The ricotta cheese was smooth and delicious and the pepperoni was the perfectly saviry to go with the sweet pineapple. The ranch, I'm guessing in house was yummy! “I've been coming here since I was a little kid! The food is super yummy. We especially like the carnitas, el pastor, chorizo, and brc burritos! The burritos typically are big enough for two. And those chips are simply the best. The restaurant itself is okay if you are in a hurry, but I highly recommend taking your food to go and eating your food in the park or at Henry Cowell. As for the service, the staff is usually happy to explain and make conversation, even when there's a language barrier.“

“This place was adorable. Small, quaint local winery and dog friendly. We were on a drive to Beauregard and I noticed a sign for wine tasting on Felton Empire Rd. I convinced my husband to stop on our way back home and so happy we did, the couple who own it are so kind and a pleasure to chat with. We will definitely be back with friends and our pup in the summer! Not only do they have wine, but ciders too. I brought home a bottle of the Petite Syrah, yum yum.“

“Everything here was amazing. We got the pork dumplings and hot oil which was probably some of my favorite dumplings i think I’ve ever had, plus they’re handmade. The Dan Dan noodles were phenomenal, perfectly spicy and numbs the back of your throat with how much Sichuan pepper they put in it. Then we got the Red chili pepper chicken, which had an abundance of chilies, peanuts fried garlic, and was also amazing. Plus they home make their own soy sauce, which is also amazing. 10/10 would Chinese food again.“

For reals though this is a go-to for my wife and I, the crew are always so damn kind and they have mad vegan options. Come get you a not-chicken sandwich (don’t be an idiot and come here and get upset it isn’t real meat), some fries with vegan ranch, and any of the drinks- they’re all good. Then post up on the patio and chill. Also if they have the pistachio praline soft serve: do it. Twice. “Awesome sushi and fast service. To be honest, you are really missing out if you are in Scott's Valley for dinner and don't come here. Service: Fast, polite waiters have your food out in minutes and always check to make sure you are enjoying the food. Food: Undoubtedly the best sushi place I've been to. The popcorn lobster roll is great but the chicken katsu is incredible. Bento boxes come with tons of food: salad, fruit, rice, sauce, extra veggies, and choice of two main dishes (rolls, tempura, etc.) Sushi rolls are packed with ingredients and are super tasty. You will always leave feeling full. Ambiance: Red lights on shelf close to ceiling, creating a strip light like effect. Walls are filled with Japanese paintings. Seats are red and black, including booths. There is a sushi bar to sit at, and multiple TVs playing sports games. Price: A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Ingredients are always super fresh and leave you super full. In reality, you won't find a sushi place much cheaper anyways. In all, amazing resturaunt!“

“Excellent! Decided to take my family of 4 for Easter Brunch today. Corn beef & hash with scrambled eggs were delicious. I had the guevos rancheros, which was cooked perfectly. Denver omlette was amazing. Friendly staff, food came quick & the wait wasn't too long even during a busy brunch rush. Outdoor seating is nice & the chairs are made for your tush. Very comfortable! “I find this restaurant to be a very sweet treat. It's the only place in town. I can find beef cheeks, if you've never had them you should try them. The most delectable mouthwatering, juicy meat falls apart in your mouth like butter. I miss when they used to have the pizza oven, but everything else is rather delicious so I'll let it pass. Don't be over sold by the squid ink pasta, it's not that great. Always order the Barada, it's super fresh and absolutely delicious“

The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.“

I work for a veteran nonprofit, and I chose Achilles by the sea for a food option. The owner Elias personally reached out to me, and I have never ever received such kindness and support that I received from him. It's always nerve racking bringing a baby to a nice restaurant but the staff were so sweet and accommodating and interacted with our daughter often. The food is out of this world. Got the Sunday gravy with their house made fettuccine and the short rib ragu with house made fettuccine. Easily the best pasta I've ever had in my life. Short rib is so flavorful and tender, sauce has a really deep flavor profile, and the pasta so tender. The atmosphere is what you'd expect for a bustling authentic Italian restaurant. “My family and I ate here while we were staying in the Brookdale area for a vacation, and the food here was absolutely amazing. All together we ordered the crab rangoons, veggie egg rolls, sticky red bean buns, Za Jiang beef, and the Singapore rice noodles. All of our dishes were piping hot and delicious, and the portions were very generous! They provide free water and hot tea, which was great after coming in from the cold. The staff are amazing, and Jenny checked on us during our meal and seems like such a wonderful person. I only wish we had discovered this gem sooner so we could come back before our vacation is over. Soup was excellent and we got dumplings in there as well but preferred the dumplings fried. I tried an appetizer with spinach but it was flat and not plump like the dumplings! Go with the dumplings! And their thick, juicy homemade noodles!!“

Coconut and pineapple sauce is such a great combo and would highly recommend. This time I did try a new menu item: the tofu salad. It was a fairly big salad for an appetizer, but I was a little disappointed in the dressing. Might have just been base we got takeout, but I personally think the dressing was a little bland. I would still highly recommend this restaurant as there are so many other delicious items on the menu to meet anyone's sushi cravings!“

Bathrooms are single occupancy, but the are 2 and they were clean, always a plus for me to know they keep things clean. If the bathroom is clean the kitchen is likely as well. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).“
