“Came here for my dad's birthday and enjoyed how nice and upscale the experience was!
Good:
- The service was so good! It's so pretty and nice inside, dimly lit
- I enjoyed my pork chop a lot - the apricot sauce added a lot to the experience and there's so much food
- The crab cake was a tasty dessert
- They had a nice birthday dessert for my dad and the bread pudding was so tasty too!
Bad:
- Overall it's pretty expensive so come only for special occasions
- Food arrived slowly
Overall would have to find another special occasion to come again!”

“Newly opened coffee/tea shop near West gate. Ordered Sweet Corn Latte for $7.5, which has been very popular in Los Angeles since last year. This is listed as one of the signature drinks they have. I ordered 0% sugar level with whole milk and the sweetness is perfect. Can’t imagine how sweet it will be if I order 100% sweet. It has a corn shaped ice cream on the top. And the drink itself is very good. I like it a lot.
It takes a while for them to make the drink so online order is recommended if you don’t want to wait in the cafe.
Parking is not too difficult even jn weekends.”

“It's no wonder it got this score because literally everything we ate was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant looks a little old, but when you eat your food, you will understand that they are very good at their job.”

“I made a reservation three weeks prior to my visit and they put me in the most beautiful corner window along with my two buddies to celebrate a birthday. Such a gorgeous decor it has. The food was delicious! We split 5-6 dishes 3 ways and it was perfect. Blue fin tuna was amazing. Our server let us stay for nearly 3 hours! He took such good care of us the whole evening. We will definitely come back next year, for tradition. But I will bring other friends and family back when I can!!!”

“We were in Saratoga for our son's wedding at Saratoga Springs. We were staying at the Saratoga Oaks Lodge.
I mention the above because it made Hong's well situated for the 30+ rehearsal dinner.
The food was fantastic. All of it was made with care and fresh. Gourmet describes it well. There was so much attention to detail. I could have made a meal just of the delicious egg drop soup. It was exceptional. Do try the lemon chicken.
The service was excellent. The staff did not insist we stay with a banquet menu, which I'm sure would have been easier for them. They were great about letting us order a la carte, including gluten free and vegetarian options. They didn't bat an eye when 10 guests walked in an hour late and we needed more food.
I owe them for that.
The cost was more than reasonable.
Everyone who came raved about the dinner for the next 2 days.
Thank you, Hong's, for a memorable family event!”

“I had a coupon for Stackers, so on a whim I took my kids there. We have been there before, but ordered our usual (large pepperoni and black olive). Turns out we didn't need the coupon because Stackers offers daily deals anyway. We were immediately impressed with the taste of the pizza. The Large had 12 slices and all three of us were satisfied. The crust had sesame seeds on it, which we also really liked. The guy at the counter was really nice. It looks like a family business. The dining room is really small, so next time we'll probably get the pizza to go, but there WILL be a next time. It was a really great experience and we highly recommend Stackers!”

“If you're looking for an authentic Korean bakery that serves phenomenal cakes and drinks, look no further! Gu-eum is your answer, your destination and will surely become your favorite!
Gu-eum is located at the popular Westgate corner strip mall at the corner of Lawrence Expwy and Prospect Rd, right across from McDonald and next to Cere tea. Parkings may be a bit of a challenge here but no worries, there are ample parkings in the back beyond McDonald. No matter where you park, it's only a quick 2-3 minutes walk to Gu-eum.
On the outside looking in, Gu-eum looks modest with a cute white teddy bear logo on the windows and some white lace curtains covering 2 of their big windows. The inside of store is neutral toned with a hint of buttery yellow and brown which reminds me of honey and cakes. White chairs and white tables as well as some houseplants and wall mirror are tastefully placed around the store to create a welcoming ambience. I can easily see myself coming here more often to grab some cakes and drinks and hanging out with my friends in the weekend or after work.
All that nice ambience aside, their cakes and drinks are what truly capture my heart (and my tummy)! They have so many flavors to choose from and some of them you haven't ever heard of, such as Injeolmi and Goguma (Korean yam which is my favorite!!). Their cakes are not super sweet (which is a compliment in Asian culture), melt in your mouth and make you feel like you're in heaven with every bite! Their cream is light, fluffy, with right amount of sweetness and that elegance of a well-make cream on top of the cake.
And of course, you'll miss out if you don't try their phenomenal drinks! I love their Goguma latte, Dalgona latte and most recently the seasonal Tiramisu latte, which is made to perfection with real mascarpone cheese and strong and bold coffee. I'm Vietnamese so I have high standard for my coffee and Gu-eum nails it all the time with moderately sweet drinks (that don't make you feel like you'll develop diabetes afterward) integrating so well with amazing coffees. Every sip you taste is a slice of heaven handed out to you in a form of latte :)
Their prices are reasonable within that $6-$7 range. Thought the cups are on the smaller size, the quality of drinks make up for it. I’d rather choose quality over quantity anytime.
Highly recommend you check this place out for all your cakes and drinks needs! Be warned though that you may come back and back for more because Gu-eum has that kind of hold on your heart (and tummy) LOL”

