“Tom’s Bright Eye Surprise is delicious! For vegetarian folks it’s great with a fried egg added as well. I had a meat-eater with me who said the It Ain’t Chicken Sandwich was delicious and that it tasted like chicken and had great texture. The crispy brussel sprouts were tasty too! I will definitely be back (and am trying the soft serve next time!). They have gluten-free breads for the sandos that look and taste like the gluten versions!

“It’s always nice to have an abundance of options on a menu, and Pretty Good Advice delivered here. I got one of the vegan breakfast sandwiches and a friend and I shared the Brussels sprouts and the cucumber sides. All good! Updated from previous review on 2026-09-05“
“Lovely experience at Beauregard for my friend’s bachelorette party. We dressed in an “old folks” theme and were greeted with enthusiasm. The picnic tables were absolutely lovely to sit and drink our wine at. The wine was absolutely delicious, and I think our favorite ended up being the Syrah-Grenache.“

“My friend and I had breakfast at Evarits’s Comal this morning and it was FABULOUS! My veggie eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever tasted. The fruit accompaniment was delicious and fresh. Service was on point. I even got serenaded and served a yummy dessert when they found out it was my birthday. I wholly recommend this excellent restaurant!“

“Love Zachary‘s I get my vegan plate the tofu scramble by far. I think one of my most favorite. It’s also nice that they do offer dairy free butter for the bread and soy milk for the coffee. That’s a win for me.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“Hidden gem! Be sure to do their 5-pounder burritos challenge, I thought it's either a typo or I was in Vegas. But it's a real thing, I was shock by the size of it (that's what she said), and If you can eat it in 10 mins then it's free!
Also shout out to Jonny what a great guy, 10/10 recommend this place“

“We were in Capitola craving pizza, but the line at Pizza My Heart was out the door, so we hopped over to Buzzo in Soquel. Best decision of the day! The space has a modern, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay a while, and the open kitchen was a great experience. We loved watching the chefs in action as they stretched the dough and slid pizzas into the fire. I ordered the mushroom pizza with truffle and added pepperoni and sausage. The fire-cooked crust was crisp and slightly charred, and the earthy truffle with the savory meats was an amazing combo. We paired it with beer and wine, which made it a perfect meal. On top of that, the service was amazing. Friendly, attentive, and they made us feel welcome right away. If you're in Capitola and don't want to wait, Buzzo is just minutes away and well worth it. We'll definitely be back!“

“Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, period! It’s incredibly fresh, perfectly crafted, and the crust is exactly what you want—beyond crisp on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. “Found this gem as a tourist! I got the shrooms breakfast sandwich on their fresh brioche bun - fluffy eggs, melty cheese and mushrooms, so delicious and beautifully made. Cute cozy place with great matcha and coffee too. Yes, mornings get a really long line but it's worth it, the staff is super kind and works insanely fast to get everything out perfect. Will definitely be back every time I'm in town! 🍳“

Came on a Wednesday when the market was on right outside and he was cool with me bringing oysters in. Here's why! I recently had an incredible experience at Chloe’s Kitchen in Santa Cruz.
We placed an order later in the evening and mentioned to the staff that my family and I were planning to have our meal at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. After picking up our food and arriving there, I received a call from the restaurant letting me know they had accidentally left one of our bags behind.
What happened next completely blew me away. The staff member immediately offered to bring the missing bag directly to us at the Boardwalk, and she arrived in less than 10 minutes!
That level of care and customer service is incredibly rare. She went above and beyond to make sure our family had everything we ordered, and it genuinely turned a small mistake into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
And to top it all off, the food was absolutely amazing.“
