“I love Sushi San. My husband and I go here for dates and special occasions. I love the decor - live plants and fish tanks to watch when conversation ebbs. The sushi tastes quality- served over ice and jicama. I'm addicted to their nabeyaki udon in winter. And the owner June is just the sweetest. We're lucky to have this place in Felton!“

“We ordered the Garlic Bread, yummy herby and topped with cheese and marinara was yummy! We ordered a Large pizza with white sauce (Ricotta cheese) pepperoni and pineapple. The ricotta cheese was smooth and delicious and the pepperoni was the perfectly saviry to go with the sweet pineapple. The ranch, I'm guessing in house was yummy! The vibe of this place was chill, and the lighting really set the feel and mood. Staff was lovely and the food was great! Thanks for the food, I'll be back!Vegetarian options: Salads, garlic bread, pizza toppings YUMParking: Behind and In front. Out back is for pizza only after 4pm.“

“I've been coming here since I was a little kid! The food is super yummy. We especially like the carnitas, el pastor, chorizo, and brc burritos! The burritos typically are big enough for two. And those chips are simply the best. The restaurant itself is okay if you are in a hurry, but I highly recommend taking your food to go and eating your food in the park or at Henry Cowell. As for the service, the staff is usually happy to explain and make conversation, even when there's a language barrier.“
“This place was adorable. Small, quaint local winery and dog friendly. We were on a drive to Beauregard and I noticed a sign for wine tasting on Felton Empire Rd. I convinced my husband to stop on our way back home and so happy we did, the couple who own it are so kind and a pleasure to chat with. We will definitely be back with friends and our pup in the summer! Not only do they have wine, but ciders too. I brought home a bottle of the Petite Syrah, yum yum.“

“The vibes and the aesthetic of the inside and outside is done so well. The food is also very good, I would go back for the curry tots. The chicken was okay, lacked in flavor and seasoning. Great brunch spot for those that like eggs and want a quick bite .“

“Tried the Charlie pizza and burrata appetizer. The pizza is excellent - best I've found in the area. The crust is crispy and airy but tender inside. Sauce is simple and good and the toppings are top quality. The burrata is served with oven dried tomatoes and fry bread, and is just outstanding. Nice job!“

“We decided to celebrate our 3 year anniversary here at Shadowbrook and we weren’t disappointed. They have a small train car looking transportation to and from the parking lot that was awesome. Also available classic looking taxis that can take you to and from your vehicle. Amazing style and ambiance.Emily was our server for the evening, and she was fairly helpful. It did seem as if she was upselling a bit as all recommendations were the more expensive items however that’s understandable as server income is dependent on how much we spend.Bread and butter for table 5/5Dirty martini 4/5 (first martini we’ve tried)Ahi Poke 5/5Clam Chowder 5/5Butcher’s Filet 4/5 (steak was low on flavor - subbed out the Pomme Purée for potato gratin)Chocolate meltdown 4/5Complementary chocolate ganache for anniversary 5/5Presentation on all items was incredible. Some items feel like they need just slightly more of something or to be modified, but overall very high quality.Forewarning there is a 4% up charge on all items and the menu cites employee healthcare as the reason. There is also an option available when splitting a meal to get equal side amounts for an additional $6.$119.49 after tax and the 4% surcharge for 1 drink, 1 soup, 1 appetizer, 1 meal split w/ $6 for extra sides, and 1 dessert. Will be back and excited to see more of this place! For local reviews or travel content you can find us on Instagram @sunsetourist“

“Everything here was amazing. We got the pork dumplings and hot oil which was probably some of my favorite dumplings i think I’ve ever had, plus they’re handmade. The Dan Dan noodles were phenomenal, perfectly spicy and numbs the back of your throat with how much Sichuan pepper they put in it. Then we got the Red chili pepper chicken, which had an abundance of chilies, peanuts fried garlic, and was also amazing. Plus they home make their own soy sauce, which is also amazing. 10/10 would Chinese food again.“

