“My friend and I had breakfast at Evarits’s Comal this morning and it was FABULOUS! My veggie eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever tasted. The fruit accompaniment was delicious and fresh. Service was on point. I even got serenaded and served a yummy dessert when they found out it was my birthday. I wholly recommend this excellent restaurant!“

“One of the best meals I've had in Santa Cruz in a very long time. So many tourist quality crappy restaurants here, This was a great surprise. Took away one star only because they leave the front door open and is pretty cold outside in Capitola in the evening. My wife was cold during the entire meal.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“Every time I go, spot in with the food. This is what I look for in a restaurant. Think out of the box menu with consistency every time I go with every item I order. I keep working down the menu to try everything. They obviously make their own sauce, the ranch, super bomb diggity. Fries, onion rings, salad all fresh and crisp. Mac and Gouda cheese bites, Yes! Chop cheese, you gotta have one of these! Mushroom cap “burger “ something you will crave, Parish pie, goodness wrapped up in one dish. Salmon fish & chips, fantastic. And I forgot to mention beer, beer, beer, they also have beer and mixed drinks. There is always specials on the screens. Last time I noticed something about tenderloin and bacon …… can’t wait to go back and find out!“

“We went for a birthday okay I. Everything was wonderful we sat outside on the patio which was so much quieter than inside. They were three of us. We all had filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly the garlic mashed potatoes were superb and the vegetables al dente. Our server was just a joy. She was very attentive and did a great job of being the secret dessert server! We had a wonderful time as always.“

Everyone who works there are consistently nice and helpful and skilled, and I've never had a single bad service experience. “Visiting SC from Michigan and came across Suda. Glad we did. Looked like it had a good vibe from the outside so we went in and sat at the bar where we had drinks. What fun! The bartender, Max, was slammed but never stopped smiling. We had fun watching him and talking with him. He knows his drinks! So much fun we came back for dinner another night. Max came over to our table to welcome us back! The drinks and food were really good! We’ll definitely be back next visit to SC. Hopefully, Max, will be there too!“

“We enjoyed the dinner specials recently. Arrived here right before New Years, 12-30. I hade the daily catch and my wife had the steak pasta. Delicious. My fish was petrale sole, mixed vegetables, rice pilaf. Wife’s steak pasta was flavorful and creamy. We sat at the bar so service wasn’t the best but still attentive. Will return tomorrow. HAPPY NEW YEAR“

“Such a neat place! We really enjoyed this spot. Service and drinks! Their house drink menu is very unique and fun! Definitely recommend if you're visiting Santa Cruz! The entrance is around the back of motiv off pearl alley but if it's after 9:30p you'll need to go to motiv first to get stamped anyways.“

“Came here for a late lunch with our dog and enjoyed our meal. The entrance is rather obscured from the parking lot, it’s to the right and past the ice cream parlor.
There was some confusion as the beer list I had was out of date, so my first couple choices weren’t available. My fish and chips were pretty good, my wife’s Asian chicken salad was a bit bland.“

“To say the staff are amazing would be a understatement. Extremely friendly and professional. Tonight I struggled with the menu as nothing really jumped out at me... however I chose the steak and fries to keep it simple. Steak was cooked to the right temp, however lacked seasoning. The topping was fairly flavorless. I will return to try some of the other options on the menu. Thanks again guys“
