We ordered the seafood pancake and the combo of pork belly and tofu soup. They quickly served us with 8 varieties of banchan. I was a tad disappointed that we didn't get asked like the tables around us if we wanted any refills on the banchan. I felt like once we ordered and our food came out, we turned into red-headed step-children, and they forgot about Dre. The food was good. Comparable to Tofu House in Newark. The seafood pancake was hefty. She's a big girl. One could get full just off of that. We probably would return if in the mood for Korean food.“

Everything was delicious and you could tell the owner truly cared about his restaurant and every dish that came out. He recommended the bulgogi japchae, the sweet and spicy chicken, and the potstickers. (Sorry for not getting exact names right) I ordered the soy garlic chicken as well. “My boyfriend and I always come to this place whenever we crave skewers. There's no fancy decoration, it's just like eating at a house of a Chinese family. But, their skewers are really good. I do love the eggplant and steamed bun slices. It's a small mom-and-pop restaurant. They always try to communicate with us in English as much as they can. And they always welcome us. We opted for the Omakase Stone Grill Meat for 2-4 persons. It came with wagyu beefs, toro, short rib galbis, prawns, squids, pork belly cuts and sausages. The set also came with wagyu beef clay pot rice. We also ordered miso soups and ahi poke salad for starters. I think the portions were generous and the food tasted great. Clay pot rice was mom’s favorite, though it wasn’t served in a clay pot so no crispy rice on the bottom like I was expecting. Our server was very nice and attentive without being disruptive. Definitely would go back again. However, a constructive criticism for the management. Pls keep your floors and bathroom clean at all times. “Came here on a Saturday afternoon. No line, but food took 15-20 min to cook. Nice that it's cooked fresh, and we took the opportunity to walk around the local street fare while we waited. We got the mahi mahi fish and taro chips. My kids love fried fish, but the youngest found it too spicy (he's very sensitive). I loved the fish, it was my favorite out of everything I ordered. My kids loved the taro chips. I also got the lamb plate with the palau. Tasty. My daughter liked the lamb. The sausage had a bit of kick to it. I got extra mango salad instead of the cassava. They were not cleaned after people let them.The food was delicious! No two minds about this. In some aspects, even better than Zareens. “Went to Wah Jee Wah for the first time. Gave me the feel of roadside restaurants in India without the grime and dirt. Line was long and the parties ahead of us were indecisive and took forever to order which was annoying. There's a huge menu on the wall so it would be helpful t9 know what you want before holding up the line. You order first and then you can sit right outside the ordering window, inside, or the covered patio. We ordered gol gappe, chicken skewer combo, butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi. There was some confusion with the gol gappe. There's a cart in front and you are supposed to get a ticket to get the gol gappe. We never got a ticket and weren't sure of the system. We took our number and sat in the outside patio. The first item that came was the butter chicken. It was tasty, but then the rest of the order did not come for a long time which sucked because by the time the naan came the butter chicken was lukewarm. I wish they brought the dishes at once or all together. The garlic naan and chicken skewer combo was good. The special sauce with the combo is the curry from the butter chicken. The mango was lassi was not good! It was watery and very tart! I would not get this drink again. Staff was helpful and attentive especially with figuring out the goal gappe situation which we ended up going to the cart at the end of the meal when we were pretty full. Wish we got the ticket at the start so we could have had those first. Other than that the food was great and the serving staff were super kind even though they were super busy! I'd come back and try the chole bhature which look really good!“

I come upon Sacred Pig, a BBQ spot. Low and behold the food was good. I ordered a 3 meat combo, chicken, ribs, and pork belly. Sides were mac&cheese, and potatoe salad. The ribs were in my opinion cooked perfectly. The pork belly delicious. The potato salad was a hit. An what can I say about that yard bird, off the grill so yum yum. She also brought us soooo many bonchons (note you do have to order an entree for bonchons) We ordered a lot of food which did take some time to trickle out but we understand as Gina seems to be the only server that night. Korean pancake - 4.5/5 I loved this one cause it was thick and very crispy. My friend did say she prefers the pancake at Sisters House tho because it's thinner there Tofu soup - 3.5/5 it was a lil underwhelming and not salty enough and I feel it was missing a little depth of flavor. My friend and I both prefer the tofu soup at Sisters House BBQ Pork Sizzling Platter - wasn't very well charred. I don't usually get sizzling platters but the ones at Sisters House is better The fried chicken - 4.5/5 very good! I liked the crispiness of the chicken and inside was juicy. You do have to pay extra $2 for flavoring or for it to be crispy so keep that in mind. We did dip this into our tteokbokki/sausage sauce which Gina recommended Tteokbokki/sausage skewers - 3/5 I thought it was just okay for the price of what it was lol. I don't love the sausage but the tteokbokki did have a nice lil crisp to it on the outside but with that familiar chew once you get to the center“

When you get inside it's a bit overwhelming due to numerous menus all over with different items and combinations as well as being surrounded by a large L shape counter of food to look at and order from. This spot is small and is full of boxes when you walk in. There is no seating inside or outside. It's an order and go kinda place. The woman helping us was very friendly and even gave us a fried fish piece. They gave us very large portions as well. I had the bbq pork and chow mein combo. You can pick between thick or thin noodle chow mein and they top it off with steamed cabbage. The noddles were pretty tasty but were a bit oily for my liking. The bbq pork had a nice flavor and I really appreciate the generous helping. It did have quite a bit of fat in between the pieces so I had to dissect most of it. I don't know if that's something they could really control though. The steamed buns with red bean paste was the shining star! In the past I haven't been a big fan of red bean paste but these buns have converted me. They were soft and bouncy with a good amount of red bean paste. It wasn't too sweet either. It complimented the bun nicely. Overall I would come back and try them again and will for sure order more steamed buns.“

“I kept driving past this place and finally stopped in. The reviews don't lie! Then roast pork is so good!! The skin is crispy perfection and the pork is seasoned so well. The roast duck is also really good and comes with a sauce. I grabbed the last of the roast pork and the last of the bbq pork buns that Yelpers said was yummy. My hubby and I grew up eating those from places off Clement Street in SF and are our fave. He said he's had better in SF, but these were the best he's had in the East bay. You don't find much restaurants like Meat Time in the Bay Area... at least to my knowledge. I've been here twice. First time when it opened, I went with my family and they paid for everything (a la carte). I just know the price was expensive and the food I put in my mouth was delicious. This time, I celebrated my friend's birthday as a party of 8. It seems like the maximum you can hold at a table is 8 and any more would probably have to be split up. Interior is on the darker side, but very neat! We got the AYCE option which comes with four different main meats. One person can order one meat at a time. At the top of my head, there was the brisket with egg dipping sauce, pork belly, pork cheek, and squid. Squid was whatever. Pork belly is okay. I liked the pork cheek. But the brisket is AMAZING! It isn't chewy like how Gen's and other KBBQ spots are, and the texture is just right. The sauces they give you compliment the brisket. You can also get other meat options at the expense of paying more per plate. There was galbi, sirloin, and beef tongue. Probably something else but my friends ordered the galbi and sirloin. Definitely tasty, but I'm not willing to pay more than I need to for AYCE. Their tofu, curry rice, and karaage are really good as side dishes/appetizers/snacks. You can order as much as you want. I think my only complaint is that the meat can come out pretty slow and/or staggered. Service isn't THAT attentive, but that was because I was the one that tried to get their attention like every other minute. They're definitely staffed quite on the low side so I didn't mind too much. They are kind which makes up for it.“
