“10/10 beer, really interesting stuff. Great fermented foods as well, but the beer is really the highlight here for me.I'm told that the selection changes regularly, but stuff leans on the funkier side, with complex ingredients and processes. If you want a boring macro lager, the selection may (appropriately) disappoint. This joint is not for those with narrow palates. But if eclectic combinations or more flavorful brews are your vibe, you'll enjoy the diversity and character of what they've got.“

“It’s one of the best salads I’ve ever ever had and I’m not a solid person, but considering that I’m on a quest and a journey for good health and amazing food that actually provides energy and vitamins to my body. This is one of the best place and it’s very very smart for them to set it up the way that they do, I must eat!“

“Went to visit this restaurant while we were on our way through San Jose. Possibly the best Mexican food that I've ever had as a lifelong California resident. Everything was so fresh and so delicious, from the house made tortillas to the chile verde. Cocktails were also delicious. We went around 3:00 and service was kind of spotty but overall I'd still say it was a five-star experience.“

“One of the best South Indian vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area.Regularly have a long waiting time due to the rush even though they have a decent amount of seating. My favourites are Rava masala dosa and Poori Chana. The podi items are usually very spicy, some might like it but not for everyone. Their ginger chutney is very unique. They are also open usually till 9:30pm.Parking is usually tricky and gets crowded during peak hours. You need to go and make a reservation in an online queue. Service is not their strong point. Sometimes you have to wait a long time before anyone comes to check on you after seating. Not at all any resemblance of professionalism. But the food is good.“

“I want to give five stars, because they have a huge beer menu and great vegetarian options. However, the service was pretty spotty. We were waiting up to 10 minutes just to get a small taster to help us decide. The place was busy, but not that busy. If the service were better, I would definitely bump up my rating.“

“I love the friendliness and the super delicious food here. I come by usually about once a week to grab some delicious food for me and my wife. I have tried most of the menu options and I have loved everything I have ordered. They also have the very best blueberry muffins I have ever tasted! I just ventured off into the salads and as always I loved it. And did I mention that most everything is vegan!!!“

There was a good amount of seating and no line, even though it was plenty busy. The food is reliably good and fresh and the service is very good.“

“I love this place and continue to enjoy the food, atmosphere and service on every visit! My husband and I usually order the 1/2 lb Paradilla with carne asada and carnitas to share, but this time I was with my Dad and sister so I ordered the Chimchurri Bowl. O-M-G! It's literally the Paradilla but in a bowl and a little arugula and pepitas with dressing included. Absolutely freaking delicious! It was a ton of food and I selfishly devoured every last kernal on my plate. In fact, I think the only thing I left was half of the sweet potato skin (because I ate the other half).I highly recommend Luna as there is something on the menu for everyone, in every mood!“

“I had the most delicious meal tonight! I had the Avocado Roàsted Corn Bowl with a Sangria Swirl. OMGoodness soo yummy. I would give the dish 5 stars but it was a little bit too spicy for me but then again in sorta a tender bear with regards to the heat of spicy foods. The vibes were solid considering it seemed pretty full for a rainy Thursday night. And I must say considering this is probably only my 3rd time eating here, this time I finally picked the right dish. Fantastic dinner... definitely would go back and definitely recommend. Oh and I forgot to mention the sangria swirl...and tbh I thought it was just okay wasn't sweet enough.“

I've been here multiple times, and each visit has been wonderful- service and food! One thing that keeps me coming back is the fantastic pricing. Green Lotus offers an excellent range of dishes at pocket-friendly rates, making it a go-to spot for those looking for quality without breaking the bank.As a vegan, I appreciate the plethora of plant-based options available. From flavorful curries to savory stir-fries, Green Lotus has nailed it when it comes to satisfying my vegan cravings. However, I must mention the parking situation. It can be a bit challenging, especially on the weekends. But let me assure you, the culinary journey at Green Lotus is well worth the parking struggle. “I came here for a school field trip. The trip was amazing and super fun. Basically we tested their new robot system, and it was really cool. After we finished, we fought each other (the other kids). “Great pizza spot with a big menu.We went here for lunch, I got the apple walnut chicken salad, my coworkers got the spaghetti and deep dish pizza. My dish was great and they said they enjoyed theirs. The deep dish looked amazing and I'll have to go back and try it. Medium is probably too big for one person so I would stress a small. They also serve beer and wine but we stuck to water during the work week.“

