“I was initially concerned about the quality since it’s an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! The meat was fresh, and the fruits were sweet and refreshing. You have the option to choose between hotpot or Korean BBQ, which is fantastic. I opted for the hotpot, and it was delicious. As a Korean, I found the napa kimchi wasn’t up to par, but the cucumber kimchi was excellent. There is a 90-minute time limit, so keep that in mind. The only thing that could have made the experience better would be if the drinks were complimentary. A tip for future diners: make sure to register on the waiting list beforehand, as it gets quite crowded after 6 PM. Overall, a great dining experience with a fantastic variety of fresh food. Highly recommended!“

“Ended up going here by chance and very happy we did! All the ingredients were prepared to perfection, good quality and fresh. We ended up sharing one box between the two of us for lunch as it is a fairly sized portion for one box. The staff was patient, well spoken and helpful. Definitely going here again and I hope they open more branches in south bay!“

“What a hidden gem! I work just down the street and was looking for a place that had a simple bowl of protein and rice that wasn’t too expensive. Found this place on Yelp and seeing the good reviews I went to try it out, so glad I did!! I was shocked that I was able to get a decent size BBQ chicken bowl for just $15.00. Nowadays that’s unheard of. The owner was really welcoming and sweet. Highly recommend!!“

“We've been here twice, the meats are pretty good, the barbecue sauce is pretty good, I like how they have the Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda available, not many places do. I always spring for a barbecue sandwich and have enjoyed those both times. I honestly didn't like the cornbread that much the first time, but having it a second time, although it does lack the sweetness many other cornbreads have, it has some good, subtle flavor to it, seems pretty fresh, and otherwise was very good. It really doesn't need all that added sugar that most others have. If I'm in the area again and have a craving for barbecue, I would definitely return.“

“We ordered Southwest Winchester BBQ for a company lunch of 60 people. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. This is an establishment that is there for you!! From my first phone call to our delivery and set up these people take care of their customers. Thank you so much. The food was fantastic!! BBQ ribs, Tritip, chicken, Pork and hot links, potato salad (yum!!), Mac and cheese and coleslaw with plenty of garlic bread. DELICIOUS!! I was so proud of my luncheon. Thank you!!!“

“It was kinda slow as I was there a little past their rush but a great time to get good service. Sadly they close way way way too early for me which was quite disappointing as I personally feel there's so much more potential for late night revenue if they stayed open even after closing the kitchen. I basically had 3 different people serving me and would go back for any one of them. They were all super nice and attentive. Food and drinks were great and prices are favorable. It's not a cheap place to eat but for the type of establishment it is they're priced fairly and not overpriced like many places of the same class. I had a Hickory BBQ bacon cheeseburger myself which comes with a side of your choice. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare and medium rare is what i got. ❤️ The flavor? Mmh! Amazing! I'm looking very forward to my next trip there. They also have a full bar at that location. I know they're a family oriented business but I feel they'd also do well after family hours but maybe they're satisfied with what they got and aren't needing the money. I understand many establishments prefer to cater only to specific clientele and that's understandable but many would love to see them expand and would support it. ?? For now they close at 8:30 which seems to be a typical norm for that area so get there early and enjoy. ?

Vegetarian options: It's not a vegetarian establishment but there's salads etc with no meat and I believe a meat free burger choice

Parking: Parking can be somewhat limited if it gets busy especially since there are multiple business establishments that all share common parking areas. I happened to get there at a slower time and had no issue with close up parking. There's also a shopping center across the road that could be used if parking is scarce.

Kid-friendliness: It's definitely family oriented and have games there to confirm it. Might be a great place for birthday parties, etc.

Wheelchair accessibility: Most definitely ADA compliant with handicap accessible amenities.“

“We have been to many Korean BBQ places but this was our first visit to Baekjeong. We enjoyed the visual space, from the high ceilings and natural light to the branded lights inside. The hoods add a fun industrial vibe.

We also enjoyed having the food cooked for us. However one of the tradeoffs of the “team service” concept is that not all of the servers had equal attention/skill. We once were told “it’s ready to eat any time” and upon lifting a piece of meat found a completely raw piece below it.

The food was generally quite good if not great, except for the marinaded pork which was delicious. The beef cuts had excessive gristle, and the lack of seasoning made the pork boring — but the marinaded pork was a highlight. We found ourselves wishing for a traditional sauce station to brighten up the flavors.

The seafood pancake got mixed reviews — tasty and crispy but very oily. The kimchi and other unlimited sides were tasty, albeit a little plain. (See photo with menu.)

In addition to the seafood pancake we ordered the “large” special combo for 3 adults. We could have managed with the small portion.

Our main complaint is that it was so noisy that we could not have a 3 person conversation. The hard surfaces are not very forgiving. Because of this we do not plan on a repeat visit.“

“I came here with friends for the first time. Everything was good except the beef back straps. That dish was super rubbery. We spit that thing out. Please avoid this dish! It was a deal, but totally not worth it at all. The 10 piece lamb bbq was good along with the lotus root and chicken feet. I had the lucky beer, which was good, too; I loved the bottle. I bought more outside to use as a planter lol

“I just discovered this place near the Cisco offices. I had the brisket, smoked cabbage (!) and honey-roasted brussels sprouts. Love the decor! Very Texas: Shiner Bock available, and a Pepsi fountain with syrup add-ins. Collin, the friendly pit-master recommended the ribs, which I will try next time. He's relocated to the Bay Area from Texas and is bring that experience here. Also like the BBQ sauces (mild and spicy), and the house-pickled jalapeno peppers. Ask for honey butter!“

“Wow! This place is amazing. The food was supreme. Our server Oswaldo was kind, prompt, courteous and went above and beyond. This was a peak dining experience for sure. My ONLY complaint is the environment is really dusty?? The bathroom was surprisingly dusty and so was the gender seating area. “First of all, let me say that the service was kind and friendly. I went with my daughter, who the employees engaged with in a sweet manner from entrance to exit. It helped that we were the only customers, but for the employees to be so engaged at a slow time says something about the establishment. Now, the location is old and not the cleanest. But L&L has always been more of a grab n' go place. For the 20+ years I've been to these restaurants, from Southern to Northern California, I've rarely seen people eat in them. None of them have been very clean. We come for the generous portions, macaroni salad and luau luau pork they cook upon order.“

“The best Korean food I’ve ever had in my life! Their beef stew exceeded my expectation so much, it was super flavourful and tender. The best thing about it was it was full of big chunks of meat, so it was definitely enough for 3 very hungry adults, no need to be shy about taking the meat from the pot into your bowl! We added the cheese for extra flavour and performance lol! Also, their kimchi had the right spice level and of course you can refill them! The staff were nice too. Nov 24 update. If u order doordash, do not order salt and pepper prawns. Prawns have heads and shells on them. Ugh. No photo on doordash. I usually order salt n pepper fish!

“Having grown up and living in the South bay for most of my life, it’s comforting knowing that the owner who operates this restaurant has not changed in the 30+ years they have been in business. The food and service here are excellent. The only thing is parking can be a challenge sometimes. My friends and I usually order the combo 4 with doenjang stew (fermented soybean). Her kimchi and doenjang stew is the best in the South Bay. And if you want the teobokki that is like you get in Korea, they make it with the perfect blend of spicy and sweetness“
