Ilbunjee(#1 Restaurant) Reviews
Best Korean BBQ Place. All aide dishes and meats were really good quality and taste.
This is a family run restaurant that is reminiscent of tent style eateries in Korea. We loved the banchans. The meat was top notch with top sirloin, ribeye, and the Kurobota pork belly was ace! Squid potato pancake was also yum! I will say the minimum of two meat servings will be enough to serve two adults and two kids. This is honestly the best korean barbecue I've ever had. I went here about a year ago with a friend, and we truly had the best time. The gentleman serving us was kind enough to help us pick out some items, warned us not to fill up on the really tasty rice (because everything else we had was equally tasty), and we were not disappointed! Ilbunjee, the #1 Restaurant, serves authentic Korean barbecue that exceeds expectations. This hidden gem offers tender and memorable meat, making it a must-try, especially the brisket and Berkshire pork belly. The restaurant features a variety of side dishes, including kimchi, cold potato salad, and reloadable banchan, accommodating different tastes. The unique portable grill and side table for meat preparation enhance the dining experience. The service is attentive, with friendly waitstaff assisting with food preparation and drink orders, ensuring the meat doesn’t overcook. The modern interior is low key, with small, round tables reminiscent of pochas in Korea, providing a comfortable spot, although tables can feel cramped at times. The 2-person beef & pork combo, featuring Prime Ribeye, Sliced Prime Brisket, Berkshire Pork Jowl & Pork Belly, is an excellent choice, and pairing the meal with super cold Cass beer or makgeolli enhances the experience. While prices may be steep, the portions are bigger than at other KBBQ restaurants, making Ilbunjee a popular spot that requires arriving early due to the small parking lot. Overall, this place offers a casual outing with delicious food, making it a solid choice for Korean barbecue lovers.
