“Dear Friends arrived at our home with a bag of the Divine Crostini and Roasted Garlic Artichoke Dip. Wow! (They are NOW are very best friends). I was a Gayles a very long time ago - and just saw the photos of the store/restaurant and cannot wait to hike over the hill and have. a decadent shopping spree! WOW! is the Crostini divine...and the Dip?! Amazing!“

“The food was surprisingly tasty! I especially liked the garlic fries, they had just the right amount of Parmesan, garlic and crispiness. Also, notice how cute their bathroom is. “I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“My friend and I had breakfast at Evarits’s Comal this morning and it was FABULOUS! My veggie eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever tasted. The fruit accompaniment was delicious and fresh. Service was on point. I even got serenaded and served a yummy dessert when they found out it was my birthday. I wholly recommend this excellent restaurant!“

“I loved my meal here! The fresh herbs in the falafel pita sandwich and the fluffy pita bread made it spectacular and unique. All the ingredients were just superbly flavorful. I also had the iced matcha with mango syrup (the best matcha I’ve ever tasted), and the tahini soft service with magic sprinkles, matcha, and strawberry syrup. That dessert was just delightful. I can’t wait to go back!“

“As a Thai person always searching for delicious food around this area, I have to say this restaurant is my number one. Everyone needs to try the drunken noodles! But if you can’t handle spicy food, you should ask them to make it a little less spicy. I can guarantee that the Pad Thai and drunken noodles will not disappoint you. Next time, I’m going back to try every item on the menu—and the fried shrimp appetizer is absolutely top-tier. Thank you so much!“

“Vim is a delightful gem. The recipes feel simultaneously local and global, and strike such a perfect balance of bold/novel and familiar/comfortable. Shout out to the incredible desserts, well-curated wine pairings, beer list, and especially the craft cocktails. Besides the excellent quality food, the ambiance is unique and tasteful. Everyone who works there are consistently nice and helpful and skilled, and I've never had a single bad service experience. I also have to thank Vim so much for providing a full spectrum fine dining experience that includes vegetarians and vegans.“

“California in general is a reasonably easy place to find vegan food, but it often comes with a hefty price and either options that are extremely esoteric or copied from the menu of the last page you visited.
While not gourmet by any means, Pretty Good Advice was a perfect merger of almost healthy fare and comfort food, and it didn't break the wallet to eat there.
The seating is pretty limited, and half of the bar-style stools have you looking at a wall close-up, but the atmosphere was just quirky enough to not be pretentious. Although they were reasonably busy, the cooks gave off the impression that they actually might not hate their jobs. The bathroom had arty stickers that meant I stayed in there probably a little longer than the person waiting outside would have wanted me to.
Looking for a quick and no-nonsense tasty vegan meal? I can offer some pretty good advice on a place to try.“
