“Love the bar and good eats!“

“Truly, I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but based on what happened tonight it is warranted. My two allergy kids wanted some pizza, it needs to be gluten free and dairy free. We called them we spoke to two different people at the restaurant they said that's totally okay, we will charge you 18, we're going to do the kids pizza for the allergies needed. When we drove all the way to pick it up for dinner ,they said sorry we tried to call you and tell you but we're going to charge you $50 because we have to make it large. First of all I checked my phone no one called us. They called someone else. Which really shows how unorganized the restaurant is. And second of all they had absolutely no remorse. Espically the manager. In the end I refuse to pay for something that I was lied to. And I feel like they should have still honored the price due to what they told us. It's not my fault that nobody knows what to do there. And it's affecting the customers. I hope the owner and others reads this and teaches his staff to not punish the customer for their own negligence. It just makes me think what else do they do? this is the los gatos location.“

“The dinner was amazing the chef really knows what he is doing- the sauces omg divine. The staff was charming and friendly the ambiance of the place cozy and elegant, pleasant but not overwhelming music and of course wonderful wine. We will definitely be coming back and only regret not having come sooner!“

“Loma Brewing was an awesome place to have our party. Their food was delicious, the space was fabulous and the staff were incredible. They were so easy to work with and made the planning and day of so easeful. I felt so supported. I highly recommend them for events and also just a night out!

“I wanted to share a wonderful experience we had at your restaurant tonight, thanks in large part to the young man who greeted us at the door. From the very first moment, he was genuinely warm and welcoming, not in a rehearsed way, but with a sincerity that immediately put us at ease. He was attentive to our needs and took the time to find us a table in a spot where we could relax and enjoy our meal. It was clear that he cared about making sure we had a good experience, and that thoughtfulness made all the difference. What stood out most was his positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for his work. It's rare to encounter someone who brings such energy and kindness to their role, and it truly enhanced our evening. As we were leaving, he and another receptionist both happily thanked us and wished us a good night. That kind of genuine warmth has become so rare nowadays, and it meant a lot to us. Their friendliness was the perfect ending to a lovely meal. Please pass along our appreciation to these two wonderful young people. “We were shooting for a noon reservation at Parkside, but with unusually light traffic and the parking gods being on my side, we arrived twenty minutes early. Our reservation was for an outdoor table, but we changed our minds and they were happy to seat us inside. The food was excellent. I had the crispy chicken sandwich which was a little messy but very tasty. My wife said the smoked turkey was fantastic too.“

“Had a great experience at Oak & Rye - this place is perfect for a date night.

The food is consistently excellent, especially their pasta. The gnocchi is honestly one of the best I’ve had across the Bay Area - perfectly cooked, rich, and super satisfying. Their pizzas are just as impressive: well-cooked, flavorful, and made with great ingredients. Dessert panna cotta was a great way to end the meal.

What really stands out is the service. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I once called in because I was running late for my reservation, and they happily adjusted it by 15 minutes without any hassle. They’re always courteous and go out of their way to make your experience great, including accommodating small customizations to suit your preferences.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. On top of that, the pricing feels very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get.

Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Los Gatos—highly recommended!“
