“Dharma's is one my family's favorite spots for a healthy, filling and delicious meal. Portions are generous and the food is always fresh and made with so much care. Favorite dishes include the HUGE garden salad, American Saute' and the raspberry tart for dessert. I always recommend it to visiting friends as well!“
“Such a beautiful experience! Very beginner friendly and such a peaceful atmosphere. They do ask that you be digital free for the time you are there inside, so if you’re looking for a spot to reconnect or go on a first date, this is the place! Everyone was super friendly and they offer games to play. Also a good place to just sit and drink tea while reading a book! It’s 16 dollars for the table and then you pay for the tea ranging from 5-23 dollars that will literally last you for hours! And at the end of the experience if you have not been there for long, they’ll wrap the leaves for you to take home! Love love this place!!“
“Currently, I am traveling and I checked before coming to Santa Cruz where I could get a good plant food meal. Veg on the Edge had plenty of lovely reviews and when I saw they offered Obe Ata (Ashake Pepper Soup) I was excited to try it. Once I got there, Alex helped me and he was so friendly and attentive. He mentioned how they were out of suya mushrooms (although he put them in the oven, so I could try them later) and asked if I was okay with jackfruit as a sub. The soup was perfect. Spicy, lots of flavor, and filling. When I was finished, Alex mentioned that the mushrooms should be ready in 10. So, I went to Trader Joes (across the street), got myself a nice beverage for on the road for tomorrow and headed back to Veg on the Edge. The suya mushrooms were soooo good. Wow. Peppery, flavorful, hearty, anything you want a mushroom to be. Btw: the jackfruit sub was also great! Alex and team, thank you for the hospitality and delicious food.“
“- combo#1- special sushi deluxe #3- sake sushiI've ordered from here multiple times now in-person, but mainly delivery. Pricing is solid and honestly I have no issue with it for the quality and amount of sushi I get. I usually get the sushi deluxe box, because I like getting a variety of nigiri. There's usually one nigiri that I don't super like but that's because I'm usually someone that just likes salmon. The rice isn't densely packed like some other places and the fish is actually pprreetttyyyy darn good. Salmon nigiri is really good. Spicy tuna roll is so good. The maki rolls I got in the combo was basic but like...that's what a maki roll is. Whenever I'm craving quality sushi, MG sushi is both accessible and able to provide quality sushi...it's hard to beat. (When ordering in person...they were done making it really quickly too!! 10-15min max)Plus the lil pudding cups they give for each combo or deluxe box is my favorite touch“
“I used to live down the street from this place and would walk here for their food on almost a weekly basis. Now I live in SF itself and will drive over an hour to get some these days.Best cuisine in the entire bay area, hands down.Try the Mango Lassi!“
“This place has a walk-up window out front to place your order and a pick-up window inside their enclosed, heated outdoor seating area. Rush hour on a Saturday night, but we still found seating quickly. We had Spicy Dan's and Pad Thai, both were delicious and filling. I appreciate that they are no longer serving beef due to sustainability issues.“
“I love ordering from my phone at work and having it ready for me by the time my lunch comes around, super convenient! The smoothies are fantastic but my favorite is the build your own açaí bowls, the smaller size is enough for me to eat all day during my work shift. I can't find a whole lot of spots in this area that are consistently good. I recommend this is you're in the mall looking for something a little cleaner to eat!“
