“Let me start by saying I am a big cookie fan however I tend to stick to the basics. Chocolate chip cookies are by far the best cookie ever made and my goto cookie.

The Pudge chocolate chip cookies at Batch 22 is something I really wanted to like. However the chocolate chip to cookie ratio is way off. They need to have bigger chocolate chips and 2x more of them in the cookie. I expect every bite of a chocolate chip in it (minus the last bite) and this is not close. Most bites had no chocolate chips. I had ~3 of them over a period of time to confirm my findings so it was not an off batch where someone skimmed on the chocolate chips. If you are looking for a good chocolate chip cookie I would avoid this.

With the above said, they have a very good dark chocolate orange cookie. Not my goto cookie but a nice treat to have from time to time. I will be back for that one!”

The only option for bread is sourdough and the available toppings are limited which may be a turnoff for some. However the price, quality of ingredients, clean seating area and service more than make up for it.

I ordered the Italian with spicy mustard. Good taste and blend of flavors without anything over powering. I love the sandwich assembly line setup they have, food gets made quickly.”

“Truly, I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but based on what happened tonight it is warranted. My two allergy kids wanted some pizza, it needs to be gluten free and dairy free. We called them we spoke to two different people at the restaurant they said that's totally okay, we will charge you 18, we're going to do the kids pizza for the allergies needed. When we drove all the way to pick it up for dinner ,they said sorry we tried to call you and tell you but we're going to charge you $50 because we have to make it large. First of all I checked my phone no one called us. They called someone else. Which really shows how unorganized the restaurant is. And second of all they had absolutely no remorse. Espically the manager. In the end I refuse to pay for something that I was lied to. And I feel like they should have still honored the price due to what they told us. It's not my fault that nobody knows what to do there. And it's affecting the customers. I hope the owner and others reads this and teaches his staff to not punish the customer for their own negligence. It just makes me think what else do they do? this is the los gatos location.”

The sauces with the papadums are rich and thick and flavorful. The Manchurian gobi was good but a bit saucier than I prefer. I can't wait to go back and try more things.”

“Second Story is easily one of the hottest cocktail lounge spots right now if you’re looking for an upscale nightlife vibe without feeling overly pretentious. The entire place feels modern, moody, and elevated with low lighting, packed lounge seating, and a crowd that clearly came dressed for the occasion.

The cocktails were beautifully executed and presentation alone made the experience feel worth it. I ordered the Queen B and it was absolutely fire, smooth, balanced, slightly floral with honey lavender notes, and honestly one of those drinks you immediately want again after the first sip. The atmosphere gets more energetic as the night goes on, but still keeps that classy cocktail lounge feel instead of turning chaotic.

One bite and I’d say the best seafood pasta I’ve bad in the South Bay Area, in fact miles better than @SamsChowderHouse in Half Moon Bay.”

“This cool ice cream shop offers unique flavors like pear and blue cheese as well as strawberries tres leches. They offer seasonal flavor-ites and vegan options.
We choose chocolate brownie, cookie dough, coffee and love nuts, and cinnamon snickerdoodle in a huge waffle cone and cup types.
The freezer is full of several pints, carrot cakes, ice cream cakes, and a taco ice cream.

“Last evening had a real craving for a classic banana split. Drove to the nearby BR and was able to create my special ice cream sundae. The split banana was placed in the dish and I chose cherry jubilee, fresh peach, and chocolate fudge ice cream scoops. Pineapple, strawberry, and hot fudge toppings were added next. Finally, chopped nuts, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries were piled high on my creation. A sight to behold! I feared a sugar overload, but still I ate the whole thing! Yum! 😜🤪🤣🥴👍❤️❤️❤️”

We also shared a chocolate milkshake and a cookies-and-cream milkshake, both of which were rich, creamy, and a perfect treat on a warm day.

We sat outside on the patio in the sunshine, and despite being close to a busy intersection, it was still a surprisingly pleasant and relaxing place to eat. Parking was easy, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a wonderful family lunch. We would definitely come back again!”

Presentation, flavor, and attentiveness of staff made the experience fantastic. We nibbled our way through a lunch of Salmon, Tuna tacos, Burrata bowl (with avocado!), Beef Wellington, all with a lovely sparkling wine. We enjoyed our meal in the outdoor patio, though we loved the interior of the restaurant, too, with its small market and warm, welcoming feel. We will definitely come back.”

“I recently visited Petal’s Creamery on Saturday, May 2nd at around 10:50 p.m., and I can honestly say it’s some of the best ice cream I’ve had in the U.S. I tried the hazelnut and saffron flavors, while my friend went for the baklava flavor—and every single one was incredible. The saffron, in particular, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever tasted. What made the experience even more memorable was the service. We walked in about 10 minutes before closing, and the girl at the counter (she was wearing glasses—sorry I didn’t catch her name) was absolutely amazing. She welcomed us warmly, encouraged us to try different flavors, and had such a friendly, genuine conversation with us. Her smile and positive demeanor, especially so close to closing time, really stood out. It’s a true example of exceptional customer service. “First time here! Super delish. I ordered the mango croissant and a ham & cheese croissant. Stood in line for 20 minutes at 9am, but turned out to be worth it. I’ll be back :)”

“This Korean food is absolutely delish! A lot of these foods seem good to eat if it’s cold, but they are tasty anyways. We got the hot stone pot with the mozzarella cheese (which should probably have been shared by two people), seafood pancake, ramen, and the galbitang. The beef is well stewed, the hot stone pot is super cheesy, and the ramen is good quality for its price. This completely changed our view of Korean food, and we came here because we watched a Korean cooking show called “culinary class wars” and wanted to try some Korean food. Will definitely come again, and they have milk drinks and Korean sodas that the children really liked. Jipyeong rice wine was served with traditional bowls and also gets a thumbs up!”

“Saw some of the negative reviews complaining about robots replacing humans — honestly don't get it. This place is trying something new and innovative, and I think that's exciting! And for those worried about quality, the cooking is still done by humans the old-fashioned way, so the food is on point. The steak comes out just right.
Gave it 5 stars for the robot experience alone — my kids absolutely loved it! And the burgers? Actually really good. Keep pushing forward and don't let the critics slow you down. Innovation like this is exactly what keeps dining interesting. We'll be back!”
