“I stopped by Saratoga Bagels on a Friday morning to grab breakfast to go. I got an everything bagel sandwich with egg, cheese, mushrooms, some sauces, and jalapenos. The bagel was amazing. Very tasty and fresh, and it made for a satisfying breakfast without being overly pricey. The jalapeno was a nice touch and added a lot to it.”

“We had such a wonderful experience at Sushi Heaven! Annie was our waitress, and she is absolutely delightful — full of happiness, positive energy, and genuinely good vibes. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The food was excellent. My salmon teriyaki was cooked perfectly, and the salmon and tuna sashimi were both fresh and delicious.

The restaurant has a really nice, friendly atmosphere and is exceptionally clean. Great food, great service, and a welcoming ambiance. We’ll definitely be back!”

“This is not our first meal at Hero Ranch, so a few flaws were noticeable. The food was mostly excellent, as we expect, but I was disappointed that the pappardelle seemed to be cooked in insufficient water and/or not stirred properly. The pasta, which is a bit too thick to begin with in my opinion, was stuck together in clumps. Not all of it, but enough of these hard masses to make navigating the dish a bit difficult. The ragu was delicious as always. Our other dishes, crab cakes, taco trio and berry cobbler were of the standard I expect. After all, this space is the hallowed ground where David Kinch got his start at Sent Sovi. I also think a bit more training of the waitstaff would be in order. Our server was very pleasant and attentive enough, but failed to cover the wine bottle with a napkin in the ice bucket, so she spilled quite a bit of water over our settings when pouring. I think that the servers have been chosen well, with fine personalities, but perhaps could use a bit of training if they are not highly experienced. Speaking of wine, I must mention one of the strongest plusses of this establishment. The wine list is not extensive, but it is well chosen and a tremendous value. Premium wines are priced with minimal markup, which is very appreciated by this diner. We had a bottle of Dom Perignon for less than it would cost at even a discount liquor chain. Most restaurants make large profits from wine sales, so the decision of Hero Ranch to price wines at store prices is a big deal.”

“When I’m feeling like life isn’t worth living, instead of dialing 988 I just go here and get something with the verde salsa. It reminds me that life is worth living.

“I cannot say enough about this restaurant! GOGA is the place to go for fresh, healthy, delicious food! Definitely Saratoga’s hidden gem! It is behind the UPS building with plenty of parking. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating & Chef Brads presentation & deliciousness of his fabulous meals is always 5 stars! We will be going back this Sunday for brunch with family from out of town that can’t wait to try it! Go GOGA!!”

“The restaurant has an unobtrusive storefront, and opens at the start of the single seating dinner service. The evening’s guests are comfortably seated in a single row at the counter, where we can see the finishing touches applied to each dish, and the team gives helpful descriptions and background context for the dishes.

This was an exceptional dining experience, each course was prepared thoughtfully with vibrant flavorful ingredients, artfully arranged and appealing to all the senses. Portioning was just right, to where you leave satisfied but not over-full. We tried a couple of the drinks, and the fizzy peach sake cocktail with a hint of shiso was superb. The sake offerings were also very smooth.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a hearty appreciation for good food. Conversely, picky or demanding children would be best left at home. I saw the team try to handle such a situation with patience and kindness, but I don’t think either side of that interaction enjoyed it. It should go without saying that an exquisite set menu prepared by a two person team might have room for adjustments if informed in advance, but doesn’t have room to make many changes on the spot for the whims of a demanding child.

This was one of the most delicious and memorable meals I’ve had all year! Also the bathroom was really nice, the toilet has some clearly-labeled bidet and flush controls on the wall by the toilet paper that some guests seemed to have missed entirely.”

“We love the vibe of this place, the food, and every person who works there. Miguel, the owner, is always upbeat and welcoming. We can't say enough about him! His wife Angelica and their son Miguel are both friendly and downright lovely.

The staff, Miguel (one more Miguel!) and Pablo, are always there to fill chips and salsa (which is AMAZING) top off drinks, and run food, which is consistently phenomenal. We appreciate that both of them are always there. There has been little or no turnover at this restaurant since they opened, which is always a good sign. The margaritas are next level and the sangria is fabulous! I don't know why it has taken so long for us to leave a review. We eat at Casa Lupe Real at least once a month and have never been disappointed.

“Scarlett’s is such a great addition to the neighborhood! The drinks are beautifully made and so well balanced, but guys… THE FOOD. Incredible. The sliders, corn riblets, and fish & chips are all must-orders for me, and if I could get the Green Kiss by the pitcher, I absolutely would.

“We were going to the Mountain Winery and we're looking for a takeout meal, this restaurant really hit the spot. It was very easy for me to order over the phone. I specify the exact time I wanted the meal ready and upon arrival the meal was ready. We had a short drive to the winery, opened up our take out meals and they were just as we expected. We enjoyed the local Loco bowl, the fried artichoke hearts, a caramel shake and the portobello mushroom burger. We loved all the food.”

“bell tower cafe has an old school vibe with decent food. the wait staff is friendly and the food arrived to the table quickly. I had pancakes as part of my order and I wish they had a glass container for the syrup... instead I was given a small single serving plastic container. I also was turned off by the extremely cheap silverware.. it was one step up from plastic... amazing how little details can give you such a strong impression about a place. If I had to choose between the bell tower cafe or holders country inn (the one in Saratoga), I would choose holders... simply for the less cheap feeling it brings.”

“We had great experience at Florentine Trattoria. I had Crab and Shrimp pasta and it was the most delicious seafood pasta, I have ever had. I asked Alexandro: how your shrimps are so fresh. He smiled and said: Because they are fresh. Also pasta and bread were outstanding! “I have known the Korean waitress since the E 3rd Avenue, San Mateo location days. Extremely friendly waitress. Food portion is always generous and decent quality. I have been to both locations but sadly, the San Mateo location doesn't exist anymore.”