“I feel like there’s an unwritten bay area vegan rule that if you see a GATS sticker or tag, the place is solid - this spot has 3 so you know it’s real, lol. For reals though this is a go-to for my wife and I, the crew are always so damn kind and they have mad vegan options. Come get you a not-chicken sandwich (don’t be an idiot and come here and get upset it isn’t real meat), some fries with vegan ranch, and any of the drinks- they’re all good. Then post up on the patio and chill. Also if they have the pistachio praline soft serve: do it. Twice. Not a giant menu but they don’t need one… everything on it is good.Dietary restrictions: Vegan / Vegetarian only restaurant, the staff is always on point making sure you get what you ordered if you didn’t want the dairy version (thanks guys)“

“Awesome sushi and fast service. To be honest, you are really missing out if you are in Scott's Valley for dinner and don't come here. Service: Fast, polite waiters have your food out in minutes and always check to make sure you are enjoying the food. Food: Undoubtedly the best sushi place I've been to. The popcorn lobster roll is great but the chicken katsu is incredible. Bento boxes come with tons of food: salad, fruit, rice, sauce, extra veggies, and choice of two main dishes (rolls, tempura, etc.) Sushi rolls are packed with ingredients and are super tasty. You will always leave feeling full. Ambiance: Red lights on shelf close to ceiling, creating a strip light like effect. Walls are filled with Japanese paintings. Seats are red and black, including booths. There is a sushi bar to sit at, and multiple TVs playing sports games. Price: A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Ingredients are always super fresh and leave you super full. In reality, you won't find a sushi place much cheaper anyways. In all, amazing resturaunt!“

“I find this restaurant to be a very sweet treat. It's the only place in town. I can find beef cheeks, if you've never had them you should try them. The most delectable mouthwatering, juicy meat falls apart in your mouth like butter. I miss when they used to have the pizza oven, but everything else is rather delicious so I'll let it pass. Don't be over sold by the squid ink pasta, it's not that great. Always order the Barada, it's super fresh and absolutely delicious“

“I had an iced mocha to drink. It tasted great! To eat, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was excellent, and so were the biscuits. The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.“

“? Lasooni Wings - These were fantastic. Garlicy, full of spice, and very lowkey spicy with a gentle sweetness in the background, while the flavour of the chili (oil?) is the more major flavor with the garlic coming in after. It's just a slight tingle of spicy. Very tender and moist.?Garlic Naan - gentle garlic taste, and very gentle doughy background. These were good.?Chicken Tikia Masala - complex creamy savory spiced flavour throughout. Very gentle hint of sweetness and sourness. The chicken within is breast meat, cooked perfectly so it's not dry. We got the mild spice level, this was also fantastic.?Mango Lassi - I loved it. Not too sweet, creamy, light mango flavour throughout the background.?Overall, each time I've gone here, I've had a great meal.“
“Beautiful nested in the forest of Bonny Doon, Beauregard is a unique wine tasting experience. There’s not many places where you will be able to hear first hand about the historic vines and about the family wine making experience first hand from the owner himself. Great and unique wines and awesome vibes!“

“Steamer Lane is the place to be! Everything on the menu is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and care deeply about the community of Santa Cruz. Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! I remind them I have celiac and they do a great job :)Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. You can ask for accommodations too (ie no cheese, or add cabbage)“

“Achilles is by far the best Mediterranean food I’ve tasted and what makes it so much better is the customer service that surrounds you. I work for a veteran nonprofit, and I chose Achilles by the sea for a food option. The owner Elias personally reached out to me, and I have never ever received such kindness and support that I received from him. He is such a great guy, and the food that he prepares for his customers is beyond, amazing. I cannot explain how grateful we are for the support of Achilles. The veterans were so grateful and they all complemented on how great the dinner was. So, on behalf of Operation Surf, we want to highlight Achilles by the sea, and the amazing staff that supported our Veterans, staff and volunteers alike. Thank you again and I highly recommend you trying this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.“

“Husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and brought our 10 month old daughter along. Cannot say enough good things! It's always nerve racking bringing a baby to a nice restaurant but the staff were so sweet and accommodating and interacted with our daughter often. The food is out of this world. Got the Sunday gravy with their house made fettuccine and the short rib ragu with house made fettuccine. Easily the best pasta I've ever had in my life. Short rib is so flavorful and tender, sauce has a really deep flavor profile, and the pasta so tender. The atmosphere is what you'd expect for a bustling authentic Italian restaurant. Loud, low lighting, and high spirits.“

