toasted bagels hits you right away! I ordered the Veggie Bagel with Vegan 🌱 Cream cheese, with an espresso (fyi they have vegan milk options) omg so good and my friend ordered the Original Breakfast Bagel and she loved it!!
All the staff were super friendly! I wish they had smaller tables instead of the large ones that are against the wall. Either way I still had a place to sit and enjoy my bagel with my friend. Please come here!!”
“Excellent food. I eat out a lot and I’ve tried many Thai restaurants in my life. This one is my favorite and the wait staff is awesome. Took family and friends here a few times already. Discovered them over a year ago.”
“Great place to enjoy amazing food. Stop by before the theatre at Lesher center or a date night. Cocktails are good Food is fresh and amazing - best artichoke appetizer ever”
“I had a takeout pizza from this restaurant last night first of all the customer service was absolutely excellent. The person that answered the phone had a really pleasant customer focused manner , nothing was too much trouble and he was so polite. The pizza was absolutely amazing , I hate anything that is too heavy and it was so light and lovely , the ingredients tasted extremely fresh , I would 100% recommend this place based upon my first experience and I will be back thanks so much 🥰”

“Va de Vi Bistro & Wine Bar continues to impress us every visit. The food is always incredibly fresh, and the rotating menu keeps things exciting.
Their wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, with something for every mood. We usually sit outside on the patio under the heaters with our dog, and they’re always super accommodating.
The servers are also genuinely kind, attentive, and knowledgeable — it’s consistently a great experience all around. Highly recommend”

“What a great local place for a good burger! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food was great. I had a cheeseburger combo. The meat was not greasy and melted in my mouth. The veggies were crispy and fresh. The owner is also extremely friendly and passionate.”

“This is our 4th time having Ellie’s Pizzeria. Our favorite so far is the cheese with the creamy garlic sauce . The all meat is amazing as well as the calzone. Can’t wait to try other things as everything we have tried has been fantastic. Highly recommend eating here 👍🏻”

“Finding it and parking can be tricky, but nice peple, good coffee, pastries were ok. Maybe if it wasnt called a croissant just a puff pastry the dissapointment might be less?
Harry potter is a bit cringe and political these days, not in a good way.
Coffee was on point.”
“Love everything about Shadowbrook winery. It's a hidden gem tucked right in the Northgate neighborhood. The ambience is stunning just like or better than any other upscale winery in Napa. This last visit we had dinner sharing the special short rib, the Burrata appetizer and the avocado salad and everything was delicious. Love that you can purchase just a glass or a bottle or even a beer if you're non-wine drinker. It's our go to spot when we have friends come in from out of town.”
“Excellent sushi again and again. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great service and fresh fish every time.”
“Delicious! There was nothing that we regret ordering! Big servings. Very attentive servers even if it got busy! I’ll keep coming back!”

“Nothing but a 5-star experience at Tanoshi. Great value for their combo - at $14? Am I even living in 2026?! I doubt this will last long... And the food was amazing! Katsu and tempura were very well executed - even stayed crunchy after the whole meal. Raw fish taste fresh. Miso soup was well balanced. The salad was well dressed... What else can I say? Hmmm with such good quality of food and great pricing, their decoration was also very pleasant - their bathrooms were also well decorated!
Ok, nothing is perfect. Two things here. 1 - Low on staff. This place can get very busy and you might have to wait in line for a while. 2 - Shrimp tempura was the biggest disappointment. Microscopic shrimp with a thick blanket of flour. Still, couldn't recommend this place more.”
“The Library Social Club was the PERFECT place for a gathering of old friends. Extensive wine list, tasty small bites, comfortable and elegant setting, attentive service...and truly best of all...the music was loud enough to add ambience, but low enough that we could easily talk and visit. Highly recommend!”
“Hakashi is truly one of the best sushi restaurants in the East Bay. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and they add their own creative twist with unique flavors and presentation. Their drinks also have a personalized touch, definitely try the tamarind and hibiscus mocktail. For sushi rolls, the 49er and the Hakashi roll are must-tries, with the Hakashi roll being my personal favorite.”
“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.”
“Wonderful staff, food is fresh and delicious. Consistent quality and warmth of environment. - Don Dikun”

