Falafel STOP Reviews
I’m honestly surprised I didn’t discover this spot sooner. I had heard of it before, but this was my first visit and I was really impressed. It is a large, cozy space with simple interiors and a very busy kitchen, which says a lot about how much traffic they get. The food definitely lived up to the popularity.

Falafel STOP is a popular middle-eastern restaurant in the heart of Silicon Valley, serving fresh and healthy food. The menu offers a wide range of vegetarian options, including a full vegetarian menu. The portions are generous, and the staff is cheerful. The falafels are a standout, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The restaurant also offers a variety of flavors, including chicken shawarma and classic hummus. The quality of the food is really good, with falafels that are a significant step above other places like Falafel Drive-in and Oren’s. Customers praise the generous portions and the friendly owner and staff, who treat visitors like family and often offer small sides on the house to try more items. Eating immediately at the restaurant keeps the food crispy and well-seasoned, not greasy at all. Some reviews mention that the food is consistently good and that the restaurant is a great place to enjoy a casual meal. The enclosed patio seating makes the outdoor area nicer, although the ambiance is still basic. The restaurant is busy during weekdays at lunch, especially with a high school nearby, and parking can be tricky. The owner sometimes parks his antique cars or Cybertruck in spots, which adds a bit of character. The vegan food is prepared separately from meat dishes. Customers often recommend the falafel in a pita or chicken shawarma in a pita wrap, especially with a side of falafels. The fries can be hit or miss—sometimes crispy and well-seasoned, other times soggy and only salted. Orders are placed inside, then picked up at another line. During evening DoorDash orders, customers sometimes receive a crispy cauliflower on the falafel salad, which is a bit strange. The restaurant’s falafel salad is considered a masterpiece, and the falafel remains just as good as years ago. The falafel is perfectly crisp outside and tender inside, and the chicken and beef shawarma are flavorful and filling. Despite its modest exterior, the food speaks for itself with unbeatable prices, quick service, and delicious portions. Overall, Falafel STOP is valued for its great quality, friendly service, and good value, making it a top choice for a casual and satisfying meal.
