The margarita was great, very interesting smokey version.
One of the best meals I've had in Santa Cruz in a very long time. So many tourist quality crappy restaurants here, This was a great surprise. Took away one star only because they leave the front door open and is pretty cold outside in Capitola in the evening. My wife was cold during the entire meal.
Always the best date night spot. The asparagus toast and salmon were delicious.

Trestles Restaurant offers excellent food like Brussels, poke tacos, swordfish, and crème brûlée cheesecake. The service is good, even during busy times, and the ambiance is inviting. Dishes like pork belly and creamed spinach are phenomenal. While prices are a bit high, it's perfect for a special date night with delicious options. High recommendations for a return visit. The food is amazing, with creative dishes and outstanding flavors. Fish and chicken were cooked to perfection, and the sauces emphasized every dish. The seviche was the star. However, the acoustics in the room created a high level of noise, making conversation challenging. Improved sound dampening would greatly enhance the overall ambiance.
