“We haven't been here since the new owners. We had pulled pork plate with pineapple slaw & onion rings plus a baked potato. Pulled pork was so tender and moist. Bake potato was cooked to perfection. Beer and wine list are a little slim.Great service.Live music with Crossing Dana... They were very good with a great lead singer. We'll be back for sure!“

“My friend was hyping this place up so I decided to see if he spoke some truth to his statements. It didn't disappoint, but it didn't hit it out of the park either. Interior is very presentable. Clean and new. There are a lot of choices to pick from, but you get a limited quantity per category. You have their base, two base toppings, two scoops of protein, five toppings, two sauces (unfortunate), and then two sprinkles. The taste of the fish by itself is okay. Sauce is really good though. I was surprised at how much it was (about $3 more than what I'm used to paying) but their portions are very generous. I could not finish my bowl in one sitting when I always do. Hopefully the next time I come back, I'd find my go-to recipe!“

“My husband had the ribs, which were so juicy, tender and flavorful. I had the Mac and cheese, which was decent, black eyed peas, which were saltier than I like but still good, the rice and gravy, taste like my Granny's so good! Yams, amazing! And greens, I like mine a little more spicy, but they were very tender and flavorful. Looking forward to trying more on our next visit. Also not over priced and very nice portion sizes.“

“Went for the live music. It was Saint Patrick's Day and they were serving corned beef and cabbage in addition to their regular menu. The place was packed and I think the live music was a surprise to most of the patrons. The duet playing their own renditions of mostly Rock classics, Mary Ellen and Thom Duell were excellent and very engaging with the audience“

“First time visiting this place after seeing it on yelp. Looking for a great skewer place that was authentic (thinking of China). As we approached the entrance we were greeted by an amazing smell of grilled food. Everyone seemed very excited and the wait was long due to many hungry customers. The staff was very friendly and the food even before eating, I know it is fantastic just from the smell and looks.“

“Latin-Asian-Fusion is a great restaurant/catering business. We needed to figure out all the details for a baby shower with about 100 people. My daughter wanted it to be elegant and lovely for all. Roddy, the business owner answered a general search that I made on the internet. He suggested a great event space and every step of the way kept us informed of our plans and food selections for an absolutely fun and beautiful event. The food was spectacular, delicious and served in a first class, gorgeous display. All staff were very professional and kept the party well served.“

“Korean barbeque restaurant with selections of us beef, pork, and japanese wagyu. A lot of other options on the menu, helpful staff, but it seems like everything is very rush in here. We came here on a peak lunch time, we had to wait 30 minutes to get a seat. But overall, foods were great.“

“Casual hawaiian eatery located in the Maplewood Plaza. Bright space with wooden chairs and tables inside, and a few tables outside too. Employee took my order at the front counter (standard service), though there's a self-order kiosk as well. Order was ready in 5-10 minutes, no other customers at the time. Got the mini loco moco, and the meat, gravy, mac salad, everything was flavorful and satisfying... the mini size was sufficient for a filling meal. Based on taste, I'd say this would be one of my top 2 hawaiian spots in the south bay.“

“All my Korean dreams come true and just down the street from me! Highly recommend you check them out and support their small business. We came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. I've been craving Korean food and I'm so happy this place is so close to me. They've only been open for 6 months. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. The lady who took our order and served us is so cute and sweet. She doesn't speak English too well, but she was working hard and she was the only one front of the house! She takes care of all the patrons, the Doordash orders, the to go orders, refill waters, check you out, etc. We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, spicy beef stew, and the veggie pancake. Both were not spicy but tasted amazing! My husband said the stew is his fave soup of all time! The beef is shredded and it comes with glass noodles. I normally don't like seafood pancakes, but the veggie one here was fried to perfection. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The braised short ribs had great flavor. I do wish the meat was more tender, but it's still a solid dish. They don't skimp on the ban chan and they were all good. They'll give you refills if you ask too. This place isn't cheap for being on the East Side, but I think prices are on par with other Korean restaurants. We're happy to be back because the food was fire and staff were so friendly.“

“I hardly give 5-star reviews, but I'll have to give Mesquite and Oak props that the service and food were excellent! I came here with a couple of my former coworkers for our regular lunch for the first time since it was highly recommended. They don't disappoint. The place is small and has indoor and outdoor seating. There is a small parking lot in the back. The employees were very friendly, and they brought out our food since we were sitting outside. I got the pork spare ribs that were so moist and tender. Oh so good! It comes with moist cornbread, and I got two sides of beans that had a little bit of meat and the bit of tangy cole slaw. Yum! The spicy sauce wasn't too spicy, IMO. The NC orange sauce wasn't too spicy but very good, and the mild sauce was mild and good. I had two ribs to bring home and made sure I slathered enough of the spicy and NC sauces on each rib. I will definitely be back!“

