“We hosted our baby shower at the Grant Hall, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hall was spacious, elegant, and beautifully lit, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebration.

The food and service were outstanding. Every dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and we received so many compliments about the food.

We also appreciated how accommodating the team was with our custom food requests to better suit our traditional Indian baby shower. Their attention to detail and willingness to personalize the menu made the event even more special.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful event space with excellent food and exceptional service.

“We went to Surmai yesterday and honestly, the food was fabulous. We tried the prawn thali, the special thali, and the paplet thali, and every single dish hit the mark. We ended up so full we could barely move, but in the best way possible.

Chef Sheetal came by our table and was so warm and welcoming, it made the whole experience even better. You can tell there’s real care that goes into the food here.

We ordered the half lamb hot pot, it was tasty and had generous portion that came with a small side dish of tofu, vermicelli and vegetables. We recommend this dish and would suggest skipping the set lunch that seems to be more for non Chinese.”

“I’m honestly surprised I didn’t discover this spot sooner. I had heard of it before, but this was my first visit and I was really impressed. It is a large, cozy space with simple interiors and a very busy kitchen, which says a lot about how much traffic they get. The food definitely lived up to the popularity.

I ordered the chicken kebab with the hummus plate as the base. I originally wanted to try the majadera rice and lentils, but they were out of it, probably because I visited close to closing time. Thankfully, the hummus plate turned out to be an excellent choice. The chicken was incredibly tender and well seasoned, and it came with generous portions of hummus, baba ghanoush, onions, cilantro, pickles, purple cabbage, and other sides. They even included fries in the mix, and surprisingly, everything worked together really well. It was such a unique combination that I was genuinely impressed.

I also tried a couple of falafel balls out of curiosity, and they paired really well with the rest of the meal. The only small downside was that the soda was not as cold as I would have liked. The staff were nice, although understandably quite busy with the rush.

Overall, this was a fantastic Mediterranean food experience and easily one of the more interesting combinations I’ve tried. I absolutely recommend it and cannot wait to come back.”

Overall, it’s one of the stronger Korean BBQ options in San Jose. The only improvement would be offering more variety in banchan sides.

“I’ve been coming to this food truck since 2023, and it has genuinely become one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. The uncle who runs the place is always so friendly, humble, and soft-spoken, and that warmth makes the experience even better.

Coming from India, finding a vada pav that actually tastes authentic means a lot to me, and this place absolutely nails it. The vada is perfectly crispy on the outside and full flavourful and hot inside, and the combination of the authentic dry peanut chutney, onions, and green mirchi is just amazing. I’ve tried vada pav at so many popular places around the Bay Area—places people constantly recommend—and I can confidently say that this one is very hard to beat.

The chole bhature is another favorite of mine. Absolutely delicious—you really cannot complain about anything. I’ve also tried their masala puri and dahi papdi chaat, and both have been consistently good. This place has never disappointed me. And definitely try their falooda too!

I’ve even been one of those late-night customers calling just before closing and saying, “Uncle, I’m only 5 minutes away!” 😄 Even when everything is practically closed, he has been so accommodating and has kept my food ready for me. That kind of hospitality is something I really appreciate and remember.

If you love authentic Indian street food as they have lots of options, please give this little food truck a try. It deserves a lot more recognition. I’ve been coming here for years for a reason, and I’ll definitely keep coming back! ❤”

I ordered a cake from New York to be delivered in San Jose, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. They took my message over the phone and wrote it perfectly on the cake. I also requested rainbow sprinkles, and they went out of their way to make it happen.

The communication was great throughout. They coordinated everything so smoothly and even sent me a picture of the cake before it was delivered, which I really appreciated since I couldn’t be there in person.

The cake looked beautiful, tasted great, and their customer service was honestly what stood out the most. They made celebrating someone from across the country so easy. Highly recommend!”

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. I went out by myself to this Indian pizza place.
I bought the small (10 inches!) shahi paneer pizza for a brunch.
The aroma and the first two bites were so delicious, and it soon became somewhat monotonous and I started feeling full.
The small pizza surely can feed more than one person.

The place was not busy, and then came a care-giving group (Aim Higher, an adult disability services) who bought pizzas for some troubled middle-aged people. I had some extra slices, and I enquired if I am allowed to give my untouched pizza slices to them. They were happy to take them.”