“Awesome pricing. Pleasant service. I came here for lunch with my coworkers and the guy was extremely friendly and had the patience to deal with our indecisiveness, plus we were in and out of there in no time. Would definitely recommend anyone in the Saratoga area to go. The cheese pizza is the best I've had anywhere. The crust is great and homemade. The combination pizza is my second favorite”

“Wow! My new all-time favorite Mediterranean restaurant. As soon as you walk in the aromas from the kitchen are just astonishing. The space is warm and welcoming. Even on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, it was filled with happy people sitting at the bar and tables eating and enjoying camaraderie. Since it was my first time, I ordered the six side dish sampler and every single one was phenomenal. The hummus is a garlicky herbed slice of heaven. The baba ghanoush is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. Then there was an eggplant dish with maple syrup and pomegranate seeds that just explodes with deliciousness. I had the beet salad with goat cheese and it's just delightful. Since I was alone, I was limited as to how many items I could try, but I cannot wait to come back with my family and order up a storm! Thank you Tamra Mediterranean grill for a truly exceptional dining experience.”
“Mt. Eden Winery is truly a hidden gem. The moment you arrive, you're greeted with breathtaking views that set the tone for an exceptional wine-tasting experience. The wines are top-notch—each sip reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into every bottle. Their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are standouts, but every wine we tried had incredible depth and character. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're a wine lover or just looking for a serene escape, Mt. Eden is a must-visit!”

“A random find, but turned out to be beyond expectation. Were looking for a place in downtown Saratoga to have a casual brunch with a friend, trying to get out of “popular” places to avoid the long unnecessary wait, hence we did not expect a great meal from this random walk-in.
But we walked in, clean and standard restaurant decor, standard brunch menu, ok food display. So I thought, meh, ok meal.
Then I took a spoonful of the Shakshuka Egg, amid the look, it’s actually quite delicious! So we stopped the conversation and focused on the food more, took another spoonful of the Loco moco, it’s way better than I expected, surprisingly tasty! The beef patties is juicy, real-meaty and fulfilling!
I would recommend coming here if you want an easy and nice brunch, not overcrowded or hectic but quiet to meet with friends or family. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still in Saratoga so it’s pricy, and don’t expect IG friendly photo. But it’s a decent place if you want to eat and chat!
And downtown Saratoga got a lot of public parking spots, convenient to walk to restaurant.
Parking: Park at Saratoga public parking”

“Taotaotea located right next to the o reilly is a small boba shop in saratoga.
Owned by taiwanese aunties who seem to enjoy cutesy aesthetics and very homey and loving vibes.
They have a lot of deals especially for the prospect high schoolers across the street
Overall some of their tea and boba is very unique but the tea wasn’t as strong for some.
I really enjoyed their fruit teas as it had a lot of flavor to it.
Boba was also solid when fresh
Would come again if i need a quick boba fix in saratoga”

“I’ve been here twice and the second time was amazing! Michelle was fantastic and so much fun to talk to! I was sitting by myself at the counter and we engaged in great conversation. She didn’t pressure to buy additional drinks or take more home. She also let me take my time there. Thanks for a great experience, Michelle!!”
“Although their main deck is not open the secondary deck overlooking a small valley behind the hill of Saratoga is also great! Tasted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and was impressed. No need to go to Napa in order to have some nice wine and great serene atmosphere”
“Bar tender was very nice and made us feel comfortable. The outside area is my favorite part of this bar and why I will definitely make a point to stop by again. Food was not being served when we went by which was disappointing but not the end of the world.”
“We went here for St Patrick's Day and it did not disappoint. In fact we loved it because it wasn't as crowded as we were afraid it was going to be, but it definitely was alive and happening. Great service and great down to earth atmosphere. My only major complaint was they did not take credit cards. I get they want to keep the cost down, but considering the drinks were so inexpensive, just bump the price up $1 to make even more money. We were having so much fun, but we had to leave because we ran out of cash. Had they taken credit cards, The extra cocktails we would have ordered would have easily made up for the cost of plastic. But definitely loved the place!”