“Taqueria La Plaza is a neighborhood gem!
My husband and I love walking here for lunch: He usually gets a burrito and I go between enchiladas and a breakfast burrito (which is offered ALL DAY!). There are so many meat choices! They throw in a bowl of chips and unlimited access to their salsa bar. I also enjoy their aqua fresca or horchata on occasion.
You can eat indoors or outdoors (both covered and sunny tables), or take your food to go.”
“First time in CA as an adult. Stopped by at Handel’s Homemade IC in Walnut Creek, CA. It was raining, and near store closing, and I was slightly sick.
I got the 4-combo sampler, with Mango Sherbet + Pistachio + Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie + OD (Ooohh Dough) and it was great. Shared it with others but I ended up finishing most of it.
Only thing that sucked is we had to run back in rain with the plastic lid closed. But otherwise the taste was great. I finished the rest of it in the car. My favorite was either CPB or OD, but the Pista was good too.
I’ll give it a pass. Nice ice cream shop; and they have a lotta flavors. Hope to be back if I’m in the area again.”
“If you enjoy good chocolate, this has to be your first stop! Belgium chocolate, a great selection , nice employees and owner. Grab a coffee and shortbread, or better yet, an espresso and chocolate (Louise and marron are favs) to enjoy at the bistro tables in front of the shop in cute downtown Walnut Creek. Makes the best gifts for family and business.”
“Great service delicious food cozy atmosphere. Awesome Happy Hour 👍👍👍👍👍”

“First time here. Super cute & chill vibe. Pic of food was after I ate one shrimp tempura then remembered I wanted a pic of our dinner. The presentation was much better when it arrived. One teriyaki chicken bento with shrimp tempura and a lion king roll was more than enough for two. Overall, super happy with quality and quantity of food. Definitely recommend trying out this place.”
“I always make an “excuse” to visit ØL. Such a great vibe, amazing curated selection of brews and down to earth staff. I lived in SF forever and moved out to the East Bay a few years back and this place is equal to or beyond some of the best beer cafes in the city. Huge thanks to the staff here - this place is awesome!”
“This is a perfectly adequate thai restaurant. It appears to be a small family operation, and they were nice enough and service was decent and food was edible. I understand that this restaurant has been here a long time, so it seems like a reliable option.
The atmosphere is okay. It's just a small restaurant with plain decor. Fairly basic but clean.”
“Prologue is an absolute treasure tucked inside the Walnut Creek Public Library, making it the perfect spot for book lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. Imagine checking out a book and then cozying up with a delicious cup of coffee and a fresh pastry—it doesn’t get better than this! The highlight of my visit is their Eggspresso. It’s a creamy, velvety masterpiece that pairs the boldness of espresso with an indulgent, smooth texture. A must-try for anyone looking for a unique coffee experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the welcoming presence of the owner adds such a personal touch and extra layer of hospitality to the space which is rare to find. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick pick-me-up or planning to spend the afternoon reading, Prologue is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!”
“My daughter and I had dinner here tonight. It's a cozy place, very clean, tables well spaced and the service is excellent. We had chicken and lamb kabobs. The meat was nicely spiced, flavorful not hot and cooked to perfection, moist and delicious. We also had the eggplant appetizer and will be ordering that again for sure on our next visit!”
“I cannot say enough good things about Lettuce in Walnut Creek. Every single dish we have tried has been absolutely fabulous and I do not use that word lightly. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and you can tell the team puts real love into what they do. Whether you are going for one of their signature salads, grain bowls, or something seasonal, it always hits that perfect balance of healthy and satisfying. It is one of the few places where eating clean does not feel like you are sacrificing taste. In fact, it is the opposite. You will leave feeling nourished and spoiled. The vibe is modern and inviting, the service is warm and efficient, and everything is just beautifully presented. It has become a go to spot for our family, especially when we want something fast but genuinely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone in the Walnut Creek area or passing through. Lettuce is doing something special and it shows in every bite.”
“It’s always a lovely time at Tellus coffee! The creative and delicious food and drinks, warm and inviting ambiance (that plant wall just makes me happy) and the super-kind and efficient baristas are the best! Thanks to owner Janae for all her hard work making Tellus a Walnut Creek fave!”
“This is a must try. Excellent food and wonderful hospitality. Very authentic! Go check them out. ❤🥰”