“Great little family owned Thai restaurant. The restaurant is on the small/cozy side but we do like coming here for Thai. Lots of great choices on the menu. We have never been disappointed. We usually stop in if we see the restaurant is not crowded. We avoid crowds these days as we limit our risk to covid due to our pre existing health conditions.“

“I ordered the ghee masala dosa and the portion was amazing for the price. Every side and the actual dosa was good. Only problem was that because they only do to-go orders, everything got half cold by the time I got home. They would do SO well if they had at least a couple of tables and chairs.“

“Best Ethiopian restaurant in Bay Area probably. Here the vegetarian options are as delicious as their non vegetarian ones. Price is reasonable. It’s not a very big place and they only do walk-ins, no reservations. Definitely recommend. Lentil sambusa was good, but I wish they had chicken ones at the time we visited. The platter accommodates all spice levels. You may wanna check with the staff if you want to avoid any spicy ones. Mushroom dish aka ‘ingudai tibs’ stood out. Overall all the items were very flavorful. They keep the bread /injera coming- all you need is ask. Even the Ethiopian spiced tea was great. If you like dessert wines, you may want to try their honey wine. It was good too. It has GF and veg friendly options. Note: You will need to use your hands to eat and they give you wet paper towels in the end.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible as it’s a small place.“

“I'm not too sure what's "Express" about this place...The menu had plenty of items. Actually it looked like a full size menu to us...almost a bit overwhelming if you ask me. Maybe, it's the size of the venue? It was on the smaller side, not a whole lot of seating inside. Perhaps this venue is smaller than their other location. There were a lot of orders being picked up.No complaints: Tasty food, good service, clean and bright on the inside. The place was packed with Indian folks, so we knew the food was going to be good.#DesiEats~ Aloo Methi Thali - 4.5/5The Thali is a brilliant value. So much food on the plate. The potatoes were perfectly cooked with a ton of flavor without being greasy or soggy.~ Bombay Pav Bhaji - 4/5I didn't know there was an Indian dish that was eaten with a Bun. Very interesting... Mixed vegetables in Masala. Nice kick to it, without being overly spicy.~ Rajouri Garden Chana Bhatura - 4/5Very tasty Chickpea curry dish with Paratha. Not too spicy either.~ Paneer Paratha - 4/5Tasty paratha with a side of Onions, Lime Pickle and some sort of sauce.I need to come back several times to try more dishes on the menu!“
“This is my favorite spot for Indian food. My wife loves it too. We've had a la carte and the buffet. My wife first tried it at work- her indian coworkers ordered it for a team lunch. The buffet is really good. There is a wide selection and the food is fresh. They always refill the food promptly. My favorite is the tikka masala. My wife loves the butter chicken. There is also some indian dessert, but we've never tried it.When ordering a la carte, we typically order the lamb curry, orka and onions, and naan. There are two sizes so be sure to clarify which one you want. The price is fairly expensive compared to other places but its worth it. I brought food over to my mom's house for sunday dinner and everyone loved it. There is plenty of seating- booths and tables. The place is fairly clean. The bathroom is super small so make sure you go before coming in- its not the cleanest bathroom.“

“If you are looking to eat authentic Indian vegetarian, homemade style, then this is the place. I tasted their food in an event yesterday, it was mouthwatering. “Updated review:After a long day at work, we came to Chaat bhavan for dinner. Was able to quickly get a table as it was a weekday, don't expect the same on weekends as there are long waits. We ordered the House Thali and it was definitely tasty and bang for our buck. Two of us ate it along with extra paratha on the side. They also gave us complementary dessert to try which was also very good. Overall, will definitely be revisiting the place.Older review:Food is of very good taste and high quality. The restaurant is very neat and the servers are courteous. But they take too long sometimes for a take out. Tends to get very crowded on Sunday nights.“

