“I just had lunch here with my mom, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much since we eat Korean food at home every day. But I have to say, this was the most memorable Korean restaurant experience we’ve had in a really long time.

The food was done right, and I could truly taste the effort put into every dish. The banchan was perfectly seasoned, cooked to the right texture, fresh, incredibly balanced, and so generous. I had the kimchi tofu soup and the pork belly combo. Again, both dishes tasted exactly like what they should have tasted like, not masked by intense or unnecessary flavors, but balanced and pleasant.

I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed every single banchan and dish that was served on the table. I used to find myself driving from Fremont down to Santa Clara for my fill of soondubu, but there is really no need anymore. This place exceeded all expectations, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for good, authentic Korean food.“

“Ate here for the first time and will 100% be back. We got their brisket sandwich, Mac &meat with pulled pork on top, beans, cornbread, and fried pickles. The owner told us he brought the recipe for the fried pickles here with him from Arkansas and they were hands down the best I’ve had- super light but extremely flavorful. And the in-house made BBQ sauce was incredible. Highly recommend!“

“I went to this place for the first time last Sunday and ordered 2 pastrami melts, a 1/2 pound of brisket, and a brisket slider with fries. “This restaurant is very 67, the staff is so tuff and sigma. I got served 41 mangoes with mustard. Diddy and Epstein was here with Mason server the table. They ordered Adrian’s effoc with 67 mangoes. Highly recommend this tuff ahh restaurant.“

This place has the best tandoori meats and today I got to try a pani puri too and man!!! did my taste buds transport to New Delhi days or what!!! I ordered a combo plate with lamb chops and lamb sheesh kabob. Perhaps the most tender and meatiest lamb chops ever and amazing value for money. The owner himself is vegetarian, yet seems to have perfected meat and veg tandoor dishes. this place is Magic!“

“It is so great to find that hayward finally has some good Chinese bbq! I no longer have to drive far when I crave for some roasted duck! And that was exactly what I ordered today. It is fresh with good flavor. You know it’s a legit Chinese roasted duck when you can taste the star anise! I will definitely return to try the other items! Pro tip - parking can be terrible, so just go further down the lot towards auto zone. There’s always plenty of parking there.“

“Tried the spicy combination suyuk, a hotpot with beef tendon, beef brisket, ox tail, etc., chives and mushroom. The soup base is tasty and the portion is generous with small kimchi dishes. Overall the beef is tender but not quite the premium beef quality we can get for hotpot in other places. The price is on the high side so we hope for more premium quality. Overall we enjoy the dish.“

“Interesting BBQ joint. Came here as a large party and took the entire restaurant and indoor seating area. Roughly 100 people. The grills on the table were warming trays and the skewers were brought to the table fully cooked. It's definitely an experience and has traditional Chinese street vendor BBQ vibes although the quality of the ingredients is average. They do have some unique prepared dishes which I enjoyed from the vermicelli garlic scallops and oysters that were super tasty.“

“This was a great treat having all of the grilled food with a very tasty sauce. Very unique experience that I have not seen before. My only nits would be didn't feel fresh off the grill (likely cooked ahead of time) and very small food on the stick so seemed like a waste of skewers for the tiny portion. They did give you enough overall food just too much waste.“

“Best soon dubu I’ve ever had in the Bay. This could rival any place in LA’s K-town and is miles better than anything you can find in East Bay.

The broth is so deep, savory and flavorful that you can taste it in the tofu, which soaks up the seasoning beautifully. Also, I could taste that they might season their mushrooms and beef before boiling it in the soup. These are small details that make this place really special.

“Bob Sang Restaurant is a hidden gem near the Tesla plant in Fremont. So far, I've tried the Galbitang, Kimchi Jigae, Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, and the latest is Seoul Style Bulgogi – really great with very tender marinated beef – tasty!

Had their seafood combo with chicken, while nothing was stand out amongst the three, all where pretty good.

Their chicken katsu musubi while pricy was great. Their mac salad while decent was a bit loose.

Every crew member here is super friendly, warm and efficient. The price is very reasonable for all-you-can-eat, considering the area it is located in. Their hot food options are good with a few exceptions. Their orange chickens batter is extremely soggy due to how the batter takes in the sauce but their salt and pepper fish and chicken are a lot of people’s favorites and for good reason. Their dim sum options are brought in from an outside source but despite that, they do the job well for anyone looking for a quick dim sum fix. Overall, for my Chinese bbq needs and even lunch, this place is worth it.“

“Katsu Chicken. I don't know what it is about this place, but theirs is the best, Ive ever had. Every time it's fried to perfection. Not the most inviting place in the world; decour is dated, seating isn't the best, but the Katsu Chicken more than makes up for it. My guilty pleasure“

“This place is humble but is quite awesome! I'm not a lover of tofu, but Mom's does an excellent job of making it well! I recommend the bugogi of course, but also the pork kimchi soup was really good! I'm not Korean, or even Asian for that matter, but that soup felt like a home cooked meal from a loved one. “This fried chicken was so good!! All white meat, boneless and skinless. The breading is SO well seasoned and there’s lots of it to crunch on! I ordered the tenders, which were real pieces of chicken and not in uniformed, machine-cut shapes. I got a biscuit with my dish which was totally legit based on the southern cooking I’ve had in past. Steaming hot and moist. Not buttery so possibly made with lard. I had veggies for a side to try to ease my guilt for all the other calories. Those were definitely fresh, seasoned, and varied. Our table wasn’t clean but I didn’t care after walking around for 8 hours with two boys.“
