Currently, I am traveling and I checked before coming to Santa Cruz where I could get a good plant food meal. Veg on the Edge had plenty of lovely reviews and when I saw they offered Obe Ata (Ashake Pepper Soup) I was excited to try it. Once I got there, Alex helped me and he was so friendly and attentive. If you follow my reviews you know how much I adore capsaicin. You get it in spades with the Obe Ata soup, along with a lot of antioxidant-rich black pepper adding to the hot factor.I opted for added tofu and jackfruit for a unique and very pleasing meal. Grab the tofu if you are looking for a bump in your protein levels.