“Probably the best pav bhaji in the bay. Their new restaurant in sunnyvale is pretty good. I wish the real juices were more reasonably priced but otherwise it's great. “Best south Indian food in the bay area. They have the softest idlies and crispiest vadas. Their coconut chutney tastes like the ones made back home. “To start just want to say it is really a 3.5. Came in on a Saturday at lunch time. Place was pretty empty. Place is a bit on the smaller side. Service wise was just average. They took the order and food came relatively quickly, however server never came back afterFood wise orderedSpring rolls (3.5/5): was fresh, but nothing amazing. Would order again if craving spring rolls since they are reasonably priced comparatively Egg rolls (3.5/5): Nice and crispy and hot. Flavor was decent just needed a bit more punchBeef Pho + Meatballs (3.5/5): Well priced, noodles were a little on the undercooked side, broth mild flavor, meat decent cutsPork rice plate + shrimp (2/5): Would skip all rice plates if that was the standard. Small portion of meat, shrimp over cooked, flavor just meh (not worth the add on). Flavor of the pork was the only thing going until just got a huge piece of just fat....Over all this place is one of the few reasonably priced pho places I've seen these days. Will definitely be back to give the pho another shot and the crispy noodle dish. Definitely worth a try if your in the area“

“My favorite Thai place in Sunnyvale, and my favorite Thai place I know of as of today. Owner is a good guy. The food is very consistently good. Pad Thai is very very good and of course you can have it as spicy or mild as you like. Right on Murphy Street lots of parking at the train station or across the street on Washington. The prices are right in line with what a decent Thai Place cost these days. Once again consistently good food at a good Target price, either eating in or taking out is very easy and very good. And once again the owner is a good guy you will like him.“

“They only sell pav bhaji and cold pressed juices. Not the best pav bhaji I’ve had in my life but still very good. Since they only sell one thing the service is super quick. Friendly service. Clean and well-lit restaurant interior. Clearly run by a family and hard not to appreciate their journey from food truck to brick and mortar store. If I lived nearby I’d be here as often as my waistline would allow“

“I came here on a Saturday around 11:30 for an early lunch. I ordered the Thali - I simply loved it. The variety of food was staggering - ridge gourds curry, plantain curry etc were new to me in a thaali. Other restaurants typically offer the same fare - carrot/beans, aloo etcContents of Thali- rice, choice of Poori/chappathi, dal (yum!), ridgeourd curry, plantain curry, sambhar, rasam (refreshing!), 2 types of pakoda and frymes. Helps that it was unlimited. The food was also not too spicy and most of it can be served to a baby. The restaurant ambience was also nice. Love the paintings and clean space. The wait staff were also so pleasing and nice and served every item with a smile.I really loved this place and cannot recommend it enough“

“My first time visiting a local south Indian restaurant and learned so much about their cuisine. South Indian cuisine is all vegetarian. It appears they specialize in dosas and sambhar. The mansala dosa was large but a bit soft but the crispy type which was still delicious and soaked up the 3 types of sauces and a soup. They have a different daily thali or variety set of 6 dishes which was also very good and includes white rice. Kapoori was also very tasty fried puffy goodness especially with the sambhar and potatoes.I'm sure I committed some native eating etiquette by using a spoon to eat as well as my left hand so I hope I didn't attract too many side glances by other customers. Service was exceptionally friendly and the server stopped by several times to bring refills of our dishes which I wasn't sure was customary like Korean bon chon or because we were the only non Indian customers but certainly appreciated and took advantage of their generosity. Highly recommend and will certainly be back!“

“I'm not gonna lie, I've been to Redwood Cafe 3 days out of 7 recently, why you may ask, Music. They excel in music offerings, live bands, musicians, from Blue Grass, to Blues to Open Mic Jazz. It's what draws me to the place. The food is ok, the menu is a little too much, portions are pretty big, but the cooking is basic. They serve breakfast all day & night. You order food at the counter and it is delivered to you. They offer beer and wine, plenty of seating but the plastic picnic tables in the back are not comfortable but I guess good for bigger parties. The staff is great, they hustle, cleaning, serving. They have a nice selection of art on display highlighting various local artist, it's an inviting space with a patio outside as well. Check out their calendar for their events from music to art receptions, it's worth stopping by.“