The cream puff she had me try was very savory and perfectly creamy and just the right sweetness. I go to the one in the old Galleria Plaza all this time, but this location tops it. The noice doesn’t resound here and all the pastries are in individual bags or kept in the display racks with the sliding doors. In other locations their pastries are open to germs since the pastries are just there without a sliding doors to keep their pastries from peoples coughs and other airborne free radicals in the air. I love the deli and bakery once you been there you don't want to make the Korean side dishes anymore. Save your time and just buy it in the deli section. “I’m honestly surprised I didn’t discover this spot sooner. I had heard of it before, but this was my first visit and I was really impressed. It is a large, cozy space with simple interiors and a very busy kitchen, which says a lot about how much traffic they get. The food definitely lived up to the popularity.

I ordered the chicken kebab with the hummus plate as the base. I originally wanted to try the majadera rice and lentils, but they were out of it, probably because I visited close to closing time. Thankfully, the hummus plate turned out to be an excellent choice. The chicken was incredibly tender and well seasoned, and it came with generous portions of hummus, baba ghanoush, onions, cilantro, pickles, purple cabbage, and other sides. They even included fries in the mix, and surprisingly, everything worked together really well. It was such a unique combination that I was genuinely impressed.

I also tried a couple of falafel balls out of curiosity, and they paired really well with the rest of the meal. The only small downside was that the soda was not as cold as I would have liked. The staff were nice, although understandably quite busy with the rush.

Overall, this was a fantastic Mediterranean food experience and easily one of the more interesting combinations I’ve tried. I absolutely recommend it and cannot wait to come back.”

“Ate there for the first time last weekend. Did the lunch buffet. Completely blown away. Every single thing I put on my plate was amazing. The vegetarian dishes were as outstanding as the meat ones. I can't even single out 1 or 2 dishes as really good, since everything was so good. There is a really large variety of dishes. The desserts were also great, especially the 2 Andhra ones (Double ka Meetha and the sweet balls). Wish I had left more room for dessert! The buffet is very reasonably priced, just based on the food. The fact that it also includes red wine and beer blows my mind. Here's the biggest compliment: I live an hour away, and I'm going back this weekend! With a different friend. “I’ve been coming to this food truck since 2023, and it has genuinely become one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. The uncle who runs the place is always so friendly, humble, and soft-spoken, and that warmth makes the experience even better.

Coming from India, finding a vada pav that actually tastes authentic means a lot to me, and this place absolutely nails it. The vada is perfectly crispy on the outside and full flavourful and hot inside, and the combination of the authentic dry peanut chutney, onions, and green mirchi is just amazing. I’ve tried vada pav at so many popular places around the Bay Area—places people constantly recommend—and I can confidently say that this one is very hard to beat.

The chole bhature is another favorite of mine. Absolutely delicious—you really cannot complain about anything. I’ve also tried their masala puri and dahi papdi chaat, and both have been consistently good. This place has never disappointed me. And definitely try their falooda too!

I’ve even been one of those late-night customers calling just before closing and saying, “Uncle, I’m only 5 minutes away!” 😄 Even when everything is practically closed, he has been so accommodating and has kept my food ready for me. That kind of hospitality is something I really appreciate and remember.

If you love authentic Indian street food as they have lots of options, please give this little food truck a try. It deserves a lot more recognition. I’ve been coming here for years for a reason, and I’ll definitely keep coming back! ❤”

I went out by myself to this Indian pizza place.
I bought the small (10 inches!) shahi paneer pizza for a brunch.
The aroma and the first two bites were so delicious, and it soon became somewhat monotonous and I started feeling full.
The small pizza surely can feed more than one person.

The place was not busy, and then came a care-giving group (Aim Higher, an adult disability services) who bought pizzas for some troubled middle-aged people. I had some extra slices, and I enquired if I am allowed to give my untouched pizza slices to them. They were happy to take them.”

I came to Eat More Pho and was honestly blown away by how clean, bright, and welcoming the restaurant was. A lot of pho restaurants can feel a little dated, so I really appreciated how fresh and comfortable this place felt. I would definitely bring friends and family here.

We ordered the short rib pho, combination pho, chicken wings, crispy fried egg rolls, galbi rice, flan, and Vietnamese egg coffee.

My must-orders are the short rib pho with the big bone-in rib, Vietnamese egg coffee, and flan. The egg rolls were also really crispy and delicious, and the galbi rice was another favorite.

I also loved how easy the menu was to choose from. There are plenty of options, but everything feels organized based on what you’re craving.

Overall, this is definitely a place I would come back to. Great food, very clean restaurant, and a comfortable atmosphere. I can see this becoming one of my regular spots in Sunnyvale!”
