“On one of my walks I passed by the restaurant and it opened my curiosity. I brought a friend for lunch today, to say the least, it was a very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent and very tasty, great atmosphere, the workers attentive and polite, as we were new they suggested what to eat, their choices were great. “The chicken gyro bowl here was super good. The food came out really fast and the fries were super fresh. Everything in the bowl was really good, fresh ingredients, and hot. It was the perfect amount of food and the packaging was so cute. We had a miscommunication about the student discount, but the owner reached out to me and was super kind about it. This place is owned by good people and has amazing food! I highly recommend :)“

“My first time here. Got a bowl with lamb and beef shwarma and added some veggies. Wow. I thought it might be small portions, too much greens or rice. Nope. It was really nicely balanced with plenty of meat. I really enjoyed this and it was VERY filling. My wife could only est half of hers. Delicious and reasonably priced too! We'll be back!!!!!!“

“I'm not from around here. Finished a work meeting and someone recommended a nearby kebab shop for Shawarma, but I prefer to support local over a chain--I'm sure both would've been good. Food was prepared fresh (didn't seem to be frozen falafel, for example). I ordered the combo (chicken + lamb) shawarma (wrap) with a side of falafel. Was fantastic, hot, prepared quickly, and service was ON POINT. Super friendly. Very pleased with my decision. The dining room isn't anything too special, but the food is what mattered. Highly recommended!“

I highly recommend the gyros, salmon plate, shrimp, dolmas, tzatziki, and rice pilaf. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the grilled Mediterranean flavor they achieve is simply fantastic. We’ll definitely keep coming back and are so glad to have this wonderful, healthy Mediterranean restaurant in Danville.“

“Recently, we had family over and decided to oder from The Great Greek in San Ramon. The total order was over $350. I had some specific requests for my order and called the restaurant directly to make sure they knew exactly what I was trying to order.
The young man who that took my order was patient, attentive and understood what I wanted. The order was prepared exactly as I had requested. The meats and shrimp cooked just right and the rest of the order was perfect. I have to praise the person who took my order and the cook that prepared the meal. Everything went smoothly and one of them even helped me to bring my order to the car. This is not the first time I ordered or dined at The Great Greek and certainly recommended the restaurant to anyone who wants to experience Greek food, it's great. Thank you!“