“A colleague and I went to lunch at a restaurant in a business district with ample parking.Debbie, our server, provided excellent service. We ordered pizza, chicken strips with fries, and a steak sandwich. The pizza had a delicious flavor and fresh ingredients. The chicken strips were juicy and flavorful. The steak sandwich could have used more seasoning, but it was still enjoyable overall. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, with multiple televisions for watching sports, a pool table, and a dartboards.“

“Our favorite KBBQ place in the bay area hands down! Every single one of their banchan (side dishes) is delicious. Their set meals are amazing deals for the price, and the ladies who work there take care of you like they were your mom. They work very hard, always check if you need more side dishes, give free desserts and sides on the house, and make sure the food is all consistently great. The set meals are even better with larger parties, but we often just go as a party of two!“

“Definitely a great BBQ spot. The ribs and chicken are the standouts, packed with flavor and just the right amount of tenderness. Their homemade BBQ sauce, and sides are great. It's a BBQ stop so don't expect table side service, but all the people working there are chill and really friendly. Overall a great spot worth stopping at.“
“I had to give this place a try and support a Filipino business. It's a casual quick service restaurant. They have a few tables if you'd like to dine in. I ordered a Tocilog TO-GO. Good portion, good for 1-2 people. You can also add a protein for an extra cost. Tocilog is Tocino ( sweet Filipino style bacon) with a garlic rice and fried egg. It was delicious! I didn't get to take photos because I was really hungry but will definitely come back. I heard the Sisig is on point. That's what I'll get next time.“
“This BBQ is off the Hook " fall off the bone and just melt " The hot link sandwich is the best in the West " the flavor!! Speaking of flavor" there barbecue sauce is out of this world !!!! I've never tasted anything like it ' a definite Must "“

“Happened upon the restaurant when we were on the hunt for good Korean BBQ. The atmosphere is understated, but food and service was amazing. Truly! The beef was so tender and the banchan was A+. There were 3 very kind employees (owners?) who were so attentive and made it a very enjoyable experience.“

“Many items on the menu are very tasty, but my favorite are the burnt ends and brisket. Suggestion, if you are going to order a to-go sweet tea, just splurge and buy the gallon. I bought 2 to-go cups when I ordered at the takeout desk, and wasn't told they were $5/ea and could have bought a gallon for the same $10. It certainly didn't take away from how good the food is, it just would have been a helpful suggestion.“

“First rate barbecue, great beer list -- what's not to like? We went here for the second time and were not disappointed. Brisket is perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked. Burnt ends were a treat. The pulled pork was outstanding. Great casual spot that looks -- well, like a barbecue joint. Highly recommended.“

“Seafood Tofu is pretty good. I always get spicy for my soup and they make it spicy enough for the kick and not overpowering. The broth had the right taste of the cooked seafood of shrimp and clams. They add on egg that pretty much cook though so breaking the yolk wasn't possible. Maybe I'll ask them to stir it next time or leave it out. It comes with purple rice and add an order of spicy cucumber cause I didn't see Kim Chi on machine to order. I'd definitely be coming back.“

“There are a lot of Asian restaurants to choose from in Cupertino but I stumbled upon Kong Tofu which satisfied my Korean cravings. I was by myself and was warmly greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Spicy Dumpling Soondubu (tofu soup). It came with all the Banchan you see in the photo and purple rice and an egg to drop into the boiling soup. The flavors were rich and flavorful. The service was attentive and fast. Ambiance was fine and prices were typical of those of a Korean joint. Portions were good, especially for the side Banchan dishes. I had a great lunch.“

“1st time at a Korean BBQ. Sat us quickly, great service, not alot of choice for us but fine for our vegetarian friends. Taste was good, price seemed a little high but not too bad.Parking: Had a little difficulty in finding restaurant as sort of in quad area.“
“It's a food truck restaurant. But they have covered seating which they share with another pop up Mexican restaurant.A sign in the sidewalk directs you inside a driveway. It's the covered restaurant right there in the left. You can't tell because the sign is for the restaurant they share the eating space with.Menu is very limited but it's well prepare and good.Lumpia is fresh; he rolls and then deep fries them right there. The chicken with garlic rice is tasty. The garlic rice is actually white rice topped with toasted garlic. Try the pork and tocino skewers.“

