“Stopped for a tasting in the tasting room. It was easy to book a reservation online.
Upon arriving, We were greeted by name by Diane. She was very welcoming and got us started on the tasting. We did one of each of the tastings to try the variety. There were good wines on both selections.
Having been to Napa/Sonoma I'm familiar with the wine club pitch. It did come a bit early and listened to a lot of 'upsells' to others that had stopped in to get their wine club order.
As someone in sales/commercial roles, I can appreciate the hustle and recognize that Diane is very good at her role.
That said, we ordered a bottle to enjoy on the patio and took some with us for the wine suitcase to bring home.
The stone buildings are pretty remarkable and the patio provides a lot of room to enjoy the venue.”

“Truly, I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but based on what happened tonight it is warranted. My two allergy kids wanted some pizza, it needs to be gluten free and dairy free. We called them we spoke to two different people at the restaurant they said that's totally okay, we will charge you 18, we're going to do the kids pizza for the allergies needed. When we drove all the way to pick it up for dinner ,they said sorry we tried to call you and tell you but we're going to charge you $50 because we have to make it large. First of all I checked my phone no one called us. They called someone else. Which really shows how unorganized the restaurant is. And second of all they had absolutely no remorse. Espically the manager. In the end I refuse to pay for something that I was lied to. And I feel like they should have still honored the price due to what they told us. It's not my fault that nobody knows what to do there. And it's affecting the customers. I hope the owner and others reads this and teaches his staff to not punish the customer for their own negligence. It just makes me think what else do they do? this is the los gatos location.”

“Hadn’t been here in years. Thing is, I always only went here in the daytime. Reason? I am not exactly ‘simpatico’ with some of the locals who flood this town in the evenings. You do you. But I don’t need to be near you. During the day, you get the self-same drinkers, less people, and a great vibe . . . which is what a good dive bar should offer.

This visit, the vibe was as it should be. The bartender couldn’t have been more engaging, interesting, and customer focused. The drinks? Poured properly. The crowd? Fun and funny. The vibe? Think late-80s/early-90s The Cardiff in Campbell before it became whatever the heck it is nowadays (the bar and the town). These people sure do love their snacks!

My friend and I enjoyed our time here. We especially enjoyed the fact that the bartender took a genuine interest in providing good drinks coupled with great service. As we shuffled out into the daylight, on our way to another somewhat local establishment (hint: it is located in Redwood Estates), we both agreed: we need to come here more often.

But, still, during the day. I don’t need REI-overdoses and flat-brimmed bros modeling the latest UNTUCKit shirt colors while peacocking over ‘plumped’ ladies runway-walking through The Cats. Or college students who think they are the best of the best, when they are simply drunk and young . . . for now (one or both).

Thanks for a great reminder why I love(d) this place! I will be back.

“This is my second time to Teleferic Barcelona and it was better than the last. The food was tasty and abundant (for 2), with attentive service and a great atmosphere. The only demerit: I was disappointed that the servers seemed to be rushing us out after the meal was finished, even though it wasn't late and there was no queue for tables. I can understand that for a busy restaurant or near closing hours, but the repeated rushing became a minor annoyance. Other than that, it was a great experience and I hope to return again.”

“I recently visited Petal’s Creamery on Saturday, May 2nd at around 10:50 p.m., and I can honestly say it’s some of the best ice cream I’ve had in the U.S. I tried the hazelnut and saffron flavors, while my friend went for the baklava flavor—and every single one was incredible. The saffron, in particular, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever tasted. What made the experience even more memorable was the service. We walked in about 10 minutes before closing, and the girl at the counter (she was wearing glasses—sorry I didn’t catch her name) was absolutely amazing. She welcomed us warmly, encouraged us to try different flavors, and had such a friendly, genuine conversation with us. Her smile and positive demeanor, especially so close to closing time, really stood out. It’s a true example of exceptional customer service. “After being in California for about a week, my daughter was determined to find a place that had popping boba. We’d tried a few other boba shops along the way, but they either didn’t have it or didn’t have the flavors she wanted. Then we found Ume!

They had mango popping boba, which was exactly what she had been looking for, so she ordered the mango tea with papaya. There was a pretty good line when we arrived, which is always a good sign, but they were moving through the orders quickly and we didn’t have to wait too long.

The shop itself was bright, colorful, and had a fun atmosphere. Her drink was delicious, and the mango popping boba was definitely a hit. The only thing she wasn’t a fan of was the papaya seeds. She wasn’t expecting quite so many of them, and they definitely weren’t her favorite part of the drink.

Overall, though, she was happy to finally get the popping boba she’d been searching for, and I’d definitely recommend Ume if you’re looking for a fun, flavorful boba drink with lots of options.”
