“On one of my walks I passed by the restaurant and it opened my curiosity. I brought a friend for lunch today, to say the least, it was a very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent and very tasty, great atmosphere, the workers attentive and polite, as we were new they suggested what to eat, their choices were great. “Excellent middle Eastern food. The Mediterranean salad is exceptional. The shwarma is delicious as are the desserts. Very casual dining. Order at the counter and food is brought to the table. While waiting for food they bring tea to the table. A very nice touch.“

“We had Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani and it lived up to the billing that they should rename it to ChAr Minar. I was pleasantly surprised that the biryani tasted so authentic and delicious that for a moment I was transported to an Irani restaurant. We also ordered Rangooni Burmese Paratha stuffed with chicken pieces which was a bit spicy but tasty. The atmosphere is nice, clean and modest like a typical small restaurant where the food matters more than the decor. #HiddenGem“

“Put it in two words. Dam good. Had a lot other Ethiopian food, but this one tops them all in Bay Area. Plus the prize is much understandable.“

“Brunch with besties is already a treat, but here it's something really special. We had wonderful crepes, Turkish coffee, and it was my first time truing shakshuka. The atmosphere is soft and sumptuous, layered with rugs and sheepskin. The staff invited us to kick back and get cozy, and you can hardly help but relax and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!“

“The lemon potatoes are so simple yet delicious. The chicken skewers are always cooked perfectly. The seasonal watermelon salad is SO good, my only suggestion would be to add pistachios or something for crunch. I stop here for lunch quite a bit and the food and friendly service are always consistent. Ordering ahead and picking up is also super easy on their app, though when I’ve walked in they’ve been fast without sacrificing yummy.“

The service was good overall, although it did take longer than expected for our food to arrive after we placed our order. It was also a little confusing figuring out which order belonged to whom. It would be helpful if the orders were clearly marked with names or table numbers to make things easier.

The ambiance was one of the highlights. The restaurant has a great modern-industrial design that gives the space a stylish but relaxed feel. They also offer outdoor seating, which is a nice option when you want to enjoy your meal outside.