“My family and I ate here while we were staying in the Brookdale area for a vacation, and the food here was absolutely amazing. All together we ordered the crab rangoons, veggie egg rolls, sticky red bean buns, Za Jiang beef, and the Singapore rice noodles. All of our dishes were piping hot and delicious, and the portions were very generous! They provide free water and hot tea, which was great after coming in from the cold. The staff are amazing, and Jenny checked on us during our meal and seems like such a wonderful person. I only wish we had discovered this gem sooner so we could come back before our vacation is over. If we're ever back in Santa Cruz county we'll definitely be eating here again!“

“We loved Chloe & her food soooo much! Menu has such breadth and most everything we ordered was delicious! We especially loved our fried Ginger -Scallion Dumplings! Soup was excellent and we got dumplings in there as well but preferred the dumplings fried. I tried an appetizer with spinach but it was flat and not plump like the dumplings! Go with the dumplings! And their thick, juicy homemade noodles!!“

“Back again, as this is a regular spot for my family and I. Once again food didn't disappoint. I got my go-to roll which is the warriors roll. Coconut and pineapple sauce is such a great combo and would highly recommend. This time I did try a new menu item: the tofu salad. It was a fairly big salad for an appetizer, but I was a little disappointed in the dressing. Might have just been base we got takeout, but I personally think the dressing was a little bland. I would still highly recommend this restaurant as there are so many other delicious items on the menu to meet anyone's sushi cravings!“

“We are regulars of El Chipotle Taqueria. First, the people are so nice, especially the owner. We have eaten there, but we mostly pick up food. We love everything! “Came in on a Wednesday morning during Spring break. They were busy and a minor wait as they were busy. Staff was attentive, but not rushing us. The banana walnut French toast was just what I needed. Food came out quick enough for the 5 of us. All were happy and full. The live plants arranged seeing the restaurant were a nice touch. Bathrooms are single occupancy, but the are 2 and they were clean, always a plus for me to know they keep things clean. If the bathroom is clean the kitchen is likely as well. Looks like they're adding more outdoor seating. Would like to come back on a nice Summer morning“
“Sante Adairius Rustic Ales offers an exceptional beer selection; the highlighted brew was particularly noteworthy. The accompanying pizza surpassed expectations, boasting delicious flavors. Keep in mind that the brewery tends to get quite busy around 5 o'clock, so plan accordingly. Additionally, it's a very kid-friendly place, making it a great option for families.“

“The best fish tacos I've ever had. Don't know how they do it, but their battered fish is the perfect balance of crispy and salty. The pickled radish slice on top is a treat in and of itself. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).“

“Always fast service and never any mistakes with my orders. I honestly don’t understand why there CANT be an up charge for an additional item for the Pizza Sandwich. I’ve had mushrooms added previously but when they’re busy, it’s not okay. I always tip 18-20% and even more yesterday when I somehow accidentally added an extra item to a personal pizza and was refunded. When you only get a measly 6 jalapeños as your second item, are a few mushrooms gonna be a huge deal? Wouldn’t customer satisfaction be worth $.75? I’m lost on why you can add tons to a pizza and get charged for that but not on a sandwich. ?♀️“

“This place is wonderful. The staff went above and beyond the expectation and delivered excellent quality customer service with a smile. It is located around a weirdly named street but that makes is even more charming and funky classic to the theme of Pizza My Heart. The place is well kept,Clean and holds a lot of local gem history on the walls.Dietary restrictions: The staff is mindful of people with food allergies and will custom make a pizza for you even if it is just one pieceParking: Limited so may need to carpool if you have a large group after sportsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly astmosphere. It is kitty corner to the freeway entrance so it is funky with the location but the fountain drinks have good selection and it is clean. Close to local surf sport beaches.Wheelchair accessibility: Place is friendly to able folks in a wheelchair“
