“Wow! This place is amazing. The food was supreme. Our server Oswaldo was kind, prompt, courteous and went above and beyond. This was a peak dining experience for sure. My ONLY complaint is the environment is really dusty?? The bathroom was surprisingly dusty and so was the gender seating area. However, the dust doesn’t change my rating and I will definitely come back. This was one of the best experiences yet! Try the wagyu, bulgogi, brisket, prime rib, and sesame balls!“

“Great staff, actually amazing staff both front end and cooks. Great L & L location. Food is consistently awesome here, no joke.
Try the cheeseburger, it's like $4.25 and sooo good too. Has a sweet teriyaki taste too it but subtle ...Fries and crispy golden if you get the combo.
Try skinless and well done chicken BBQ plate.
These guys rock.

“This is the Mongolian BBQ spot I used to hit up in my early twenties, back when life was golden. I was there every weekend. Even after a decade, it’s still going strong, so you know it’s gotta be amazing. Definitely check it out. Highly recommend!“

“Really nice and cozy All You Can Eat Korean BBQ + Hotpot play! Good price and the food is delicious! Although with only a few choices of meat, they are quality and well marinated. The hotpot is rich in flavor and extremely warming and satisfying. 10/10 would recommend going with friends!!“

“We took a group of senior residents to this restaurant, and we were greeted at the door with the smiles and a warm welcome, excellent service, and it was my first time ever having Korean barbecue food. The food is amazing. I would definitely come back again for more.
Parking: Plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to move around.“

“Ended up going here by chance and very happy we did! All the ingredients were prepared to perfection, good quality and fresh. We ended up sharing one box between the two of us for lunch as it is a fairly sized portion for one box. The staff was patient, well spoken and helpful. Definitely going here again and I hope they open more branches in south bay!“

“Hidden gem. It has a make your own plate kind of a noodle option. You can customize it the way you want, they make the dish with your ingredients in front of you. They have meat and vegetable options. The price is a bit on the higher side but it's worth it.“

“So delicious!! When we saw this place opened we knew we had to try it. We loved the tri tip and the brisket. My husband got ribs and liked those too!! After visiting Georgia and South Carolina it’s hard to find BBQ as good but this comes as close as we have found in the Bay.“

“Service was fast, skewers were good, and grilled bone marrow was great! BUT, grilled fish was meh. IDK why it says in the menu grilled when it's clearly fried placed on a stew tray with warmer at the bottom, also expensiv its $24.99 for a half fried tilapia on stew.“

“Can't give enough stars.
Tried to phone in an order to save time because my puppy was in the car. They said
You can bring him in.
He's not house trained yet.
It's ok, bring him in. Is he cute?
He is.
Wow, above and beyond customer service.
I sat outside at a table with Waffles, they brought him multiple bowls of water.
I interacted with 4 or 5 staff one nicer than the next, all happy the puppy was there.
In my long life I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant.
The barbecue and sides, ALL proper.
Some nice fatty brisket, and ribs that we're great unsauced. And a variety of tasty sauces. Pickled things were perfect.
I'm a large person and their 2 meat plate is much more than I should eat, but I finished everything.
I live nowhere near Redwood City but I'm going there again.
Thanks to all of you.“

From my first phone call to our delivery and set up these people take care of their customers. Thank you so much. The food was fantastic!! BBQ ribs, Tritip, chicken, Pork and hot links, potato salad (yum!!), Mac and cheese and coleslaw with plenty of garlic bread. DELICIOUS!! I was so proud of my luncheon. Thank you!!!“

“We were not the most organized group of people when we came here. No one knew what they wanted we were a decently sized group and it took a while to get everything explained and handled. Their treatment of us was amazing they seemed to go out of their way to assist us and to be patient with us. The food was good I would definitely highly recommend coming here! Again the service was top-notch the kind of service that I appreciate when I go out to eat! Keep up the great work and if you are in the area go visit them!“

“We have been to many Korean BBQ places but this was our first visit to Baekjeong. We enjoyed the visual space, from the high ceilings and natural light to the branded lights inside. The hoods add a fun industrial vibe.
We also enjoyed having the food cooked for us. However one of the tradeoffs of the “team service” concept is that not all of the servers had equal attention/skill. We once were told “it’s ready to eat any time” and upon lifting a piece of meat found a completely raw piece below it.
The food was generally quite good if not great, except for the marinaded pork which was delicious. The beef cuts had excessive gristle, and the lack of seasoning made the pork boring — but the marinaded pork was a highlight. We found ourselves wishing for a traditional sauce station to brighten up the flavors.
The seafood pancake got mixed reviews — tasty and crispy but very oily. The kimchi and other unlimited sides were tasty, albeit a little plain. (See photo with menu.)
In addition to the seafood pancake we ordered the “large” special combo for 3 adults. We could have managed with the small portion.
Our main complaint is that it was so noisy that we could not have a 3 person conversation. The hard surfaces are not very forgiving. Because of this we do not plan on a repeat visit.“

“Food: only ordered vegetarian food and everything was amazing. Falafel was probably the softest I have ever had so far and the mezze sampler was also quite good. I'll recommend starting off with sampler and ordering anything you like as a separate dip. Street fries were also good. They have unlimited tea and the mint lemonade was super refreshing.
Service: this place has minimal interaction with servers as every table has a QR code to order food and pay when you order.
Atmosphere: divided into 3 parts outdoor, indoor and patio. Indoors is bright with open kitchen and patio is dark with plants, string lights and heaters. Sat in patio and loved the vibe.“

