“Some family friends introduced us to La Cueva and this has become one of our family’s favorite restaurants. Our girls love the Cheese Quesadilla, Bean and Cheese Burrito and the Kids Nachos (nachos covered with refried beans and cheese). My wife and I have had the Shrimp Burrito, Cheese Enchilada, Chicken Enchilada, and the Carnitas platter. All have been really good with great flavor. Regarding the Carnitas, they cook it perfectly so that there is a slight crispness on the outside yet moist on the inside. The star of the show is their green sauce. It has got the perfect balance of heat and flavor. It goes well with all the dishes we have ordered and I found myself putting on other things that I cook at home. You also get a bag of tortilla chips with your order.

This is a family owned business and their customer service is fantastic. Our food is always ready when they say. One thing to be aware of is that they get busy on Fridays so it might be hard to get through on the phone. But keep trying, it's well worth it. Once you try their food you will be hooked. I highly recommend them!!!“

“One of the best smash burgers we have had. Enjoyed dinner with Redwood Cafe while at Wilkerson Farms. The gentleman that was cooking knows how to make an excellent burger and frys. His service was top notch. I would highly recommend to anyone that come across his food truck to stop and give it a try. You will not regret it. 10/10“

“Our family of 5 went to celebrate my twins birthday. Our server Timmy was very kind and friendly. At the end of dinner he brought over separate desserts for each of my twins mentioning that they probably wouldn't want to share their dessert since they were already sharing their birthday as twins. That was very thoughtful of him! Overall had a great time celebrating . The service and food was good!“

“Food is good, but their schedule is quite unpredictable. Sometimes they just close without any notice or by leaving an undated note on the door. They only open for lunch on Fridays, and this is also very unreliable – I’d say they’re open roughly once every three Fridays. So, if you’re scheduling a meeting with people travelling, be aware that the place might be closed. The dining room is small and can get uncomfortable if there is a noisy party present. Did I mention the food is great?“

“The Sunnyvale location is just a few blocks from our house, but it was just not the same for us after Miguel left. When we heard that he had started his own place just a few miles from us, and we we stopped by to check it out. It was absolutely fantastic. We have yet to try a dish that we didn't love, but their chicken mole is to die for. His tequila selection was a pleasant surprise with some rare gems, and he makes a margarita so good my wife mandated a weekly visit. He did not skip a beat on the service side, which is why we followed him to his new place. We met some friends for dinner and had a large party, and he and his entire staff were on top of every table making sure everyone was well taken care of. The place seems small, but it is deceptive and very quaint with a nice bar and 2 separate seating areas inside with a nice, spacious patio area outside. Seems like he picked a gem of a location! Hats off to Miguel, his family, and the entire staff on the new endeavor!“

“After a bad f&c experience at the fisherman's wharf I needed redemption. Anchors delivered. Batter was just right. Fish tender and fresh. Home made tarter was perfect“

“As the name implies, a good place for a burger, downtown Saratoga. The big TV's at the bar gives it a typical sports bar look. The veggie burger is really good and the garlic fries amazing. The tomato soup was actual really, really good. A recommended stop when visiting the downtown areas.“

“We had great experience at Florentine Trattoria. I had Crab and Shrimp pasta and it was the most delicious seafood pasta, I have ever had. I asked Alexandro: how your shrimps are so fresh. So far everything has been good or amazing. And the servers always explain how to eat the food for the best experience. “I have known the Korean waitress since the E 3rd Avenue, San Mateo location days. Extremely friendly waitress. Food portion is always generous and decent quality. I have been to both locations but sadly, the San Mateo location doesn't exist anymore.“

“bell tower cafe has an old school vibe with decent food. the wait staff is friendly and the food arrived to the table quickly. I had pancakes as part of my order and I wish they had a glass container for the syrup... instead I was given a small single serving plastic container. I also was turned off by the extremely cheap silverware.. it was one step up from plastic... amazing how little details can give you such a strong impression about a place. If I had to choose between the bell tower cafe or holders country inn (the one in Saratoga), I would choose holders... simply for the less cheap feeling it brings.“