“The best premium frozen yogurt in town!! 🍦 My favorite is the classic chocolate vanilla swirl—it takes me right back to my childhood! 🥰 The owners, Heather and Aron, are the absolute sweetest, and they always create such a welcoming and fun atmosphere no matter the time of day. If you haven't been to Yogurt Spot yet, you’re missing out. Couldn't recommend it more!”
“One of the best small delis around the Bay Area! The place is small but the food is amazing! Great place to pick up a yummy sandwich (or other items) parkingis limited and can get busy quickly with a line out the door but it is definitely worth the wait! 10 out of 10 recommend”
“Authentic Mexican foods and artistic interior design .
They seem to be a part of a Restaurent chain with their own way of management.
They serves fishes and other types of foods. This branch is located in the heart of Walnut Creek shopping area and is far from main street.”

“The restaurant is the most authentic and upscale Mexican cuisine in California, and you would never know it. I don't write lengthy reviews, but to summarize: - The food is excellent - The drinks are even better! - The staff is kind and extremely polite/professional (despite what some of the haters say below - I don't have skin in the game here so trust me when I say they are lying). - And they play GREAT live music and carry a very fun, safe, and upscale vibe. Tell your friends about it, because all small businesses struggle and this is one I would personally love to see hit 4 stars+ on Yelp and more importantly bring a sense of cultural awareness to one of the best communities in the Bay Area (WC). Love,”

“We had such a great experience at The Cooperage! We’re visiting from Hawaiʻi and were really excited to finally try this place, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was delicious. Everything felt very classic and well done.
A special thank you to Sonia, the manager, who was incredibly attentive and checked on us throughout our visit to make sure everything was perfect. It really meant a lot and made the experience feel extra welcoming.
Our server Owen was also fantastic friendly, professional, and very attentive. He made great recommendations and took great care of us.
The whole team made us feel really welcome and we’re so glad we came while visiting from Hawaii . We’ll definitely recommend The Cooperage to friends and family who come to the mainland”

“We had a 630 reservation on a Friday night and we were rushed thru out entire meal. Our server Arleth came over about 10 times and that's not an exaggeration. It was very rude and then she told us she had to leave at 730 when she handed us the bill. It was too bad because we wanted to enjoy the food and drinks. One guy even asked if we wanted a box when we were still eating”

“Loved their strawberry matcha! It’s tucked in a small space but it’s a great hidden find. I would definitely go back to give their Filipino menu and ramen station a try. Also parking is slightly difficult but there are a lot of street parking and parking garages nearby.”
“I came just after closing on a Sunday night and the owners son was so loving and accommodating to me and my pregnant wife. He opened up for us and made us a delicious cheese pizza. This kind of loving service is almost nonexistent in today’s society. Thank you guys so much.”
“This place is one of the best places I've ever eaten at. Everything I try is wonderful and I have tried quite a few items! I keep thinking I'm going to need something like mayo, or hot sauce, or whatever... and their items are pretty wonderful without any help. And they are super friendly.”
“Great place overall! The food was excellent. We ordered the 6-piece wings—crispy and perfectly hot—and a personal pizza with sausage and mushrooms. It was the perfect amount for two people.
The kids’ area can get a bit hectic, as many parents sit while their kids run around. It might be helpful to have signs reminding parents that kids should be monitored at all times, especially around the video games. One child accidentally hit me with his sweater, and the parent was nowhere to be found—not Bare Bottle’s fault, just something that could be helped with a gentle reminder.
I also noticed some people using the parking lot for Trader Joe’s parking, so signage there could help as well.
The 21+ section is still developing, and I’m looking forward to seeing it fully come together—I’m hopeful it’ll be just as great as the rest of the space.
Overall, a really great spot and we’ll definitely be back”
“An absolutely mind blowing experience and meal. We went for brunch. We had the halva pancakes and pistachio French toast. The French toast was my favorite. The bread was crunch on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Great drinks as well. DJs were awesome. Music really set the mood for a good brunch.”
“What a great place to get some pastries! Do you have endless amounts of different kinds in these nice clean cabinets that you can reach in and grab what you'd like to have. Everything there is so delicious and fresh. The staff is kind and helpful and the atmosphere amazing. Treat yourself to something that will blow your mind!”