“Armadillo Willy’s is probably the quickest way to get Texas style BBQ in California.
I lived in Texas for a few years, and even though this place doesn’t quite hit that high mark, you’ll still get a damn good plate of BBQ here. Highly recommend it.“

“Had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and shared the BBQ Brisket appetizer. Both were really tasty! The Brisket Appetizer is served with garlic bread; it's basically a deconstructed sandwich that could be ordered as an entree. Very tender chunks of brisket drizzled with BBQ sauce. The pulled pork was tender and juicy with a nicely toasted bun. Their BBQ sauce is just the right balance for me of sweetness and vinegar. The service is incredible -- friendly and attentive on refills while we were eating. Highly recommended!“

“This restaurant masterfully blends the bold flavors of Mexican and Asian cuisines, delivering a truly unique and exciting dining experience. The food is consistently delicious, offering an authentic fusion that doesn’t sacrifice quality or flavor. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you get great value for your money while leaving fully satisfied. The balance of spices and ingredients shows a deep respect for both culinary traditions, making this spot a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in vibrant, flavorful dishes. Highly recommended for food lovers seeking something different yet authentic.“

“Expensive! Each string (not each order, see in pics) will cost 3-4 dollars with only like 5 small meat chunks . They taste as expected but didn’t surprisingly delicious — meaning I am looking for some native Chinese style taste, not from the spice I can do myself. Feels they missing something in their recipes. After all, if you are from a place had no Chinese style BBQs, you can try here, prepare about $60 for one person with medium amount of orders.“

“Tobang is a nice and tasty Korean BBQ place with a relaxed vibe. They offer set menus from $50 (with one meat choice) to $110 (with four meat choices). You get unlimited sides, and the kimchi is really crunchy and flavorful. The meat portions are big, and the service is friendly and welcoming. It’s good value for the money!“

“We came here recently because we didn't want to go the all you can eat Korean bbq spot. The fam just wanted a nice dinner without the crazy fast pace, and smelling like grilled meat afterwards lol. This place hit the spot, and had Japanese style pork tonkatsu! Everything was delicious, fresh quality, and super affordable compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. Will be coming back soon for round 2!“

“Ordered party platters for party of 30 the day before the party and it was ready on-time. Ordered medium trays but should have gotten small since we had other food. They are very generous and the meat is piled in the trays. We ordered spam musubi, chicken Katsu and bbq chicken. All were really good. I was eating the left overs for almost a week even after sending food home with everyone. Bbq was good everyday after. Katsu because it is fried was ok. I love the Katsu sauce. There was no musubi left over. We cut the spam musubi in half so everyone could have a piece. Not cheap but makes your life easier and tastes great.“

“Great food. We've been eating here since it was Cooking Papa. I had a cold so the sweet and sour soup made me feel better. My family loved the combo chow mein, tofu n veggies, n sweet and sour pork. Used doordash and Andrew delivered quickly!
Nov 24 update. If u order doordash, do not order salt and pepper prawns. Prawns have heads and shells on them. Ugh. No photo on doordash. I usually order salt n pepper fish!
Vegetarian options: Tofu and veggies“

“Having grown up and living in the South bay for most of my life, it’s comforting knowing that the owner who operates this restaurant has not changed in the 30+ years they have been in business. The food and service here are excellent. The only thing is parking can be a challenge sometimes. My friends and I usually order the combo 4 with doenjang stew (fermented soybean). Her kimchi and doenjang stew is the best in the South Bay. And if you want the teobokki that is like you get in Korea, they make it with the perfect blend of spicy and sweetness“

“It’s inside Hmart supermarket! Has plenty of parking spot during weekdays, it’s right off 85 freeway off DeAnza Blvd. perfect spot to stop by for road trip. Easy in and out, restroom break, and bought some snacks too. I recommend Soon Tofu soup, and Hotstone Bibimbap. Spicy Rice cake appetizer was good, if you like spicy stuff.“

“Make no mistake 10 Butchers is still our fav kbbq place, but it's always full and they have such a difficult manual booking system, and they are also very expensive, so we looked for alternatives. We saw this place next to Ranch 99 so we thought we'd give it a try!
It turns out to be a really good choice. They have set meals, but we wanted to have beef and pork so we ordered separately, with the bone-in rib eye and pork jowl. The ribeye is excellent, it didn't look much but after the server cut it up there're a lot of pieces! They didn't specify the source of the beef but it is so marbled and yummy, plus it is quite thick, you get mouthfuls of melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The jowl was great as well and there were a lot, almost too much because jowl meat is quite greasy. We topped it off with a bibimbap, and they gave us a pot of steamed eggs and scallion salad for free. This place is a very pleasant surprise and we'll definitely go again!“

“We've been here twice, the meats are pretty good, the barbecue sauce is pretty good, I like how they have the Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda available, not many places do. I always spring for a barbecue sandwich and have enjoyed those both times. I honestly didn't like the cornbread that much the first time, but having it a second time, although it does lack the sweetness many other cornbreads have, it has some good, subtle flavor to it, seems pretty fresh, and otherwise was very good. It really doesn't need all that added sugar that most others have. If I'm in the area again and have a craving for barbecue, I would definitely return.“