“It's a one barista coffee shop and bakery so if there's more people it can be a bit of a wait. That said they had quite the variety of pastries, ice cream, and even turkish delight. The cream puff I had was delicious. They even had a fun selection of candles and one mini-cake.”

“So I was having a very bad, no good, awful day! My car broke down while at the bank in the same parking lot. I had my 2 year old son with me. It was going to take over an hour for the tow truck. I took my son out of the car seat that was sitting in direct sun and put him in the passenger seat. I then went to lift the hood to let AAA know which car. When I got back to my son he managed to place coins in EVERY slot in the car he could, like in less then a minute. So, not only am I stranded with a two year old and a broke down car but I now have coins in slots and no jackpot! My daughter is waiting to get picked up, no one has had lunch and I am just done. I walked across the parking lot to ady least get a snack for my son, who needs to eat like now. The fruit was three only interest for my son but after opening it up it was mussy. I tried ordering an iced drink and my brain could not form the right statement to order. The drinks were not what I wanted and the fruit was bad. I don't blame the Starbucks for my very bad, no good, awful day but that didn't make it better like I hoped.”

“I originally wanted to eat pork rib rice.
But that day was gone,
The next best thing is fish steak rice.
It doesn't look very appetizing,
But after trying it, I found it was quite delicious.
I ordered a dish of white-cut large intestine.
The smell is a bit stronger, which is a pity!”
“On our last visit to Santa Clara, we made a detour to the Mountain Winery and wow was it fun. We did the wine tasting in the early afternoon and stayed on for a comedy show later that evening featuring Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, and Craig Ferguson. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Just relaxing at the winery, sipping some wine, and taking in the views was one of the highlights of our vacation. ??????”

“La Mere Michelle hosted our wedding reception on Saturday Feb. 29th and it was an amazing night! Chef Marc, Madame Michelle, and their whole team really made this special for us. We asked our guests to get to the restaurant at 5:30, and they already had a special room all setup for us. I had been working with Marc in the days leading up to the wedding, he was a ton of help. Helped us get the room exactly how we wanted it and was even sending videos of the setup the day before. His great communication and confidence in the success of the night really helped put our nerves at ease. After our guests visited for a bit and had their wine served to us by a team of their staff, we started off with a delicious wedge salad. It had the perfect balance of Roquefort dressing, bacon, and bleu cheese crumbles. There was even someone going around with fresh cracked pepper offered to each guest! All the salads came out in a timely manner, with the bride and myself the groom being served first. The plates were quickly cleared when guests were done and it was on to the next course. Each guest was given a choice of a chicken, steak, or salmon dish. What I especially appreciated was that the guests had their orders taken on the spot - none of that needing to pick your option weeks/months ahead of time! Personally I was planning on the salmon, but that night I decided to go with the chicken. These entrees were served traditionally and also came out on time, with no guests having to wait any longer than the amount of time it took to walk back from the kitchen. The wine and water was kept pouring throughout this whole time. After dinner we were all served champagne for a nice toast and some speeches. The whole dinner, from the moment we arrived, we were waited on by at a minimum three staff. Not like they would wait other tables and come check on us when needed - they were there to help the whole dinner! They were also serving at the bar just outside the room when our guests wanted something different than beer. It was a really nice personal touch to have assistance the whole night. All the staff was nice and friendly, they were talking to us and the guests and added to the conversations but without being too much. Madame Michelle was also making her rounds, talking to the guests and giving us good marriage advice while also making sure everything was as perfect as we expected during this wedding reception. All in all this was a great place to have our dinner at. Chef Marc handled all the Little Details and provided us some much needed stress relief. The food was delicious, the service top notch, and everything was above and beyond what we expected. Looking forward to eating here again on our next trip to Saratoga!”