“As a homeowner in Campbell for over 30 years I am well aware of the good businesses and the bad ones! And a Little Lou's is definitely one of the good businesses! If you want really good fall off the bone barbecue ribs this is the place to satisfy your barbecue cravings!! This joint has been a main staple in my town for decades!! The live bands are good, most of the time but my man go to are the barbecue pork ribs and any of the sides they serve. Definitely try the cornbread, greens, mouth watering old school beans And if you are not into pork ribs on the bone like me then you can't go wrong with the pulled pork sandwiches! Off the hook yummy!! Once you've eaten at Little Lou's barbecue here in Campbell, California you will be forever hooked on their menu of deliciousness!! Not to mention a truly laid-back and chill atmosphere with a staff who truly take pride in their work and will make you feel right at home! This place is definitely my long time go to when I don't feel like cooking and I must satisfy my craving for old school comfort foods! So many positives about this place I don't think I have room to say all that I would like to say about this iconic barbecue joint in my town! Best ribs in the Bay area!!-Cloyzelle Kevin Jones.“

“3.5 STARS Date: Saturday, April 6th, 2024 Time: 3pm Meal: Birthday Late Lunch / Early Dinner Part of: 6 Reservation Made: via Yelp about 1.5 weeks earlier Dinner BBQ & Hot Pot ($37.99) x6 *Japanese Miso *Healthy Herb x2 *Thai Pot: Vegan Spicy x3 *Pork Belly x2 *Ribeye x4 *Spicy Pork Belly *Pork Belly x2 *Pork Jowl x2 *Garlic Shrimp x2 *Galbi Marinated Short Rib x6 *Seapot Angus Beef x2 *Beef Tongue *Steam Rice x3 *J Lohr Cabernet 2019: 375ml ($23) *Sapporo Pitcher ($25) *Original Bottle Soju ($13) *Peach Bottle Soju ($13) *18% Tip ($54.35) For a friend's bday, we decided to do a late lunch at Seapot. I believe on weekends they are open all day and the dinner price applies all day as well. Tip was automatically added to the bill, but I think that was because we were a party of 6? I do adore Seapot for their conveyor belt offerings. I tend to like variety. And I gravitate towards a lot of veggies and seafood. So it's nice they are readily avail in small portions. I don't feel like I have to eat a portion of veggies for the whole table if no one else wants some. Also, super convenient since we don't have to wait for the server to bring those items out. Meat wise (and some seafood), you have to order thru the server. And there's a time limit of 90 mins. Unfortunately this took a while, so we were only able to order one round before the server came back for last call. For bigger parties, they should give two hours as that's not enough time to cook and eat everything. (We still had uncooked plates when they came back for last call.) There's only one grill at a table for 6. It's definitely not enough time to get your korean bbq on. For an AYCE place, this was one of the first times I didn't really leave full. Drinks wise, we had a red wine drinker, so we tried to order a bottle of red wine. The first bottle, they were out, so I asked about two other bottles. They were out of those too. He could only offer a bottle we didn't want, so we ended up with a half bottle of something we originally asked about. Corkage here is $25, while the average bottle was around $40-$50, so it didn't seem worth it to cork anything. I think if we had a smaller party, it would have been fine. But for a larger party, I don't think it's worth coming here. The time limit isn't really enough to take advantage of the AYCE.“

“Myself and four friends went last night for karaoke and dinner. I hadn't been here since it was the Gold Rush Cafe and I'm so happy that they got a liquor license. I got a cheeseburger with tater tots and that cheeseburger was fabulous. Broiled and a thick patty. The bun could be a little bit less processed. I really wish they would change out their hamburger buns. My friends all got different things. My best friend got a pulled pork sandwich and she also said that the bun was very prefab but the pulled pork was excellent. Another friend got chicken enchiladas and he was happy with them. Another friend got chicken tenders and fries, and she liked those. I can't remember what the other person got or maybe I don't even know, lol! Alan was the KJ last night, and I guess he does karaoke every Wednesday there from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. He's hilarious. He does his schtick in a Wolfman Jack voice and he's awesome. Makes everybody feel like they're the star. I will definitely go back again. Clean bathrooms. I sure wish they would change out their hamburger buns.“

“Amazing authentic cantonese food. Originally called "Cooking Papa". Not sure how to describe the experience. I have been here multiple times. It is Hong Kong style home style cooking with so much more. We ordered 8 different dishes (eggplant w/fish, sauteed peas sprout, spicy pork, roasted pork belly, stir fry (including lotus root, black fungus, chinese sausage, celery, snow peas, mushrooms) spicy deep fried fish, congee w/fish, egg and sprimp over chow fun and singapore style curried noodles. I still do not know which dish was my favourite. 100% recommend.“
“Had this place to myself at 3:30pm (late lunch). Asked for a recommendation and they suggested the spicy pork lunch special. Boom! Perfect choice. I never eat all of the rice; however, this was so scrumptious that I couldn't stop grabbing flavor! I'll be back for certain!“
