“First I want to say Meyhouse deserves more visibility for its great food and service! I still remember my first dining experience here, the bread is so so delicious!! All the dishes we ordered are full of favor!! I used to like DishDash, but meyhouse is way better in term of the food quality! The service here is also very impressive! people are friendly and happy here! I haven't tried their Palo Alto location yet, I bet it would be a good one since it was run in the same owner.“
“A casual version of Dishdash in Downtown Sunnyvale. I thought it was a fake, but it turned out to be a proper affiliated store. Although it doesn't have the atmosphere of a high-end restaurant, the food is just as delicious as Dishdash, and you can enjoy hearty Middle Eastern cuisine. It's always crowded and it's hard to find a parking spot.Parking: Finding a parking spot depends on your luck.“
“Seriously, and I don’t take this lightly, this is my favorite Shawarma place in the bay. The staff is so friendly sometimes when you go into a place, you just feel like somebody is there for the paycheck, however, these guys lived in breathe Shawarma.I’d go here for dinner, lunch, a quick snack, really any use case. This is a must stop by. Bring your friends bring your family.I recommend this restaurant“
“One of the best Persian restaurants in the area. We absolutely loved the food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We didn’t make a reservation but since we went early around 6pm, we were able to get a table immediately. We can't wait to return for delicious food!“
“Nice casual setting. We ordered to go but ended up eating right there. Parking is across the street in the parking lot... can be tricky to find parking at times as it's mostly full. Ordered the pomegranate chicken bowl. It similar to the chipotle concept where you can opt for as many or as little things. I opted in for every single item there (except multiple meats, of course) It comes on a bed of turmeric rice and mixed greens. Got both egg plant and sumac cauliflower as the hot toppings ( these were the highlights- buth are exceptionally yummy). Then the tzatziki, hummus and garlic spread. Then tomato/cucumber mix, garbanzo beans, diced beets, sumac onions, pickles and cabbage, cherry peppers. Added the mint sauce and spicy tahini sauce. When you order in store, it comes with a bowl of lentil soup. The bowl easily lasts for 2 meals for me. And all this for $16 including taxes!“
“The place is very casual, but the food is extraordinary! Lamb chops and salmon shashlik were heavenly good! Soft, juicy, tasty! And eggplant puree was very delicious! The place is definitely worth coming to! I wish owners would decorate it cozier. The owners deserve a lot of praise as well, kinda, attentive, friendly. All in all, we will definitely come again, though there are place closer to us, but don't want to get disappointed with inferior food. So, see you soon Ali and his kind wife!“
“We have been to DishDash many times and previously I have always thought of it as a 5 star place. The service is always good and the dishes are well-presented.However yesterday we ventured away from our typical dishes, Maza Sampler and Reyash. The Rihan appetizer was good but next time maybe we should try the Babaghanouge. My wife enjoyed her Tiki Kebab with Brussels Sprouts but I was pretty disappointed with my Tabsi Falafel. It tasted more like a typical American stew except with Falafels. At least the Falafels were excellent. The other two vegetarian entree choices did not look too appealing which is why I think in the past I always ended up just getting the Maza Sampler.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian entree options.“
